Vallue Village, also called Savers is the only store truly like this throughout Gatineau. The Savers company prides itself on Recycling, Recuperating and Reusing. All donations go through a well trial. What isn’t allowed to go on the floor with the rest of the items, is going to multiple organisms! For example a lot of blankets end up going to the SPCA for the animals! Whilst rejected clothing will be given to the “Grand-frère Grande-Soeur” Non profit campaign! Then what simply cannot be used, is either recycled or sent around the world to wherever it can be given to help! I really suggest the place to anyone looking for a new look on the go or for a last minute costume! Ps. The halloween section is both new and used!

Definitely one of the smaller locations I've visited but still has a good variety of items. Just wish their electronics section was bigger. Also worth mentioning that I found a bunch of very old Yu-Gi-Oh cards in the kids toy section and some of them ended up being worth more than 10x what I paid for them, so card collectors keep your eyes peeled.

The most overpriced of any Ottawa/Gatineau locations. I also paid for an item here, then was asked to return it as it had been 'put on hold'? They have a do not return policy... but apparently this does not apply when they take the item out of your hands and force you to take your money back! One of our all-time favorite stores for books and occasionally board-games. I have found books and board games there in mint condition with all the contents inside for 1/10th of the price. Today, we went as it’s one of the busiest days as it’s 50 percent off day. I was looking for parking as there weren’t many. I finally found a couple away from the store which didn’t matter. We walked in and the place was so busy! Hard to move when you are waking around. There were a lot of good deals. You have to look to find them. I found a couple of items I was looking for! I had a great time finding new treasures. The cashier closest to the door was really nice and helpful. I would recommend this store as it’s good when you want to get a great deal, without spending too much money.

I heard that they have a senior day so while I was visiting my daughter I thought I'd get her some stuff for her new apartment.
