The staff here are very nice but man does it take forever for your stuff to arrive if its special ordered. 3-6 weeks is insane and most stuff comes in on the 6 week mark. Also the return policies for electronic at the Canex is horrendous. I got a laptop from there, got it home, opened the box and the keyboard was broken. Guess what, they wouldn't take it back. Had to RMA it hack to asus Update: I cancelled my order after waiting 21 days and the staff still having no idea of whether my monitor shipped or not. My final time buying anything from the Canex.

This store is the absolute best, now I know that most people say that the prices are to high, but if you compare them with majority of the other stores out there they are pretty on par price-wise. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable about everything in the store. Anytime I've needed help finding exactly what I need they are quick to give me all the information I need to make an educated decision. Granted this store is really geared more towards military members, veterans, and their families, but really anyone can benefit in one way or another from this store. So if you ever happen to be near one, feel free to pop in and check it out.

As far as the Canex stores I have been to around the country I quite like this one. It has the usual selection but don't be afraid to ask if they can get other stuff in. I managed to get a great camera there once through the distributor on the Canex plan. Staff are nice and it is also great having the tailor and barber under the same roof.

It is a good size Canex. They have a great selection of furniture, appliances, and electronics. Their military/camping section is good as well. They also have a good turn around on the dry cleaning. All in all it is a good store and with tim hortons and the others in there, not a bad little mall.

Almost everything is above retail price. Return policy is a joke as unless you buy the extended warranty your on your own. It seems all they specialize in selling computers and TVs to people who live in barracks on a payment plan. Better off at Costco or Best Buy. Prove me wrong...

I went to get boots they didnt have my size and I couldnt order them in. I had to order online myself. Not a big deal but with the new canforgen they should have tonnes of boot sizes !! I know its bc it's on a navy base but there are lost of army people here but only have 3 pairs of boots to choose from :(

Worst online service ever. We ordered a air fryer online one of the store's employee said the the air fryer would arrive in 2 weeks but it haven't arrive in one month. Right now it still hasn't arrive yet. We emailed them but they wouldn't reply an we called them and they told us to email them. Another dumb thing is that they ship the order from some where else and not from the local store. If it wasn't for the discount We would have bought this from amazon. Canex has the worst employee's and we would never buy anything from this store again

Awesome store for a quick stop, super friendly staff always willing to help with questions. Great deals. I have found in many cases sine items are better priced than that of competitors. Military and ex military members get amazing deals. Apply for a family CFone card and save even more. Selection of items could be better but usually they have something for everyone.

While trying to order uniform parts online Canex offers free shipping Canex to Canex but when I picked my local Canex (or any Canex) they say they don’t ship there. I tried calling the store 3x but the phone rings into the abyss. So thanks for the shipping option, guess I’ll just pay the 12.00 to have it shipped to my house. I’m Just glad it’s not a bigger order.

Friendly staff. One of the cleanest, most organized Canex stores I have seen, and I've seen most of them across Canada. Great job to you guys and your team. Only thing that could have been better is some more probing to the reason of our visit. A few staff members walked by us including the store manager without acknowledging us.

I consider that’s bad business and will never order from them again.nobody at the Canex location in Esquimalt had any clue. I love the canex.. We have bought our furniture from there as well as a deep freezer, laptop and lawn mower! No conplaints on anything. When they have sales they are usualy fairly good, and staff is always friendly and VERY helpful. The canex is also a good place if you don't want to go too far to grab some milk or a nightime treat!
