Super unimpressed. When they buy your items they offer little to nothing.. better to sell on kijiji or Facebook marketplace. When they send out texts giving discounts on such things as fall and winter apparel, they don't include jackets, etc. Not like my kid is going to wear a winter jacket in August... very misleading. Very cheap clothes. Good for specially young kids who grow so fast. Twice a year they have 90% markdown sales. One in winter one around summer time. If you want to save money and buy various kinds of clothes for your kids. This is definitely a place me and my wife would recommend.

As an environmentally-conscious consumer, I appreciate second-hand shops. OUAC has a great selection that is well sorted, making it easy to find what you are looking for. If you are looking at footwear, you will need to check adjacent bins because many shoppers clearly toss stuff back in the wrong bins. As the shop has grown, I have also noticed more damaged items that are slipping through their review. Check the seams and zippers to be sure (just as I would recommend at any shop).

Walked in and right sway noticed that this location is larger and much more open and lighter feeling than the st james location (no shade to the st james location, i LOVE them!) The layout is a little different as well. The 5 for 15 sleepers are sorted by boy and girl in either the boy or girl section which is convenient. As always, found some amazing deals like a Mat and Nat diaper bag for 40 dollars and ALL of the sleepers (don't worry, i left some for everyone else) Friendly staff, clean store...10/10 recommend and will drive from Wolseley to Transcona again

This place can save you hundreds of dollars. Why buy new shoes for your kid's daycare or school when they will outgrow them in no time? You can buy a used pair for $3-10 easily, and many are quite nice! Same goes for shirts, pants, dresses, toys... Check it out.

Friendly staff, however they are very picky on what they purchase. I was trying to sell pants that I had purchased in a set of two pants from carters. They wouldn’t buy them because they said they look like they belong to a set, which they do but only a set of two pants! They also refuse things with little marks. But when browsing through the clothes they we’re selling. A ton were faded, worn out, and even stained. So maybe they don’t clear out old items enough or double check what they’re selling.

I love this place! Modern consignment store!They expanded the floor space and updated the look of the store. It is much easier to navigate the aisles and find the racks that I need. They sell gently used baby and kids clothes, sizes newborn to size 16, many brand name items. The store has gently used toys as well. Shoes and boots are available, baby sizes to size 5 or 6. I also bring my kids' clothes to the store when they outgrow it. You will get cash on the spot for your clothes.

The prices for selling is extremely ridiculous. We decided to donate our things to Salvation army instead. We were offered 2 dollars for a toy they would have sold for 10 dollars. Donating my things was a better deal. The rewards to giving things away was better than 2 dollars in my opinion. However they have a good selection and i have bought some nice things from this place. My wife and I were looking to exchange some clothes and heard great things about this store. We walked in to a very welcoming staff, all saying good morning and quickly asking if we have been here before. Within minutes we were helped and explained the process. Once our items were sorted, they explained why they were split and how many items they accepted and our credit. The stock is great! Literally every other item on the sorted racks, we stopped and were blown away of the condition and care that went into sorting and hanging everything. The store is well kept, clean, and keeps confusion to a minimum. Anyone, and I mean anyone, looking for a venue to exchange or buy clothing should visit here. It was great and we will be returning each time we need more clothes or wish to just donate. Keep this location alive and thriving.

We usually save a bundle when we are getting new clothes for the little dude. Should you get there early on some of their premium sale days (90% clearance for example) you can get an entire age category of clothes for less than 70 bucks. Wish they had some more space as it can be quite cramped in the store, especially when there is a decent amount of people in there.

Been trying to sell to them for weeks now better off just doing market place .. i called them they told me the wait wasn't long if I came now I got a ride got my 7 week old in the carseat and was here 30 min later and now the wait is from 11 am to after 4 pm not happy with this place I won't be coming back to sell or buy no more why didn't she tell me on the phone it's 8 hour wait?? I must add I was not told on phone when I call and asked how long the wait was they made it sound like it wasn't that bad maybe 2 or 3 hours wait but 8 hours come on they could of told me that on the phone,, I also been trying to sell to u guys for over 5 weeks now so no I won't be back to you guys to sell or buy it was a huge wast of time for me and very hard for me to get my 7 week old out and over there so fast yesterday but I did just to be told it's and 8 hour wait

They have decent used clothes but are very inconsistent with buying stuff. They say they won't buy something that has minor wear but yet their stock has products with more wear and stains. Prices sometimes can be good but can also be expensive. Considering it's used clothes why would I pay 4.50 for a shirt that cost 6$ new. Need more consistency in pricing and shouldn't pay attention to the brand's considering it's all used items. Also they expect you to have your clothes layed out nicely for them to sort through, but yet when you get them back they are thrown all over the place and not organized at all. If they want their stuff to be neat and organized I don't understand why they can't do it back.

Endless amounts of selection! You can literally find anything you are looking for here. However, the “regular” price of clothing; namely the baby clothes, seem quite over priced in my opinion. You can get a brand new onesie from carter’s for the same price. You definitely have to go on a day that there is some sort of sale going on. Also, make sure you really look at the clothes you are buying, I found quite a bit of stuff with stains, puke, etc on them.

I like buying from them, dislike selling to them. They are super pickey about what they buy - one dress I bought new for my daughter that same year and tried to sell was rejected because it was "not a current style". Also when I question why some items were rejected, they don't even know why and ended up buying them!! I don't think staff are checking individual items carefully enough... and your stuff is a huge mess when you get it back (batteries thrown everywhere in with clothes for example). It is a good place to go for used clothes/shoes/toys for kids though.

Very picky about clothes and consistently said no to items because they maybe had a leaf on them or something that could be easily picked off. The debris only came from the boxes which we were instructed to being the clothes in. I store my boxes in the garage, sorry they might have been a leaf in there. But I have done good business with them and I would come back again. Some of their items are overpriced considering they're both used and not in great shape, however I like the organization.

Had a bad experience brought my stuff there for them to buy and they didn't even go through it or open it then called me and said they went through it and when I got there nothing was opened and complained that stuff smelled musty but I washed it took it home smelled each item myself and all I smelled was laundry detergent it was the fact they were in bags but yet I didn't know it had to be in bins or totes it was my 1st time there it was a complete waste of my time there was a couple other ppl that brought stuff in a garbage bag and was treated nicely and got money right away but some how mine smelled musty and they didn't even open anything oh well there loss I will be calling there manager for the rudeness and waste of my time they can compensate my gas for wasting my time

It is clean and well organized. I dropped off some clothes and I felt they gave me a fair price for what I brought in. They didn't take everything but were very polite and explained why they didn't take certain items. The girls that work there were busy but I felt I received really prompt customer service. There are some great deals to be had, knowing your prices will help. When you sell things back they can be very picky sometimes, so keep that in mind. Any thing slightly stained they won't take our things that aren't in style which can vary depending on who goes over your clothes. Tried selling about a 40$ out fit we just got (given to us) from "osh cosh" a month ago and they wouldn't take it. Know your prices on strollers, I'd rather go on Kijiji, if looking for a good deal. Its not nearly as big of a hassle going there than selling or buying things on Kijiji.

Love it. Although sometimes I find they overpriced just because it's name brand etc... Cabela's pants that look the same as no name brand are $8 compared to $4.50 and a stroller that is only made in Australia was almost $300 even though it was missing parts... We ended up asking to drop the price and we traded our old stroller in and got a fairish price, but it's missing a part and it's not in the greatest condition but it's still a great stroller... I will not sell them anything else really because they are also super picky and inthink they have bias when it comes to purchasing because my sister took in a bunch of stuff and they only bought maybe 5 things out of a box yet others with similar lots have had the whole bucket bought.... Really frustrating... I understand they have rules though so I will keep buying from them...

Its a great store for buying a selling. Some of these employees have attitudes and shouldnt be around children. Some of them also dress inappropriatly for a retail enviroment especially envolving children (crop tops. Really short shorts. Lots of camel toe) . my family was singled out for a mess that a group of like 10 -15 kids made but all the other parents left while my kids were cleaning and we atill got yelled at. There was also no adult working to speak to. Everyone working were chatting laughing teenagers who dont take the buisness seriously. Walked in a week ago and the staff pointed and whispered about me. I already am not comfortable bringing my children here but now i wont be returning either.

I go there to buy 99% of all my kids stuff. I find the prices very reasonable and the selection is great. I don't sell to them anymore because I was finding they were being ultra picky, they turned down a new outfit because it had a single cat hair on it. Overall for buying experience, I never leave unhappy or empty-handed. I recommend it to everyone I know who has kids.

There's great deals to be found here, but there's also huge ripoffs. Example: graphic t's, whether short sleeved or long, it's cheaper to buy them on sale in stores, new. The Children's Place has long sleeved graphic shirts on for $4.95 a lot of the time. Most of the time they're $5.95 and sometimes $6.95. Brand new. Price tag says $12.95 but they're never regular price. OUAC charges $6 for these. I assume they go by regular price, not even considering they're on sale all the time. All the time. ALL. I've never bought one of those shirts here. Leggings also cheaper in stores on sale. They need to better watch what they charge for things. They have things on clearance that are 50% off and I still consider some of it too expensive. Sleepers are great at 5 for $15. Onesies 10 for $10 is pretty good if you have the patience to dig thru bins where sizes are all mixed up. Shoes here are in terrible shape and expensive for the shape they're in. Don't waste your time. Strollers are also ridiculously overpriced. I've seen strollers there for $150 that were so dirty, and selling for $40-60 on Facebook marketplace or Kijiji. Just watch your prices and you'll save a lot of money. Sign up for emails and find out when they have all clearance items $1 each. That is the sale to catch!

I live very far from out of town (Niverville) and was recommended by a close friend to check out once upon a child. I walked into this location with a smile on my face and walked out feeling completely defeated. I was informed prior by my friend that during this time, it is called your busier season and the wait for buys is longer (which I had absolutely no issue with). When I walked in there, I informed the lady that I was a first time seller and asked if she could explain the process to me, she gave me a very dry explanation and I actually had to sit in my car and do my own research on how it works. I could clearly see they were extremely busy and informed the workers that they could take as much time as they needed on mine, it didn’t matter to me when it was going to be done (this was around 12pm). A few hours later, I was informed my buy was done and when I was presented it, I was shocked. They took one pair of George shoes and none of the adidas tracksuits, nike sweatshirts, or any of the name brand clothes. I was a little shocked and proceeded to ask why these items were passed on (I really wish I hadn’t now) The lady just turned around and made a face to her fellow co workers and then she said “We are extremely busy and can’t go through all your items, it’s our busy season so we don’t have time for you and your clothes.” They had texted me 5 hours after I dropped off and they didn’t have time for me ? After I asked her what I should do with the items (hoping she would say I could come back another time) she recommend that I take my things to VALUE VILLAGE since “that’s the best option for them” as she said, she didn’t even mention the other location (which I found out about on my own). I felt completely defeated and they made me feel as if I didn’t matter and all my clothes were ugly (I didn’t know adidas, nike, Calvin Klein, etc. we’re deemed ugly) This location is a joke of an establishment and has the worst customer service. I’ve never experienced anything like this and even expressed my concern and experience to others, who all said that they had the same experience (about 20 couples said that) As of today you have lost my family and many others as customers, we have vowed to take our money to the other location which I will be visiting soon. As an owner I would be mortified by the way your employees run your business, you should be ashamed and your employees really need to rethink how they deliver their answers to customers. I wish this business the best of luck and hope something changes in the near future. This was my experience from over a week ago and it still rests in my mind.

Good for buying NOT selling! I brought in barely worn/ new brand name baby clothes and was offered $20 for 2 whole boxes. I politely declined and requested my items back, however the nicest items I brought in weren't in the box they returned. I live far so was unable to go back once I realized they took items without me knowing. I called and they were no help/ denied the incident. Employees are not helpful in store either.

After a bad experience with the staff this weekend over the wording of a promotion I had left frustrated and angered without purchasing any product. I spoke to the manager Sam who not only apologized and brought my issue to the staff attention but also offered me something in return to rectify the situation. It never was about the money but the way I was treated. I am glad that Sam took the time to hear me out and fixed the situation. It makes me feel good knowing that they really do care about your business and customer service!

Dropped off a few dresses my daughter had outgrown and picked up a few more outfits. Great experience. The staff was very polite and helpful explaining how dropping cloths off works. The store was clean and please to shop in. The clothing racks were full but not too tight. Prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be shopping here again!

Great place if you’re looking for good used kids clothes or are trying to sell your good used kids clothes.. it’s so nice and easy now you drop off your used clothes and they keep you updated on the process through text message and tell you once it’s all processed and you come back pick up your leftover clothes and get paid for what they bought. Super easy and convenient you can go do other shopping while you wait!!

Don’t even bother bringing in clothes , they are so picky with choosing their clothes, I brought in 3 boxes of gently used clothing and only got 10$ back , it is better just selling them yourself on kijiji, won’t be going back there in the future. Plus the staff there is always grumpy and not welcoming...

I certainly appreciate the great selection of clothing offered at OUAC East and the prices are always reasonable. I have given a 3 star based on the exhausting experience in trading clothing in to this location, in the end it's easier to drop off to a charity then to go through the process.
