The day of the purchase, the service was acceptable. Once purchase was made ($1600 dress) plus a 100$ rush fee for shipment of special order was charged to get the dress on time, the service deteriorated. Dress came in late, was too big (not as per sample in another color) and store owner did not want to wave 100$ for rush fees.. After buying a 1600$, $100 was not the issue, it's a matter of principal.

I have received calls in the past from previous clients of TRES CHIC who purchased from the boutique only to find out later that they were greatly overcharged by the greedy and pushy sales staff. These clients are literally in tears as they explain how they feel bullied and misled. People are purchasing for their most special and memorable occasions and TRES CHIC ruined the experience for them. I would suggest all clients be aware and try and find other more trustworthy boutiques to support. No one likes a bully.

Well well well , CAUGHT READ HANDED it seems. Overpriced merchandise! Believe it people it’s true they buy merchandise from other manufacturers like I ❤️ Tyler Madison and they remove all labels and then brand them as their own with Très chic Styling labels and sell them TWICE THE PRICE. How dishonest is it to cheat clients and sell other people’s merchandise as your own and ask for double the price !!! Angelica you were caught with your hand in the cookie jar. So sad that your business thrives on cheating people. There is an article with proof and pictures of the cheating in the Journal de Montreal dated december 14th 2017 on page 2. Should be called “TRÈS CHEAT STYLING”!!!!

Recently visited this store just to have a look. I was curious so went around the store looking at the clothes to see if there was anything I would be interested in. This is a small store so the staff person could have seen me wherever I was by just standing in one place. But no, she was literally following me around in the empty store and wasn't even hiding it. You can tell the difference between staff being around to show they're available to help versus following you. Unfortunately this was the latter. I don't know if it was a race thing or if they thought I was going to steal something with my tiny purse. Either way it did not feel good.

Note to shoppers: Tres Chic has a non-refundable deposit policy that is neither verbally relayed nor appears anywhere in writing that is visible to unsuspecting customers. I was recently with a friend who had to leave a $600 deposit to hold a dress she was unsure about as, according to the staff, it was guaranteed to sell over the weekend. She decided not to purchase the dress, but Tres Chic refused to return her deposit. She had spent 3 hrs. the previous day trying to find something else in the shop that worked, to no avail. The customer is from Alberta, so clearly is not able to use a store credit. The manager simply refused to make an exception and give her back her deposit. Basically, Tres Chic will make an extra $600 on a dress that they know will fly off the hanger, and which, coincidently, is available at The Bay (pity we didn't know about this before going to Tres Chic). This amounts to stealing a customer's money and demonstrates a distinct lack of class on behalf of the management. Tacky, to say the least.

All I have to say is that it is refreshing to have a European like boutique in our city. Somewhere you can go and find clothes you don't find in other shops. They have such a big selection that I always find what I was looking for with the professional and personalized service of their staff. I highly recommend you try it out for yourself!

I don’t even know where to start. The only thing saving this place is Helen and the staff who work there she is a saint and I don’t know how she handles the owner. I can not even begin to explain how horrible the owner is. Not only is she rude and sarcastic, but completely delusional! She speaks horribly to customers especially the ones she thinks who don’t “fit” in her boutique. I was looking for a dress for an event and when I wasn’t sure or found something that wasn’t in my budget, she made me feel like I didn’t belong in there! Not only that, she made me feel GUILTY for not buying anything because she kept saying “you’re not helping me keep the store alive and you’re not supporting me in these times.” I was completely stunned I’m sorry EVERYONE is trying to keep afloat!! When you don’t find something you like or don’t want to spend $$$$ on something you’re unsure of, the last thing you need is the owner to mock you. I will never step foot in that place again and if I do it’s only for Helen. The WORST!!! GOOD LUCK!!
