I placed an order on January 29th and was told that it would take up to 3 weeks before my prescription eye glasses would be ready. It's now March 7th, and I still do not have them. I have called them twice, and they keep telling me that my glasses are delayed. Reaching them by phone is a nightmare; there's no direct line to call, the phone menu does not list the optical centre as an option, so the perfume department has been transferring to to them; the first time I called, someone hung up on me before saying hello, the second time no one ever picked up. I was redirected to the perfume department and I insisted that they find someone that I could speak to. When it finally connected, I was told about the delay and expect a call back the next week, that did not happen. So far, I'm really not impressed. I hope these glasses will be AMAZING, because I need them and it's been almost 6 weeks.

I am a regular customer and bought contacts and glasses every year for yearly supplies. I only asked for my glasses prescription, the optical lady said she needs ONE HOUR to send via email. We confirmed email on the phone. Then I had to call 4-5 times to Chase her down for the email that afternoon. After 3 hours, She still sent to a wrong email address. What a disrespectful way to waste my time!!! Terrible customer service.

We visit Bay including WEM one too, we always had good experiences in every location, but I think the associate named Ruby and the way she was serving us need to be addressed, she was very blunt and rude with us, the product we bought was discount item, at first the discount did not come, so my wife politely asked her to correct the price as it was wrong, she did it but was very unhappy when we pointed the price was wrong, she asked us to bring another of the same product but with very commanding and rude voice.this need to be addressed otherwise this kind of conduct will go on that is not good for any business.

My husband and I (and people we've referred) have been going to the Bay Optical in West Edmonton Mall for several years. They carry a good selection of quality frames, and Elaine and her co-workers are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, and go above and beyond to accommodate us. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

I recently bought a pair of new glasses as well there was a deal of buy one get one half so I was able to also get a new pair of sunglasses (there were specific ones that were apart of this deal). I received excellent service, they staff that helped me was super friendly; she took her time to help me find the right pair of glasses. Will definitely be coming back!
