My friend went in to apply for a job here. She had applied online already but was at the mall anyways so she wanted to follow up and make sure her application for was actually reviewed. Since a lot of the time online applications tend to get ignored, this was the smart thing to do in my opinion. She was then greeted by a snobby manager who yelled at her and claimed that she was, “Wasting their time,” by applying online and then following up in person to give herself a fair chance at even being considered for a position at the store. I’m very disappointed that someone with such a terrible attitude and lack of leadership ability could be given such a high-ranking position with the brand. I love Urban Outfitters but after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be shopping at their Chinook location anymore.

It's a poorly layed out store, with no coherent organization, lots of drug related products, and no good deals on clothing ($74.99 for items on clearance isn't okay imho) There is two levels to the store, with a wide set of stairs in the middle. Cute clothes, attentive staff, but $40+ for a ripped up teeshirt? The prices are so outrageous that I haven't bought anything here in years. I do like to go in to get ideas for outfits and then just thrift look alike pieces for a fraction of the cost. They have a thrift store chic sort of image, but you'll be paying out the nose for what is supposed to be a carefree, down to earth look.

I love walking past the Barrington street Urban Outfitters, their window displays are, frankly, whimsical. I do not, however, enjoy the inside of the store nearly as much. I feel like the manikins are judging me, they just stand there with their cold expressionless faces, starting down at you. If you can get past these creepy sentinels, (and kudos to you if you can) then you have to find what you are looking for. This store was not designed for finding things, it's a carefully considered sales ploy disguised as an artsy, casual, arrangement. But I wad not be fooled! I went in looking to replace my sunglasses. I endured the disturbing mannequins, and I found the sunglasses stack out. I made my choice under the scrutinizing gaze of the mannequins and saw to my delight, that they were on sale. This nearly redeemed the store for me, but alas it was not to be. At the till, the cashier relayed to me a much higher price, I questioned it, and they assured me it was correct. Being a trusting person I accepted this and paid for the glasses. But upon returning to the store the next day (despite being in no rush to be reaquainted with the mannequins, I braved them for the sake of a close friend) I discovered that the sunglasses had infact, being on sale! I was betrayed, and I shall not grant Urban Outfitters the opportunity to repeat their offense. Would not recommend.

The spacious ground floor is dedicated to womenswear, lifestyle, and UO Home. Nicely merchandised and emitting a boutique vibe, the interior resembles a warehouse renovated into a luxury loft: combination concrete and wood floors, exposed high ceilings, steel beams, and warm pendant and rail spot lighting throughout. The ladies have it good. Menswear starts at the landing up the first set of stairs, and this is where the good stuff can be found. Usually stocked with Champion, Fila, adidas, and in-house UO apparel the merchandise scream 90s street style. The second floor is mostly disappointing as it only amounts to one quarter of the ground floor and the men's selection is already limited and looks carelessly merchandised. Most of it is UO or house brands. Clearance items composed of mostly unpopular dregs from a bottle are hidden away in a corner behind a wall.

Today, Wednesday, July 1st. At around 6 pm, on the far left cash register. There was an extremely rude and inconsiderate cashier, dark hair, her hair was up, very light skin, seemed to be in her mid 20s to early 30s. She was extremely rude, left in the middle of the transaction to fix a pair of jogging pants before ringing me through after scanning my item. Aggressively told me to move when I accidentally stepped over the line, gave my boyfriend a dirty look when he picked an item near the register up, and just gave the worst customer service I’ve ever received. Usually love my experience at urban outfitters and really enjoy the store and everyone is usually so nice. But this chick just clearly did not want to be there and had a rotten attitude. Someone should talk to her...

although smaller than most of it's sister stores, there is always an adventure to have when visiting. Not just a clothing store. Pick up a journal, records, etc or just spend time touring around the place. Great chill atmosphere and professional but easy going staff.

I might be a bit biased because of what I was looking for. I had forgotten it was a business casual day at work and went to look for a simple pair of non-jean type pants. The closest I could find looked ugly and the price point was terrible. To be fair, I tried to look around at clothing outside of my immediate need. Still, I wasn't overly impressed. I feel like I could find a similar style at different places for far cheaper. Overall, just not worth it to me

Super over priced but you can find some hard to get brands here like Lime Crime and I even found physical copies of Lil Peeps vinyl here which as far as I knew was only available online. Can be cool but don't look to be thrifty.

The staff at this location is impeccable. This is coming from a former retail worker! Everyone was super helpful from the fitting rooms to manager on duty. I ended up shopping here three times within a 72 hour period just because they made my experience that great. Highly recommend this location! Very nice store with an always updating selection of clothes. Great place to find mainstream artists and old movie soundtrack vinyls. The designer clothes are ofc a bit pricey cause of their canadian pricing but still not too bad.
