I had the opportunity of spending time in Inuvik as a British soldier in 1988. I have very fond memories of my stay there and the fact that the Legion honoured us with membership to their branch, including a pin from the most northern of Legion branches in the world. As a British soldier this was, to me, the greatest of compliments. Whilst in Inuvik, the people showed me nothing but respect and friendship and for that it will remain in my memories as being one of the best places on Earth that I have ever been. Thank you Inuvik
