This is the worst Salvation army I have ever seen. Been here twice and the selection is non-existent. Picture a Saturday - Sunday garage sale and you show up at 4pm Sunday. That garage sale would have better selection. Sorry guys, I try to support these stores but, you should just shut down.

Salvation Army is always a great thrift store. When you shop hear you know your money is going to a good cause - this cannot be said for all thrift stores. I was disappointed in the very small selection of "hardware" type of stuff but the staff are happy and I left with a smile.

I enjoy going into the Salvation Army Thrift store even if it's just to browse. 99%of the time I buy at least 2items because it goes to a worthy cause. I'm here to say that the Salvation Army helps individuals and families out throughout the entire year and not just at Christmas time. I want to THANK the Salvation Army and their volunteers,employees etc for the AMAZING help they are to so many people and families throughout the whole year. Merry Christmas to all.

So little to choose from. So disappointed that there is so little merchandise. And prices are the same as going to Wal-Mart how are the folks with financial difficulties able to afford clothes for themselves and their children. I am SO disappointed on how this thrift store is being managed.

From it's cleanliness to its abundant inventory I am so happy to recommend this as a must go to thrift store for anyone that's into saving money or helping their community. Great place to shop for those thrift shoppers. I found a lot of silverware and jewellery at cheap prices, clothing was great too with brand name products, “American eagle, bolcumm, Hurley, kelvin cline, zoo york etc” You just have to look through the clothing racks to find these items. Foot wear wise is the same with brand names. Downstairs they have a variety of kitchen and house wares that come in as cheaper quality to big brand names, luggage and occasional power tools, they have stuff for the sports enthusiasts for all seasons, small and larger appliances but no fridges or stoves. Lots of cutlery, pots, pans etc. It’s a great place to shop.

The place is so packed with clothes it is impossible to look through easily, and it is the same scenario at the North Store as well. I am sure this is due to everyone deciding to clean out their closets over the lock down. Years ago the old Thrift store on Howard use to have a "Bag Sale" where a person would pay for a bag and could stuff as much clothes in the bag as possible. It was a good money maker and certainly had the clothes laterally flying off the shelves. I believe the draw back was people not being able to use the change rooms as there was always some one blocking it. (if I remember correctly) However, that situation has changed for now and we have all become use to buying clothes without trying them on. If you wish to clear your overstocked clothes a Bag Sale might be something to consider.

A small store with a limited selection. The prices are ok but not great, they have a “colour of the week” sale that helps. The worst thing about this store is that they throw away a majority of the donations they receive. You can see the guy right in front, accepting donations and tossing them into a dumpster. Things that many would be interested in. I don’t understand why it’s like this but it isn’t right.

Impeccable staff! Today a "Karen" showed up at the store, she didn't want to sanitize or wear gloves. She yelled and carried on like a spoiled child. I think she crawled out from under a rock, to be at the store today. The staff handled the situation very well. However, they shouldn't have to deal with situations like this.
