Hey guys. Thanks for the response. You didn't miss the mark by much. Your store has tons of product and mostly at a good price. At Halloween you can't be beat. My issue is going in the off-season and wading through the aisles looking for a few specific things. It wasn't busy, yet it took me 20 minutes to find someone to help me learn you didn't carry a product. Just a little more ready service and this 3 would be a 4 or a 5 in no time.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Upon arriving to the Milt Stegal location to pick up a balloon order, I was ignored by 3 staff members. I waited at the balloon counter for 5 minutes after asking a staff member for help. He eventually paged the balloon sales clerk who was extremely rude. She filled 2 orders before mine that were said to be picked up the NEXT DAY! I waited patiently. When she had filled my balloons, she put them in a bag that she said would be extra charge. I was not even shown the finished product before she packed it up and handed it to me across the counter. She then went on to claim that I did not give her the order slip and she couldn't give me the balloons until she had it. I mentioned that her colleague had put it beside her while she was working. At cash out the staff member didn't say ONE WORD! She was walking around the store then walked to the register when she saw I was waiting to pay. She didn't speak at all and then handed me my receipt. This morning both balloons are FLAT! I've ordered these before and they last 2 weeks before going flat. I am so disappointed. What a waste of time and money. Never returning to this location again.

They have an amazing array of party supplies. If you are planning a themed birthday this is the place to go. However items are not cheap here, I would love to purchase more but the fact is if you want to go all out for a themed birthday decorations will cost you hundreds. The Rent it side is good, haven't had any issues other than the fact that the guys that work in the warehouse part are a bit rude.

I have few suggestions about curbside pickup. I picked up my stuff today, the man asked us to lower the window! This is not CONTACTLESS PICKUP! 1. Customers can provide vehicle make and model when you call. And you can write down on the order sheet. 2. Customers can prepare their id and show to the man inside the car! NOT OPEN THE WINDOW! 3. OR Customers can write down their name and address on a paper and just show the man inside the car. And he can just put everything in the trunk!

I visited Party Stuff / U-Rent-It in December 2018 when I was looking for some last-minute costume accessories. I had no idea this place existed until I googled it. The location isn’t very far from the Lee Valley Store and La-Z-Boy in St. James. The Party Stuff store had lots of accessories for costume whether you’re dressing up as a mobster, pirate, police officer, etc. They also have lots of party supplies if you’re planning something for a bachelorette, New Year’s celebration, child’s birthday party, etc. Their supplies can be pretty expensive for what you get, but if you need something for a costume in a pinch, this is a good local place to go.

If you can't find what you really want for your party at the dollar store, you can shop here. Although it has everything for any party you can think of (wedding, baby shower, Halloween, birthday...) It is very expensive. The $1 plastic table cloths at the dollar store are over $5 here. Exact same brand. It's also very cramped. The aisles are too small and stuffed. I really like their helium balloon service though. Easy to order and pick up and the prices are okay.

Went in to purchase some party supplies and rental equipment. The snotty girl behind the rental counter made several mistakes on the order and overcharged me. She became extremely defensive when it was pointed out and threw away my original map and order for the party rental equipment. I did not receive an apology just pure attitude. The cashiers are way more helpful and the warehouse guys were extremely courteous and friendly. I probably would have given more stars but the impolite one behind the counter ruins it for everyone else who has great inter personal skills. I doubt I will be back in the future.

4* for service. Went to order items to rent for a dinner party. All items listed on line is diplayed. Various styles of plate settings, cutlery, glasses, napkins and linen of various lengths and more. All items on display is shown on a price list to help with decision making. Reasonable. Rental is only made by even 12. Ex if you need 50 plates you have to order 5 dozen (60) Very helpful staff. Delivery and pickup price is reasonable. 1* for dishes/cutlery: Upon delivery, all glassware in good condition. Plates and cutlery were not ideal. The silver trim on the Artic plates are very light and worn as the glaze was also worn down in spots/areas of several plates where the food is plated on.The cutlery, alot of the pieces have black spots. I believe when renting, product should be the same as the samples in the show room. The plates, a refund was in order as this was unacceptable for a celebration. I decided to purchase 30 of my own plates the night before the party. Thankyou home sense*5

What I like do is rent plates. When catering for a big company, I can borrow them and return them dirty. I always get the insurance home St incase one breaks. You can also rent cutlery and glasses.

Placed an order for balloons and a helium tank rental for my sister's baby shower. We were given a pickup time which ended up being after hours. Next morning went to pick up our balloons and they were still not blown up. Was told we would have to wait approximately 1 hour because of walk up customers. Annoying but what can you do. Got the balloons and tank and went home. On Monday, the day we were to return the tank, I received a phone call from the rental department informing me that if the tank wasn't returned by 4pm my credit card would be charged for another day. Only problem with that is I was at work and unable to go, and on my bill it stated drop off time was 5:30pm. However, they had taken my copy of the bill upon pickup. Made rushed arrangements to return the tank and was handed back my original bill with the 530pm drop off time circled. It made an already busy weekend even more stressful. Will not be returning to this location.

I rarely leave reviews but I had such sensational service from this business. I'm from Selkirk and had a over the hill birthday to celebrate on the weekend. A bunch of us thought the other person was doing the decorations and it ended up that none of us were. I called and the woman on the phone took a long time with me to make sure they had everything I needed before I headed into the city. It was incredible. Got there and it was all ready to go. This place is a joke!!! I called to see if they had specific items and the girl on the phone said they had the items but they were on sale and in the warehouse, and apparently because I called on a Saturday no one in the warehouse works on weekends so she told me to come on Tuesday, so I did, only to find they didn't have anything. I called to inquire about renting items for an event and was told the rental department was busy at the moment. I left my info for a callback as suggested by the person that answered the phone. 2 hours later I did not recieve a call so I called again and the same lady answered stating "they're still busy" and that I would be called back "today for sure". Needless to say I did not receive a callback that day. Not sure how many hours it takes to callback a potential customer when told they would. If I could give 0 stars I would. I eventually brought my business elsewhere. If the rental business is so busy maybe you should look into hiring a person fulltime dedicated soley for the purpose of returning customers phone calls.

The rude and incompetent customer service will ruin your party before it even begins. Tried to rent some chairs for an outdoor party from this outfit. Simple, right? Quite the contrary. First of all, they had me submit all of my information online (name, address, phone, email, etc) in order to get a quote, but when I called them, they requested the same information again, and I had repeat ALL of it. What was the point of collecting my information online? Then, the person I talked to kept asking for a second phone number, and I kept telling her that, like most people, I only have one phone number. She wouldn't budge. In the end, I told her to put down her own phone number if she needed it submit a form. Seems like the staff that take phone calls cannot use common sense and deviate from the script when necessary. Renting from Party Stuff was going to be a bad experience, so I went with another vendor. Will not be dealing with Party Stuff again.

Ordered pipe and drap for our biggest event of the year and when the lady called mid afternoon to confirm my order was ready for pick up she failed to tell me the rental department closes early so when my husband went to go get it we were declined the rental. Had we known it closed early we would have made arrangements to pick it up earlier. This put a huge monkey wrench in our setup. Will be using another company moving forward. Very disappointed.

Pretty much anything you need for your gathering. Be it a child's birthday or you just want to have a themed event. They have are the decorations for it. And they also sell confetti cannons. Who doesn't need one of those for their party!

I got 7 balloons delivered to my place. The lady said that these stays good for a week. 4 hours out and one of the balloon is out of helium already!! Poor service. I bought it for my girlfriend’s birthday, how would it look without a pair of star balloons.
