This store had a great selection of clothing, especially jeans of all colors and styles. The staff were all extremely helpful when I required assistance and left me to browse the store as I wanted without pestering me at all. I would definitely recommend coming here for construction or work related clothing, or even day to day casual wear.

Great to have this store open again. In this time of COVID, you're not allowed to try on anything. This was a challenge as I have recently lost 35 pounds and had no idea what size I was now. We were told we could bring back things that didn't fit. I went for it and when I got home every single thing I had guessed on fit perfectly. Got some great new clothes that fit at reasonable prices.

Marks has a good assortment of clothes including a great selection of work related stuff. They have pretty much everything you could need or want for casual day to day stuff as well. Staff are generally quite helpful and friendly. Stores are always clean and well organized. They seem to have sales pretty often as well, so it's not hard to find good deals on things like boots, or jackets.

I bought a pair of winter boots last month, in spite of the good reputation of the WindRiver brand, those shoes didn't last a month and I returned them today. They refunded me quickly with no headache. Apart from that deal, the rest of items I've bought from this store are pretty cool and valuable.

Mark's is a decent store they usually have the stuff I'm looking for. If you need help, it's often a challenge to get it because the staff tend to stay around the cash register area. That said, staff are always friendly and helpful, even if you have to find them. I've been in this town since Mark's was opened and I don't recall staff asking me if I needed help. The store is always clean and well maintained. Just got a really good deal on some new boots. Don't forget to use your Canadian Tire points card (Triangle Rewards) when you buy something. They have always been really good about returns and exchanges. Overall a good store, even if you don't get much care and attention from staff while you're looking for things.

Didn’t have a varied selection of sizes of style for fitness wear. Website said they carried xs - 4x and racks had medium and large only. Staff told me to put their hand sanitizer on, I said no thanks (it has Aloe in it- I have an allergy so I brought my own) and they argued with me about it. ????????‍♀️ They were organized with their people count and line up though.

They don't have enough staff and I would be bold enough to say they don't have any customer service at all. Disorganized ( goes back to not enough staff.) and the signage is very poorly displayed. This is the only Marks we go to, so I don't know if others are better. I suspect that customer service isn't their goal, their is a well grounded expectation that they aren't there to serve you. Perhaps a sense that they are doing us a favour. Marks does have some really great products but rarely do we buy because of the issues mentioned.

Tried to return an item and was refused by staff due to "smells of gasoline" on the item, which was never worn as it was too small. Other customers could not smell the gasoline, but regardless the staff rudely turn me away and refused to give me any further assistance, nor even an apology. Won't be shopping here again

Let me start by saying that the level of customer service at this store is amazing and gets five stars! Really outstanding! Unfortunately, the quality of some of their shoes is horrendous, in my opinion. I bought one pair of shoes and returned them within 48 hours to exchange for another brand and was happy to pay the difference ($10 I think). I had to wait 2 weeks for them to order my size - this didn't bother me. After wearing these shoes for a month, they split at one of the seams. I've had some other occasional beefs with clothing and am at the point, that i no longer feel that their higher prices are worth the quality of SOME (not al) of their products. But if you want to watch and be served by the amazing staff at this store, by all means go there!!! Just be prepared to pay high prices for some sub-par products.

Placed an early large Christmas order for my 3 sons coming from away. The order was shorted,( 3 items not sent) and one item came with the security tag. The reason for ordering online was to avoid the 2 hour drive into the city during Christmas. Their solution, a15% discount on my next order(really!!! Not spending any more of my money with then) and a free return envelope for the shirt, they have none to send in its stead, let alone complete my order!!! My solution... Shop elsewhere.....

I always go here for any workplace safety related Personal Protective Equipment, safety boots, hard hats, vests, etc. They have very good collection. Jeans are very good quality and reasonable price. Variety of shoes and clothes are available. I also look for sale price. Sometimes they have very good sale. This shop is located downtown close to other shops and grocery stores. Store size is big. They always keep stuff organized. Store is very neat and clean. Very good customer service. Staffs are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Lots of parking space including para parking. Recommend others to try this store.

Went to Marks Work Warehouse to buy something that was on a one day sale and when I got there no one working there knew what I was talking about. Finally after showing them the Hotmail I got telling me of the sale, one of the staff finally told me that it was in the back of the store and that he would be there in a minute to show me. Well he did finally come to the back of the store but I had already found it myself. I asked two of the employees if they had more of the sale items in the back, maybe another color in medium as there weren't that many mediums on the rack, well they both said that they would check. After waiting for quite sometime one of the young men came back and never had anything with him so I asked if he couldn't find anything in the back, he said that there were lots of boxes in the back but it was crazy back there and seemed to not want to find one. Then after awhile longer another guy came out and still nothing, when I asked him about the Jacket he said did I want another one and I said yes, as I had already told him that I did when he had gone to check. Anyways after waiting forever, the second guy brought me out another jacket in another color like I wanted. Though all thoughs problems I am happy about the price I had paid for the jackets that I had gotten onsale as it was a really terrific price.

Good selection of clothing. It's not junk clothing is of good quality and is fairly reasonable. I go there for just about everything. They lack in Jean sizing though they don't seem to have my size sometimes. They seem to cater to guys with big waistlines short legs. Unless they are all sold out of my size by the time I get there . Staff is helpful and friendly. My suggestions are to get sizes 30/34 and 31/34 pants more of it. Even 30,/33 sizes. They seem to have odd sizing in other jeans and pants.

We had an excellent experience shopping for safety footwear at the St. Albert location. We were assisted by a younger person named Damon who was able to answer all of my husbands questions about safety footwear. Not only did he assist, he continually followed up while we were shopping to make sure that we were finding what we needed. It is extremely refreshing to see a young person taking pride in their job and be so knowledgeable, as well as be proactively helpful. With his help we were able to confidently choose a pair of work boots that will be perfectly suited to my husbands needs. We hope that Damon gets the recognition that he deserves for going above and beyond to assist his customers!

Was here shopping for shirts with my brother and a female employee asked him to leave because she thought he was shoplifting. He never once touched any merchandise, wasn't wearing a backpack, hoodie or anything shoplifters usually use. He had a shirt and jeans and steal toes on. He was sitting in the change room on his phone next to mine because they were all wide open and he wanted to sit while I was trying on clothes. After I heard her yelling I changed back and looked out the change room and the employee apologized for having to hear that. God, you better be. I deal with shoplifters on a daily basis and she did not go about the situation in the right manner. There was 0 evidence of him trying to steal. She just started yelling at him. There wasn't even any product in the change room for him to steal or ripped off tags (I checked after I got out). He wasn't looking around to see if anyone was watching, he was just sitting. I am also aware this store is bad for shoplifters but you cant just kick out anyone who looks native. Do your job right or hire a loss prevention officer.

Not very impressed with the staff at the Parry Sound store. I’m from Squamish BC and my family and I were at our cottage for the month of July. I bought swim shorts for my husband, along with a few other items and SPECIFICALLY asked if the shorts could be exchanged for something else if my husband didn’t like them because he is very picky with shorts. The guy said no problem and gave me an individual gift receipt for them. Fast forward to today and I tried to exchange them. I had my five year old girls with me and they couldn’t figure it out, finally told me I couldn’t return because of it being in a buy one, get one free deal and told me they couldn’t help me. I offered to just grab a different colour short in same style or a shirt in the same buy one get one free deal and they said they couldn’t figure it out and wouldn’t do it. I wish the person I had bought them off had said that and not given me a specific gift receipt for them!

Prices can be expensive however Mark's makes up for this with all the different sales they have yearly, so always keep your eyes open for new sales that may pop up. Can't say I have ever walked into a Mark's and been impressed. Their gear is mass-produced and often stitched poorly enough to wear out within the year. Sales are often marked up first, several times I've walked in to see a previous 100 dollar item suddenly be on 'sale' 30% from 150. My ex-girlfriend bought a 300$ pair of work boots here once which subsequently lasted less than 6 months. Upon inquiry, not even partial store credit was offered for such a ludicrously low lifespan. Do yourself a favor and either get yourself Walmart gear for a third the price or invest in actual, genuine quality with a specialty retailer for often pennies on the dollar more than this Work WEARhouse. Big thumbs down. ????

another Marks kindly called to hold an item for me in a size unavailable anywhere else. It was a long drive away, and a hard to find store, but when I arrived it was NOT held for me. Luckily the item in the size I wanted was available, but it had been returned to the racks (if taken off at all). Staff seemed uninterested in my dilemma, and uninterested period. I LOVE Mark's clothing, but staff seems asleep ... thought there are a few exceptions, Evelyn in the Maple Ridge Store goes out of her way to help, and makes going to that store a delight. There are a few staff in that store that are special indeed.

It has a focussed selection of clothing, shoes and accessories and I know I'll be able to find what I need when I go there with a specific goal in mind. Only issue I have found is with their logoed t-shirts - they tend to shrink even when washed in cold which is too bad.

Mark's is always a great place to shop. There's always clearance prices and other sales like buy 1 get 2nd half price. I mostly love the buy 5 SCRUBS piece and get next for free (value under $45? Sorry I remember exactly the value) but it's a great deal! Customer service is pretty good too.

I bought the wrong boots. My mistake completely. The boots were great but they didn’t meet certain specific requirements for my work so after wearing them in class training for a few days I went For climbing spur fittings and was told I needed new boots. I told this to Michlyn at the front desk and she immediately wanted to help but it was not a typical return so she wanted to ask her manager. Wendy came to the front and i told her my situation. She was empathetic and made the exchange quickly. This was a great shopping experience I highly recommend this location.

Horrible. Straight up. There were three staff members in the store, one of whom was a cashier. The other two people were too busy with 15 other customers to answer my questions. The price of the item I was looking for was 3 times the price of the same item on Amazon and more than twice the price of the same item in another competitors store. Fail on all fronts Marks. Ordered online for in store pickup. The expected delivery was 4-8 days. I expected delays with holidays etc so 2 weeks later I go in to ask about it and I was told the package was in Burnaby so it should be really soon. After a few more days with no word I call and they say the same thing, but also give me a Loomis tracking number. Loomis says delivered Jan 4 (2.5 weeks ago), so I call back for a third inquiry. "Oh, it's here you can come pick it up". I asked why I didn't recieved notice and they said Loomis had some long delays, until I told them Loomis delivered over 2 weeks ago so they've had it the whole time. "Oh, sorry". Bottom line, their order department has no clue what's going on and would rather make excuses than accept fault. Don't bother using the online order for in store pickup.

I buy the same work pants almost exclusively from this store yet they never - NEVER have my size in stick. It's not some weird size. Just restock what you sell! It really pisses me off. ????

The manager David is very impolite and not helpful. When I went there yesterday to do a price adjustment. he did not seem to know the policies of Triangle World Elite Masktercard and treated me in a very unfriendly way. The worst thing is he kept claiming himself as manager and saying what his policy is instead of listening to me and actually show any effort to help me. Putting Mark's reputation down. It is a shame this David is the manager there and ruining this store's image. I have been to this location many times. I recommended my friends and family to go there too. now I have to back track and spread the word for this one person's negative attitude towards customers. Truly shameful.

I'm just happy to find a place that didn't sell clothing exclusively from Bangladesh (*cough* Sears *cough*). It's not that I am against children working in factories. It's just that, children do a lousy job and their clothes cost more, and last only a few weeks. Maybe if they would hire adults, their quality would be better. So if you want clothes made in China or India, go to Marks.
