I only wish I could see their inventory better! They sell smokers and grills but the online inventory is not reflecting what they have! Love the renovations! Store is laid out good, but exiting the store is somewhat confusing! If you have no purchases, you still have to wait in the lineup with customers waiting to pay!

I really want to support local, however its challenging when you experience the amount of attitude than some of the staff members have. I said some as most of the people there were pleasant ...thus the 3 stars instead of 1. Question, how can a professional retail business allow their staff to have a sign on their desk with profanity, at eye level for young kids to read? To add insult to injury, the swearing of one staff member at the front desk was unacceptable for a retail store. This is a retail store not a bar! Sorry I can't support Home Hardware until they realize that they are retail store and act professionally. There was some good. The staff on the floor were friendly and polite. The selection is of course small due to the temporary relocation, but they did a great job focusing in on the key things you probably would need from a hardware store. Home Hardware also has a pretty decent selection of Christmas "stuff" including outdoor lights, Christmas tree decorations and wreaths. Home Hardware is a good local store that just needs to realize they chose to invite the public in and be retail store ...thus please be professional from entrance to exit.

It's a beautiful store since they recognized it! Great work homehardware fortmcmurray! I'd suggest finding room for a cart coral somewhere closer to the door. But only because people are lazy and will leave them in front of the exit. But that's not your guy's fault, customers are just super inconsiderate. The staff at this location was exceptionally friendly!

My husband and I were very disappointed with the service we recieved here. We were shopping around for paint to compare prices and quality and the young man at the paint desk was very unhelpful. He couldn't be bothered to help us. So my husband and I decided we were going to leave if this was the kind of service we were going to recieve. The boys name was something girlie. I can't remember the name. At a different time when we were purchasing molding we had a very pleasant exchange with a gentleman named Warren. He was very helpful and informative. Later when we were paying for the product we had a really bitchy cashier. She seemed distracted by one of her friends and seemed more interested in the conversation she was having with them then helping us. The name on our reciept was Amber. We generally like this store but with the customer service we have been getting since coming back from evacuation standards on employee hiring seems to be dropping.

I had the worst experience ever today and I have been coming to this place for years! Amanda in the paint department was the most rude person I have ever met in customer service ever! Aside from her throwing a book in our face and saying this is all we can offer then walking away to return to the two fellows she was having a grand visit with. She talked over top of us cut us off when we tried to explain what we were looking for in the first place. Not to mention being able to understand a word she said was near impossible. Then when we stood in line for her to finish her visit with the same two gentlemen. And ended up walking out with no help and no further ahead. I'm sorry for this review but I could not believe what just happened.

The plumbing selection is awful and I bought a few milwuakee batteries there and was made to feel very uncomfortable through the process of getting the cashier to unlock the case and then she informed me that she would hold on to them until I was done shopping or have a staff member follow me to the cash register I was like what the actual fu$%!!!!!

Went in looking for a Thermopile, walked around a bit found someone asked him where to find one and had the old one to show him; without saying one word he just pointed to a shelf then walked away.... The shelf only had thermocouplers which was not what I was looking for. Not mad they didn't have what I was looking for just very disappointed in the lack of care and service. I left and found what I was looking for elsewhere.
