I cannot rave about this place enough, especially their employee Christine. Online shopping may be convenient, but the customer service here is above and beyond anything you will get online, and they are priced competitively and fairly compared to online shopping. Plus you get what you see! They're also now in a more convenient location, too! This is one of my all time favourite local businesses to support. They do so much for the performing community in Ottawa and are so great at trying to help find products that are the best quality for what you need. I love shopping here!

A great, magical place! Staff really helpful, they spent a long time with me choosing three costumes and making sure it fit my budget. Only downside, is that my rented princess Fiona wig was kinda 'tired' looking and should have been retired from rental I believe. But apart from that, great place!

Went here for a last minute costume for my fiance. Told them our idea and they tried to help us find something at the fire sale for cheaper, but we decided to go to the full shop. Amazing selection, they had just what we wanted for his Captain Spaulding Costume (licensed), and my Black Dahlia Costume! Chris, I think she was the manager, was so helpful too. I wish I had more reasons to dress up!

We were able to gather hard to find pieces for a one of a kind costume for our child for Halloween. The staff were very helpful and made several excellent suggestions that really brought the whole costume together. They had a huge selection of costumes, make up, wigs, and accessories to purchase, and lots of costumes to rent as well. Check it out.

Can't rent costumes with out a credit card and there aren't any other options if you don't have one. Also, you are charging almost the full costume price just to rent it. Over priced, not a very good experience. Basically didn't want my business.

Awesome customer service-got asked if I needed help immediately upon walking in and even as I was wandering around in awe looking at all their awesome stuff. The staff gave me super helpful tips on how to go about creating the look I wanted to achieve in a way I hadn’t even considered. Lots of cool products that are hard to get otherwise (Ben NYE products, coloured contacts, really niche costume pieces, etc.) I will most definitely be back!

I visited their main shop and the fire sale location a few doors down. There's a huge selection of possibly the cheapest, lamest costumes made...but they aren't cheap to buy. The place is dirty and I noticed the same stuff at Value Village for a lot less. I won't be back.

This store is super cool however it was not made clear to me that I could not get my money back if I returned an item. I was told if it doesn't fit bring it back... So I did... now I have a $100 store credit I likely won't ever use and am pretty annoyed.

I went to that store 3 times today because: 1) I wanted a costume and they didn't have it. They were expecting a delivery. I asked them to call me once it gets there. 2) They called me as they said they would, even if they are very busy. I went there to pick up the costume. 3) Once home, I realized the size was wrong so I left a message and finally decided to go back there. I didn't know at that time that sales were final. We had a little discussion about the sizes as they don't make sense to me. For example, if your kid is between 5 and 7 years old, it says that you should by a medium, which is size 8-10. The company's (not Audrey's but the company that produces the costumes) labels are misleading. That size is WAY too big for a 5 year-old but may fit for a VERY tall 7 years old. They accepted to exchange it because I was there a couple hours ago and never opened the package. I really appreciated it because they have strict policy. I totally understand why they would not take something back in other circumstances because unfortunately, some people are dishonest and would return an item that they wore during a party. So we are all paying the price for them when in some circumstances, we made a legitimate mistake. If you are that kind of person, i.e. someone who would return a costume that is used, shame on you. If you can't afford to buy a costume, just DIY. Pinterest could help you find ideas. The employees were very nice with me and did their best to find the size I was looking for. Even if they didn't succeed (a customer misplaced it somewhere in the store), I appreciate the effort. My son didn't get The Flash but he will look awesome in the Batman costume. Thank you for your flexibility and your help.

Went in for a "western" costume for an event I was MC-ing and asked that it be not too revealing. Unfortunately most items were. There were 3 staff on, one helping me. I was there with my husband and two teens. When I was a few isles away, in front of my 2 teens, 2 of that staff had many bad things to say about me one of which included me wanting to be the "center of attention"!? I think I'm a pretty polite and friendly customer and can't understand for many reasons why they'd think bashing me in front of my teens and while I was there would be OK. We put down our intended purchases and left!

I have been going to Audrey's for years as my first stop for Halloween costumes, but it saddens me to say I won't be back. I went today looking for a wig to complete my son's werewolf costume and they would not let me take the wig outside of its packaging to see if it would fit. Also "all sales are final". I will not pay top dollar for something sight unseen with no returns. The pop up Halloween stores have better service (they let you take costumes out of the package) and are cheaper.

This is the best dance/costume store in the Ottawa region bar none. The cherry on the cake is the fact that they respond to customer feedback and they order popular items when demanded. Not only that, but they have a bit of a phoenix rising out of the ashes story. The fact that they managed good service despite their original location being on fire two years ago is exemplary. I recommend.

Wow. This place is a costume heaven. We went in to buy dance wear for my daughter’s ballet class and I had to promise to bring her back to check out the costumes. We had great service. Thanks to the man that was there, he helped us get the perfect fit for our daughter’s ballet slippers - and he was so good with her! I had stopped in two days earlier to buy a bodysuit and tights, but they recommended I bring my daughter in for the shoe fit. Such honest and fantastic service. If you are looking for dance wear from toddler to adult - they have it! The prices are fair and pretty much on par with what I saw on Amazon - but you also get to try it on and have great service. I was thinking I was going to be sticker shocked when I bought my items but I was pleasantly surprised! They also have TONS of halloween/party costumes. Wigs. Makeup. Masks. The whole shebang. Check this place out for all your party costumes & dancewear.

I went to Audrey's for my daughter's dance clothes - leotard, shoes, tights. Apparently I was having some miscommunications with the dance school and had to exchange her dance shoes twice. The woman at Audrey's was SO HELPFUL and understanding. She worked very hard to get us the right shoes and it was so nice to know If could come here and sort out my problems and not have to worry about whether or not she would accept the exchanges. I am so thankful for the help I received and would recommend this place to EVERYONE!

Wonderful costume store where you find a great variety of costumes for adults and children year-round. They also carry accessories you might need to complete your costume. There is a costume rental as well. And they also have dance suits/leotards, shoes and tights in a great variety of sizes and styles. Prices are not particularly cheap, but in normal range.Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
