Really expensive store though they have the 70% off signs. One onesie set was priced at $46 and after their discount would have been around $14 which is more reasonable, but not everything is in the discount. Some cute clothing, in general it’s a bit dark in there and feels a bit crowded in terms of space vs how much product is out.

I went into Children's Place today to exchange a sweater that was given to my daughter for Christmas. I did not have a receipt, though I thought since the tags were still on that it wouldn't be a problem. I searched the store for the same sweater but the store no longer had it so I picked a sweater the exact same price in a larger size in hopes to exchange it. Funnily enough, the sweater was now on for 30% off. When I approached the cash and explained the situation I was told I could only exchange for a larger or smaller size of the exact same sweater. I said awesome, where are they? The associate then told me they were sold out. I asked why they couldn't substitute since it wasn't me wanting a different style, it was the store not having the product anymore. I also pointed out that the sweaters were now on sale and I wasn't asking for the money difference, I just wanted a straight exchange. Again she repeated the store policy and asked me if I wanted to purchase the sweater I had chosen. I said I wasn't interested in one sweater costing $70 and left. So thank you very much for your lousy store policy. My 7 year old daughter is now out a Christmas gift.

I love the clothes I bought, but it's disappointing that there's nowhere to sit down, when I was pregnant I had to walk to the food court and come back, and today I had to do the same.

This was my first time shopping here. Overall experience was ok. I dealt with 2 sales associates. I was shopping for infant dresses. One was very nice, pleasant and helpful despite being busy. I picked out 4 and asked to have them held for an hour. I returned and asked a 2nd associate behind the counter if I could have the dresses again as I was planning on continuing my shopping. Instead of taking 2 seconds to turn to her right and pass me the dresses I was told I'd have to get in line. Seriously! She was short with me saying "you'll have to go to the end of the line". So I had to get in line to retrieve dresses, continue shopping and get in line to make my purchases. During my time standing in 2 lineups I observed this particular associate to be short with customers, no interaction, and not passing out the coupons she was supposed to have been passing out to each customer. This particular associate could use a lesson in how to engage with her customers.

If I could give no star I would???? I bought a shoe for my daughter and just few minutes of wearing the shoe, she got blisters and I went back to the store to return it but the manager insisted It can’t be returned because it has been worn/wore. This is the most unfriendly store I have ever seen.

Came in just before closing Mar.10th/21 and was greeted by a kind young lady who did not discriminate against me for not wearing a mask - a reflection of good management and education. She graciously helped me, found exactly what I was looking for and even offered to go search the back for more - slightly before closing! This wonderful young employee is a treasure!!

The lady on the floor was very kind but the lady at the till was very rude to my sister-in-law and my mother but kind to me. I don't understand how someone could be so rude to someone let alone the people I'm with but very kind and complimentive to me... Definitely not a happy camper.

I spend more than one hour to pay for my stuff Because they have system problems, Still not my problem to waist my time!! I'll not return back for any of that shop branches. So hard to deal with the staff and the manager as well.

Looks like a store that is understaffed, over worked, and have no concept of what a line up looks like. It feels so disorganised for a children's store. Some would argue baby that is learning how to eat by themselves would be a lot cleaner than the store itself. My biggest pet peeve is the line uo to the cashier. How on earth do they have two opposite sides for the cashier. There's no line up system and so what I could see happening was people pushing in so they could get pay for their items quicker. One of my least favourite stores in Connestoga Mall to go inside. If you have to pick between in store or online shopping, go online!

I would mark 0 rating for them as they don't treated me well...The manager Jennifer was so rude to me when I went to store saying that I need my employee documents. And she said one of her cashier to tell me to go home and call and come when she will have time . Like seriously! This is what you treat employees! Thank God . I am no more part of this store !

Helpful staff but recently I went by to simply write a review on their good service and took a photo and was watched for a long time. Not very welcoming in my opinion. They made me feel like I was a shoplifter or some creepy person. That's not a way to bring repeat customers.

Please don't shop here. A few years ago in Bangladesh, a factory collapsed and killed over a hundred workers. This brand was being made for cheap labour. the Children's Place refused to compensate poor orphans who's parents died in the factory. This company is the true scum of the earth. When we buy from this place we support an unsafe environment in numerous factories that are waiting to fall down and kill these people, but these people must work to feed their families so they have no choice. If you are an employee her please ask yourself why you work here, and is it worth it. We live in Canada, one of the most fortunate places in the world, can't we make our time more useful?

I have never experienced something like this...I was looking for slippers in the store and one of the newer ladies was helping me and she was so nice. Then the women behind the counter,Jordan or something like that snapped at her telling her to leave because her shift was done, she said she was in the middle of helping me and she was just going to finish and clock out and then the lady behind the counter said no, you leave now. So the lady that was helping me apologized and left...no one else came out to give me a hand. I cant believe that's how this place allows employees to treat other employees AND to just tell her to leave a customer in the middle of something. Awkward and disrespectful.

Rude and unhelpful staff...didn’t greet when entered store...didn’t ask if needed assistance...when I asked for help to find something I was given a disgusted look and was told in a rude way that the reason the size wasn’t there was because I was in the clearance rack instead of helping me look.

Will NEVER shop at any Children's Place again.... We bought our daughter 2 gift cards for her birthday for $25 each we went and spent 1 of the gift cards and the other card got lost. I work in retail and directly with gift cards so I know how they work, I have also had my wallet stolen with a Winners gift card inside. If you have a receipt with proof of activation on the card the company is able to cancel a lost or stolen card and re issue a replacement..... Winners did this when I lost one of their cards and I have done this for customers of mine. I called the head office to inquire about cancelling the card and re issuing a card. They were less then helpful, I was on the phone with an associate and then management for a total of 35 minutes only to reach a conclusion, after being put on hold about 6 times, that there policy is not to cancel and replace lost or stolen cards..... but they will give me 25% off of my next purchase. Now my 9 year old goes without her gift card and Children's Place has lost a loyal customer and over what? It is a simple process to cancel a lost gift card, I have the receipt they can look it up cancel it and re issue but this is not their policy. There policy is sorry about your luck and spend more money with us at a slight discount. If the gift card had already been used since we lost it then I would understand but they wouldn't even check. Shameful and horrible customer service, especially for a children's store.

Very rude staff. We were told, quite rudely, that we couldn't try on anything, even on the floor, because of covid even though every other clothes store I've been to has found ways to let us try clothes on without issues. In this time of economic uncertainty it might make sense to not drive customers out of your store with unfriendly policies and staff.

I bought my daughter her winter jacket from here, within a week of having it it got stolen from her school and she was devastated so today I went back to buy her the same jacket but unfortunately they were sold out of her size but the 2 women working there were amazing so helpful one of which sat on the phone with every other store trying to find it as well as looked online and even though she wasn't successfull she still tried her hardest and they are going to let me know if one comes in in her size and honestly you never get that kind of customer service these days, these girls went above and beyond to help me and I'm so thankful

My goodness...where do I begin. First of all I never liked The Children's Place for their style, quality and price (way to expensive for cheap look/quality). However, this location at STC is extra terrible. Poor layout, messy, way TOO much stuff jammed in that small store, you never know where to find what ago unless you look at each tags separately. I went here to spend a gift card and I got bunch of things on the sale rack but didnt belong there..again not organized and adds to the clutter. Their line up situation is another problem, they have one line up on one side and if you go the second register on the other side they send you back to the other one to line up and then come back to the second one, doesn't make any sense. All in all, not good! Staff are also meh.

I tried to return an outfit someone bought for my son that didn’t fit. I didnt see on the receipt that there was an expiration for when I could return it, which i don’t see why there is one at all, it was a gift and I didn’t know there was an expiration on when I could return it, it should be highlighted if it’s that important. I was also only a month over the expiry and she told me “to sell it on bidding battles or something”. I found it quiet rude and was quiet upset they wouldn’t find an exception for me not being aware especially since it was a gift and quiet expensive. I have never shopped here because of the prices and I don’t think I ever will based off my first experience

came in a couple weeks ago with my son looking for some dressy navy pants. there were I believe 3 ladies working 1 of them were new, there was a huge line up at the register. I had asked one of the girls for some help even though there was a lineup at the register cause I couldn't find the size I needed. I thought id have to wait a little for help but the lady came to help me right after she was done ringig in her customer. I could tell she was a little overwhelmed but she still helped me with a smile on her face, helped called another store for the pants and even helped motivate my son to pursue his hockey career lol. excellent service by all 3 ladies, only 4 star because I believe there should be more people working

I dont get what the issue is with the childrens place. This location and guilford have the worst managers. Pushy , rude, they never want to help you when you need it. And yet as soon as you enter they bombard you and push push push. Calm down sit back and take a laid back approach. People don't like people coming at them like a freight train. I'm also frustrated with guilford carrying gymboree but not langley ? Weird.

They will be joking and laughing with other customers and when they see other skin than white, they don’t even say hi or anything. Just a very rude and unprofessional. One of the staff members appears to treat the center of the store as their command center, and just shouts greetings or questions at customers regardless of where they are. For a store that sells stuff for kids it's surprisingly difficult to navigate with a stroller.

Not impressed at all my daughter got some clothes for Christmas that was to big and because I didn't have receipt they told me I could only exchange for the right size witch is what I wanted but they didnt have anything left and wouldnt let me switch for something that would fit her . So now my daughter gets no new clothes from Christmas . Every store I have been to normally would do a gift card or just pick clothes at value . So basically I will never shop there again or ask for anything from there

First off I they were so welcoming. I came here with my daughter. (8 years old)I had no clue what I was doing. All the staff stepped up and made suggestions and even helped me pick her outfits that looked good. I liked the service alone is worth another visit. I liked the service so much I came back and got some t-shirts for my nephew. Thank you all for making this an easy experience.

Customer services is very bad. I went today to that branch to buy some staff to my some . When I tried to ask question to get help She pretend that she don’t hear me and not see me waving to her. I raises up my voice to hear me.when I ask her to help me she said that what we have. So I go and tried to look for what I need by myself. When I go to check out she was very tough and rude. I know the staff in that branch don’t help customer but that person I can’t define if She is rude or racist.

I have ordered a few times and like the clothes however they charged my credit card AGAIN the exact same amount 3 months after my April online purchase and refused to refund the charge saying “they can’t find the charge” when I even gave them the transaction number from visa. If you’ve ordered before watch your credit card statements!!!!

The 3rd time they have left security tags on the cloths I’ve bought. Standing out at their store at 830 this morning so I can get on with my Xmas even. Would suggest shopping elsewhere unless you want the chore of going back to their store so they can finish their job. I should have been more aware when they forgot the first time. We got $70 of clothing for a baby shower gift then when I went to exchange it for a bigger size we were told the gift receipt had expired and we couldn’t exchange it or get any kind of instore credit. When I called customer support I was told I could have a 20% off coupon... for $70 in clothing!! I would have been ok with an exchange of similar items just bigger sizes... now I have all of this clothing wasted. They have lost a customer!

Got two outfits for Christmas for my daughter from children's place. One came with a stain and the other didn't fit. Never washed them and had tags brought them in didn't have a receipt as it couldn't be found. My daughter aunt sent her bank statement with proof of purchase. Had spoken to a manager previously explained the situation she said to bring the items in. I drove over an hour to get there and they wouldn't let me exchange it. Very dissapointed I'm always shopping their buying stuff and I just wanted a different size and was told it was okay. A waste of my time. Also didn't feel like service was great not welcoming when entering the store. Sad to say but I will not be shopping their again or getting my family too.

I just came out of the store and I am very frustrated! We bought the wrong style of pants and went in for an exchange from boot cut to skinny cut jeans. Prices are the same, colour is the same , everything’s the same and the girl, Kyra, took one of my 15 Dollar Place Bucks because I didn’t spend $30? Does that make any sense on an exchange?! Would love to hear back from the Children’s Place on this matter...????

Online order was double charged 3.5 weeks after initial transaction. When contact was made to customer service, they denied the second charge. When proof of credit card statement was provided, they denied the second charge. They said contact your credit card company. I spoke to a supervisor, he said they would look into it. Today I get another email from the Children's Place they say they only charged me once. I called my credit card company and they stated that a refund for the double charge was in process. There was no apology, no accountability, they didn't care. Deny, deny. Please beware of this company. They may save your credit card information and charge you again later like they did to me.

Absolutely shocked by the price of toddlers jogging pants. $ 74.95 for 3. Even with the 50% off $12.50 per pants. Time to find a new place to shop. Two stars because quality has never been an issue.

If I could give a 1/4 of a star I would. I love the clothes and the prices but the service of the employees is the worst. I had items I wanted to exchange in a different size for the exact same item. I was told I couldnt and they gave me a refund for the items and I had to re purchase the same items in the larger size, which were no longer on for the sale price I purchased them for. Therefore I paid more and I actually got two t shirts less because of this. When I asked to speak to the manager she defended the employee saying "well this is the way it's done" RUDE!
