If you'd prefer some deals, watch for sales, such as Midnight Madness or take a peek at the discount rack usually on their back porch heading toward the Beach House (bathing suit store). I bought a pair of shoes on line at Bigley but was contacted by Julia to let me know that they were no longer in stock. After confirming that I wasn't able to take another size/width she offered to contact the manufacturer for me to see if she could order a pair for me. She contacted me within 30 minutes to let me know that this was not possible and promptly refunded my money. Super friendly and prompt and superior customer service. If I can buy from them in the future I definitely will.

A great shop in the middle of picturesque Bobcaygeon, which is a great town to visit. Ended up buying a pair of Birks at Bigley's, and was so impressed with the help and attention provided by Belinda. She helped extensively with fitting the sandals to ensure I got the right size, I'm sure I would have bought the wrong ones on my own. The price was right, loved the style, and again, the friendly staff made the difference!

Met one sales lady ... very busy, then Sheri stepped up to help. We covered most of the store looking for what I wanted and even out of her dept. to another. She had so much patience with me and time did not seem to be a problem with her. Such a kind, caring person. Finally found what I wanted. It was a wonderful experience... with Sheri's help. Well they have quite a few swimsuits. I found one but the customer service was not polite. I was pretty much ignored with only a few comments while all of the sales ladies swooned over this other customer. I had my hubby come with me as I trust his taste and the lady kept staring him down and bumping into him rudely. Then she wouldn’t let him come to my change room which was right across from from the opening and I wasn’t really comfortable coming out to show the entire store my swimsuit. So swimsuits yes, customer service no.

Overall a good store with s lot of variety. Staff seems to atleast ask if there is any help needed. Popular amongst women for some reason. Otherwise, seems like an overrated place for no apparent reason. May be because it is the hero of a small town? Quite possible.

Perhaps not surprisingly, they have a much larger selection for women than men. In fact, their relatively small selection of shoes for men was disappointing. That said, I get it. Women undoubtedly buy more shoes than men do, and it's reflected in the selection and staff knowledge (male clerk I asked had never heard of "pool sandals"), and those looking for women's shoes, will be able to "fill their boots."

I have been wanting to go to Bigleys for a few years and it didn't disappoint. The shoes and purses are fabulous. There's a style there for everyone. The clothing was very nice too and included mens, womens and children's fashion. Unfortunately there was no petite section, which I wanted, but I enjoyed looking anyway. The kitchen section was great and i bought some nice things for care packages for friends. All of this in the pretty town of Bobcaygeon. It was worth the trip and worth the wait.

I had the pleasure of shopping with my 14 year old granddaughter for a bathing suit for her at Bigley's Beach House yesterday. Hats off to the fantastic (not exactly young) sales woman, who understood what a 14 year old is looking for, what size would fit her, what brands she would be comfortable in, and what styles are most in fashion for her. We had so much fun, thanks to this kind, thoughtful woman. It makes such a difference to deal with sales people that really care for your satisfaction. I have never been disappointed at any Bigley's store.

Shoes and Clothing is an understatement, there is everything from Crocs to Egyptian style greeting cards. I love some of the kitchen wares but again there is something for everyone, and the coffee and treats in the upstairs area is surprisingly good.

Great brands. Always keep reciepts for stuff you buy there. They love your money. Only like to return stuff not worn. I have had a 300 dollar bathing suit fade and change colour. With proper washing. With in a month. Flip flops they sell there fall apart easy. If people will spend $$$$$$ at a boutique. Be sure that product lasts. Return them if they fall apart in a week. There has to be better boutiques out there!

Purchased a butter dish and spoon rest. Sales associate brought a new butter dish still in packaging. I asked to take a look at it but she told me that she herself prices the goods and inspects them for quality. She assured me that all would be perfect so, instead of checking out the item which I should have done, I purchased it with the belief that it would be in perfect condition. It was not. It has 3 flaws - had I known I would not have purchased. I emailed the company on June 29 and have yet to receive a response. Not the best customer service.

I really like going to Bigley’s with my mother as she likes to buy things there. I personally find there prices high. You can find the same items for less at other stores. They are charging the MSRP on everything. I will only buy from there 50-80 percent off sales. Example Hunter boots half price. Bigleys is unique in the area for the selection and clothing availability given its geographic location. They have higher end labels that you would need to travel an hour to get or buy on line. My mother will buy shoes there full price when they come in because she wants specific shoes, so the store can serve the bargain shopper like myself and my mother. They also have a great men’s area that sells nice shirts but also t shirts. Decent selection of shoes for men, but the focus is on the ladies.

They kept me posted and it took a bit longer than expected and because of that the gave me a better deal on the item. When the item came in they gave me a call and I picked them up at my convenience. The item did fit so I took it. I was given a coffee voucher so I went upstairs and discovered a lovely coffee shop which everyone should visit! Good stuff!! The staff at Bigley’s were all very helpful and polite. It made for a good experience, something that is hard to find nowadays. Thanks Bigley’s

I went to Bigleys on Wednesday December 1st at 4pm to pick up a parcel for a friend . The order had been placed over the phone and had been paid for. When I walked in the door the lady behind the counter (wish I had her name) had her head down doing paper work. Without lifting her head from her work said can I help you? Didn’t even look at me. That put a sour taste in my mouth. When I told her what I was there for she went to the back to look for the order and came back and said , nope, nothing here. I asked her to check again. Came back a second time and said nothing here for that person. Then a very nice, helpful lady brought out the parcel that I was looking for. The lady that I was dealing with originally said to me”you told me it was an on line order” and that’s why she couldn’t find it. Never did I tell her it was an on line order. She said” yes you did!” I was flabbergasted that she said that to me! I had planned on doing my Christmas shopping that day at Bigleys. I walked around the shoe department once and not one person offered any help or hello or anything! I was the ONLY person in the store at that time! I decided to keep my hard earned money and shop elsewhere. Customer service is terrible

i got a bad vibe immediately after walking into the store due to the unfriendly staff members and atmosphere. i was stared at by a few staff members rather than hearing a friendly “is there anything i can help you with today?” my family has shopped here multiple times and have never dealt with an exceptionally friendly staff member. the manager was especially unfriendly.

Bigley's is a half-block of multiple stores (women's, men's, kids, kitchen and shoes)This place is wonderful!! Lots to look at and a very wide selection of merchandise. Very clean store and wonderful help floating around if you need assistance. If your in the area this is a detour for sure!!
