Just visit this store. Unbelievable this man there in customer service is very rude and ignorant no patience and unprofessional. If you step in this store and you see a man make a u turn. But there was a really nice young girl there I only purchase because of her kindness God bless her heart ....

The owner is so incredibly rude he brought me to tears in the store. I provided proof to him that I had a medical condition and had to use his washroom urgently, and his reaction to my card was “what is this? I don’t know what this is” in a rude tone and gesturing me away. He then said “just go to fortino’s or something”. I was trying to be discreet and he said this loudly in front of everyone in the place. There’s no way in hell I would buy anything from this place.

I experienced the same rude customer service over the phone as others here did before even stepping into the store! It's a shame that a busy location allows businesses like this to thrive. I ended up going to Kerry's on Ottawa St. Total opposite experience to this place!

Twice a year I host a Customer Appreciation Days, I have been using their services for this event for sometime. I prebook the balloons and request that they last for two days. I have not had any problems with the balloons lasting for the two day event. As a small local business to another small business owner, I appreciate their knowledge on their products and the personal attention. This is why I give them 5 stars.

I've been in this store twice in the last month and couldn't believe how rude the owner to myself and other customers in the store, my what was going to be a larger purchase dropped down to just what I initially went in for. I will take my business back to Party City.

The store has a large variety however the prices are outrageous, and the man who works in the store is very unpleasant. I had three bunches of 4 balloons blown up (12 in total) and only had six make it to our party two hours later. They began popping before they left the bags they were put in. I will never shop here again.

$14.99 for plastic plates?? LMAO!! They aren't even GOOD Plates! The guy working in the store was about as charming as a rattlesnake.. seems to be a trend throughout all reviews concerning this establishment. I will make sure to spend my 60 bus elsewhere next time. Wow.

I came today unsure of what I needed to a party. The store owner was there to answer my questions, make excellent suggestions, advise on where my money would be best spent, and did so in a quick and professional way. He even went out of his way to ensure the balloon arrangements were done tastefully, with added features to ensure photos with them looked great! This was my first time at this store, but I’ll definitely be coming back for all my future party needs. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, cosy-effective, high-quality party store!

I decided against making my purchases at this business because of the rude and condescending service I received. I was asking the man working if he could give me an idea of prices for balloons since I was trying to factor costs into my budget and he seemed annoyed that I was asking for his help.. There was no one else in the store, he couldn't even take five minutes to properly assist me. He also made remarks about my choice of balloons being "too expensive" as if he knew what my budget was.. I don't believe this is any way that you should treat people who are looking to support your business.

I cant speak for any other staff that works there, but the young lady that was there her name was Candice is AMAZING, very very friendly and knows her stuff, Thank you Candice for such great customer service its hard to find that these days.

Pre ordered for my daughter's birthday which was on Christmas. Pick up was at 1pm Tuesday 7 am Wednesday and the balloon looked like it had been here for days. And that's the second time.

It was obviously not so high score but i always have a great time visiting this location. The owner/manager always spends time help me to look for stuff and gives me good advice to have a good party. He is such a nice guy that either gives me something for free or give me some good discounts. Would def come back again and again!

Terrible! We bought balloons online and brought them in hoping they can fill them and just charge us for the helium. They gave us such a hassle about blowing it up. The guy yelled at my nephew to not touch the balloons that is on the floor within a child's reach. I assume he was the manager because he was checking inventory; he spoke to us as if we didn't speak english with his overly exaggerated hand gestures and booming voice. I left feeling discouraged and angry about the whole ordeal. If I can rate them a zero I would.

Definitely a first time & Last time experience. The owner who I dealt with on my initial visit came across very stand offish and uninterested in assisting me at all. When I finally made my choices along with my own balloons I brought it , he was quite argumentative with me. Fast forward to pick up day , I had called first thing in the morning , to see if I could pick up a little later then I had originally planned and was greeted with sass and attitude that the order was already finished. There was no mention of the 7 of my balloons that had popped. Although I know there is no gaurentee on personal balloons , I would of like to be given the option to replace them. Especially after spending 80 dollars on balloons. My husband went to pick up and when walking in the store , he was witness to the owner being quite nasty with his employee , I'm unsure what was said , but my husband said he felt terrible for the young lady working. Will definitely be taking our buisness elsewhere.

Rude and apparently lacks customer service. Arrived at 2:45pm to check out New Years supplies for next year. Saw a guy walk to his car and as I was heading to the store, he impatiently asked “Is there something you need?” He had one foot in his car, sitting in the driver seat and appeared that he was leaving for the day. I told him that I was shopping for New Years supplies and he cut in and said “Everything is packed up.” Not even got out of his car to assist a potential customer. Just a side note: I had just come from Party City in Ancaster and while they were stocking Valentines Day and St Patrick’s Day items, they still had New Years supplies that were discounted for next year. I spent $53.00 there and extremely happy with my purchase. Unfortunately, the guy at Party Max lost not only some business, but also a future client and I’ll ensure I’ll tell others not to go at the location at Upper Wentworth.

Unbelievable rudeness from this store. I was being rushed while I was in the store and then my wife called later in the day to see if we could do an exchange and he said "nope. Says so on my desk." And hung up on her. It's completely disorganized and overpriced.

They weren’t wearing masks which is going against the law and its also gross, they weren’t even behind plexiglass and weren’t distancing from there employees who also weren’t wearing a mask. It was also very pricey.

Prices are high and when I brought a balloon to the front the girl told me I needed 24 hours in advance to have it blown up which I thought was really bizarre..

Store is in an awkward spot near limeridge mall. I brought 10 prepurchased balloons for my daughters birthday, it cost over 50 bucks to fill 10 balloons. It wasn't terrible as a few of them were very big. I was given the impression that each balloon would get its own weight, but only 3 weights were given and it was explained that balloons are like flowers in arrangements. Fair enough. Wouldn't recommend this place but if your in a hurry its pretty good in and out service with a decent variety of party items. Wish the store was more welcoming and clean but hey, its a party store.
