I go to Talize probably once a week and always find great offers. Although I find somethings to be extremely overpriced because EVERYTHING is donated. I do like that they have a manager special everyday of the week which is usually 50% off and 10% if you are a student or senior. They have a wide selection of cloth from brands to sizes. As well as shoes. The place is covid friendly. All the staff are wearing masks or shield. Fitting rooms are open with one closed in-between each other. Carts are being sanitized. Bathrooms are open to the public.

Talize is great! I usually go there with my nana, because she lives near it. The prices aren't the cheapest, but we're okay with it because it all goes to charity. There are many change rooms, and a huge selection, of, well, everything. One thing I don't like is that the toy area isn't very tidy. All the toys are thrown on the floor, because of the little kids. I'm a kid, but I'm older. I do care, because I love toys. The staff should clean up the toy area more. Anyways, Talize is awesome! ~Raven C.

Quality stuff, and prices are pretty good. The price range is better than Value Village (which tends to be pricey) but not quite as good as some Salvation Army stores. The store is clean and the items are generally clean as well. If I need something random, like a picture frame of a specific size, or a painting palette, I will check here first--and chances are, I will find what I am looking for because the store is so large. It's fun to just browse, too.

Terrible service!!!!! My wife and I cleaned out our garage and I accidentally donated our daughters penny board by mistake. My wife called the shop first thing the next morning and explained the situation and asked if the manager on Duty, she said her name was Isha could find it. We explained the penny board was right on top of an open white box and Isha said numerous times that there was nothing she could do until the next day when they went through all the items. She made no efforts to even try. We have donated so many items over the years.....for free. They receive our merchandise, sell it to make profit and this is how we are treated. My wife called back again and requested Isha to give some sort of customer service and just take a quick look. My wife then drove to Talize and got the Penny board back. Horrible, terrible, deplorable service. We will never donate or shop at Talize ever again!!!!

I would consider this thrift store in the mid-tier price range - e.g. most clothing can be around $8-$13 whereas there are smaller household trinkets for $1-$4. Good quality and many branded items too. The main appeal for me is that their inventory is quite robust and diverse in categories. It can be overwhelming if you're planning to look through everything, but it makes for a great spot to repeatedly visit since you can almost always find something new.

Dishes are cheaper at any store about 60% or more from what I seen is way over priced, what I like to know what moron did they hire to be in charge of pricing ?? Big, fun, thrift location. Found some good t-shirts for $3 each, saw some were $2 and a big selection of jeans. My friend and I found a bunch of good stuff and left it in a cart but when we came back 10 minutes later, our cart was gone with all our good finds gone. We asked a store helper and they said that they thought it was an unused cart so they put all our stuff away :(. We found most of it back but couldn't find some things. I think this store has really good potential and this experience was theirs but also my fault.

Talize has a great and huge collection of clothes and CDs and even cooking pots and cutlery on sale. The store is clean and follows Covid protocols. I mostly buy clothing here. Their entertainment collection is limited to dated VHS and a few DVDs. For Your Info, the reason Talize is so big is that it was originally an indoor Safeway store that closed down in mid-1997.

Everytime i come they have a sale on different selected coloured tags on a section of store like garage, mens coats, dresses, ect.. Huge store with a massive selection of clothing. I’ve found that I always find something I like here - you find clothing items that either still have their original tags or those that are gently used. They certainly do better with their clothing selection compared to the likes of décor. I usually look at vases, wood décor, and baskets but I never find something decent here. There’s not much to rummage through (compared to Value Village, Salvation Army, etc). If you want to shop for clothes, you can probably find what you’re looking for here. Prices could be better (as in cheaper) but thrift stores these days are getting more overpriced anyway, unfortunately.

If you like to thrift, this is one of the best places to go to hunt. It’s also a place where you can still find a deal (I’ve noticed other thrift stores in the area are charging ridiculously high for second hand), especially in their book section. My problem is with how dirty it is. They also have a major problem with junkies coming in and hanging out in the bathroom all day. Since I usually have one or two children with me, I will no longer go here.

I have have visited this store for years and got some finds, however during my recent visit I was very disappointed with their prices. T shirts are $ 8.99! For used t-shirts! I found one that I had purchased new at superstore for $5.99 on sale brand new, but it was $8.99 at Talize. I would have bought more if the prices were more reasonable.

The books/home goods section is a bit small and not much to choose from. But talize is local to me so I come here often!

Talize is a fun thrift store that is similar to Value Village in size & layout, but the prices are SO much BETTER!! The staff at this location are always friendly helpful and kind. If you bring in a bag of donations, they give you a 5$ off coupon. They also have a loyalty points card. The clothing is arraigned By size and then color. They also have a special each day ( eg all Green tags are 50% off ) they also sometimes have an additional “flash sale” for an hour. This can add up to some real savings ! The toy section is really big. Compared to Value Village - the Toy bags are 5 x larger and average 4.99$ Plus, depending on the color tag of the day .... They have lots of Change rooms ( you can take up to 9 items ) and they have a unisex public washroom beside the Change Rooms. Both are Always very clean ! As an Ebay reseller, this is a great place. I only wish the book section was larger and better organized into categories. No big deal though- there is so much else to check out, I rarely even get to the books ! Also - check your receipt that you did get your discounts. They sometimes over look items. Open until 9 Mon - Saturday. Until 7 Sunday’s & Holidays. Located Nordel Way.

Huge store with good selection, sometimes great selection. Subtracting 2 stars because most of the clothing is ridiculously overpriced and I've seen dollar store glass and ceramics priced 2 to 4 times higher than retail. If I want an $8 t-shirt I'll get one at old navy.

I love shopping here it makes my day everytime I can get with my wife and go shopping for Christmas presents I got my nephew a shirt from here he said it was ok my wife buys all our household objects from here did you know if you come here and sit in there chairs all day they say nothing to you but one day I saw a citizen walk in and they sat down beside me and then I started a conversation with a very pretty woman my age(25) I fell deeply in love I took her to a bunch of fancy places but nowhere could make us feel as special as this store but one day I was waiting for her and I got terrible news my wife found out about the beutiful woman I was seeing and she got upset so I did the right thing and I had them introduce themselves to each other then became good friends now I have 2 wives!!!!! Happy days

This is a great thrift store with very nice staff. The first thing I noticed was that this store is massive. There were lots of staff around who were friendly and said hi and asked if they could help. I was hoping for some books but did not find any I was interested in. There are tons and tons of clothes and shoes. The store smells clean and fresh. I will be back for sure.

I used to come here once a week and leave with bags full and since mid 2019 every time I’ve walked in I’ve left empty handed because of the lack of items. It’s always seems like the same boring stuff. If you’re someone thats in your 20’s and likes to keep up with the current fashion and is a size S or M, you probably won’t have much luck here.

I went there for the first time to shop at Talize after doing search on internet. I picked up a tool and asked the cashier if I could return it for full refund if it didn't work. She said yes, you could. The tool was not working and I went back to return it. "Sorry, no refund but store credit", that what the manager said after hearing me arguing with the one sold the item to me.

Love this place!! Best thrift store in the lower mainland!! It's what value village used to be in the 90's!! Price have gone up a bit i noticed though. And it feel like the area has gotten rougher. But they have added a security guard so I feel at ease while shopping now.

If I could leave a no star review I would. First of all, I went to hopefully get newborn onesies and they were charging 4 dollars a piece for stained, old pieces. When I can go to once upon a child and get next to new for a dollar or two or an "off brand" thrift store. So after obviously passing up on that, we walked around (avoiding the toy section the best we could as everything was broken and there was liquid covering half of them) and ended up picking up a few things, one being an electronic (which we weren't entirely sure we wanted as we didn't know the return policy if it was broken) We got to the till, the young woman scanned our items and as we handed her our cash we said hold on a sec and asked what the return policy on broken electronics are. She put our money in the till(didn't close it) and told us in store credit only so my husband and I politely said sorry but we aren't interested in store credit and would like to take the item off our purchase, then she shut the till really fast and called the manager, then turned and said she will give us in store credit, we obviously said no as that was why we didn't want the item in the first place. The manager( who was on a different till) didn't even ask us the problem, took the bag and said in-store credit only, I told her we wanted our money back and she was extremely rude and wouldnt even hear me out on what actually took place. Long story short, don't bother shopping here unless you want broken overly priced items and horrible customer service. Pretty sad as I used to rave about this location. If you want to try talize, go to the Langley location, you'll be treated alot better and their items are in good shape :)

I have visited this store for years and just like it's Langley counterpart, I'm frustrated at the reduction in books, knick knacks and quality. The items put out would have been checked for condition, maybe you'd find vintage stuff, making practically anything you find a contender. Now, holes, pilling, stains.... shoes looking like they should have been thrown out. The real kicker is the prices! 5.99 for a children's tshirt? 7.99 for an Ardene tshirt? Maybe an everyday price for any and all and bring back the thrill of the hunt. C'mon guys, do better.

Evry thing in this rhrift shop is the same price as retail price or more when u buy new at the orginal store. I wouldnt shop here just because everything is used and donated. the store has no stroller access .i had to wait for some to come and remove one of the bars at the front door so i can get in with baby stroller. They make a lot of profit.

The lady working at the changing rooms is really racist, rude and has a terrible lazy attitude. She first told me to go in the changing room and then when I came out she started asking loudly “how did you get in there??!!,” “did you crawl in??!!” I was utterly disgusted by her behaviour. I don’t know if she has dementia or not. All I know is that no customer deserves this type of treatment.
