The place is wore out. we enjoy going as there is no other options but money needs to be spent on it......notice a few seats missing or covers on them as they are broken. I also had to go see someone as it was Showtime one night and nothing was on the screen yet. They didn't know so there is problems with equipment or staff ?

Needs updating. Seats are uncomfortable and often broken. Bathrooms are clean but many stall doors are broken. Box office is never open, which is really annoying when you don't want to buy food but have to wait in those lines anyways because you can't redem vouchers at the self serve kiosks.

We went on a rainy weekday afternoon, which was a blessing considering there is only one cash and one booth to buy tickets from. The auditorium had few seats, which was nice because it left a lot of leg room, but I can't imagine what it's like on a busy day. I'm giving it two stars for the following reasons. First of all, the screen was tiny and blurry. Secondly, the sound was very low and the walls are paper thin. We heard more of the action movie playing on the screen next to ours than of the movie that we paid for.

Went there a couple of times. Thought it was odd that only three or four front rows in each auditorium were stadium style while all the others behind them were on a slope floor. Glad to hear it's geting renos though.

Went to this theater for the first time tonight and it was an easy and enjoyable experience. Comfy seats and very clean. They didn't have popcorn tonight(they usually do, we order it online sometimes) but I probably don't need the calories anyway! Would recommend.

I believe they switch out movies too fast in this location as well as the stopped advertising titles outside their door and parkimg lot sign, which is disappointing while you are waiting at a red light. Instead you have to pull out your phone and get ticketed for distracted driving.

Relatively big cinema for a small town, so it wasn't surprising how empty it was inside, even on the weekend. Visited in the early spring and I found the cinema to be surprisingly chilly inside, although the same might feel nice in the summer - bring a jacket either way. Washroom was clean and well-maintained. Entrance is ground level and everything appears to be accessible. Drinks and snacks are overpriced, but that shouldn't surprise anyone.

This theater is decent, although it is the only one in town so there isn't much for selection. Old projectors, so the picture quality is okay but not the best. No IMAX obviously. They have free refills on large drinks, so that's a plus... Until you need to get up halfway through a movie to use the washroom LoL

It needs a complete renovation. It needs a breathe of life and a change in perspective.. Don't think anyone really cares about your experience. Get in, get out and get on your way. I know a few people who work there and they greet me with a positive smile and hello, but that's because I know them. An Idea I have thought up, would be to convert the two smaller theatre rooms into an aldut only type theatre. Drink service, leather chairs, WITH ACTUAL LEG ROOM. I would pay a good sum, to have an experience like this.

Pretty crappy theatre when you are used to going to the movies in a larger city. Often very cold so wear layers. Prices are pretty ridiculous considering what you get.

I went to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi on opening night. After the previews finished, the screen went dark and nothing happened until someone told the staff that nothing was happening. After replaying the previews, it worked . . . until the climax of the movie. The lights kept turning on and off in the theatre and then the movie just cut out. They never fixed it so I don't know how the movie ends. I got a free pass to see a movie in the future so that earns them a star. Last year, I went to see Batman vs. Superman and the movie's audio didn't work so I didn't get to see that one either. I only see 2 to 3 movies a year and it seems like whenever I go to this theatre there's always an issue. If you go to this cinema, keep your fingers crossed.

Seeing as your the only movie theater in town. We will attend latest movies. But as far as refreshments are concerned it's a real rip off..Over 4$ for a bottle of water and the popcorn does one think you could sell it or deliver it at theses prices.Its only popcorn..If you can give senior discounts to movie goers why not at the concession..We seniors have a hard enough time with grocery prices..You give us good incentive to bring our own snacks and by pass your exorbadent snack prices

I have been to the cinema a few times since the renovations. Please do something about your popcorn. It is dry and hard with lots of little crumbs and shells even after it’s freshly popped. Maybe you have the heat turned up too high.

Good theatre. However, I was sick from the butter on the popcorn one time and there is not a huge selection of movies. I would love if they actually showed stop motion movies and some 2d stuff as most theatres do. Other than that, the food is good, staff is friendly and seats are comfortable.

Being from Calgary I know that you’re allowed to bring your own non alcoholic beverages in to theatres but seeing how busy it was here I’m there concession stand is the only way they make money…explains the crazy high prices…good popcorn…another thing couldn’t find what premiere seating/tickets meant on atom(app for landmark) or there website or and help/fact section…not worth the money just a rocking chair and a table.

Went to watch a movie recently and the screen we were watching the movie on had a big mark covering mid left lower of the screen. During bright scenes it was clearly visible and made for a hard to ignore view during the entire duration of the movie.

If you don't use 'atom', be very careful of your time allowances. The service here can be a little overwhelmed, sometimes being forced to wait up to 30 minutes in the line. Obviously, being a cinema, be ready to pay $25, minimum, for your snacks and drinks. They do, support many passable deals and promotions.

Much improved since the upgraded seats. Checking for covid shots and ID is terrible and almost makes me not want to go. Pre-purchase tickets and your snax online is the way to go. It'd be 5star if popcorn and pop wasn't so overpriced. More food choices should be offered.

Saw the new it movie and people couldn't stop talking the entire movie even when told to shut up numerous times and people contuniously on their cellphones and feet on the seats. When we confronted the so called manager she said they couldn't do anything.... Like excuse me I just spent 50 dollars to enjoy a movie with my wife and you give me that piss poor excuse like that. Next time I'll pirate the movie and stay at home or wait till it comes onto DVD never going back this is the third time this has happened.

I really want to try hard and give this place more than three stars but the truth is I was contemplating whether I should Give It 2 or 3. For a city the size of Cranbrook it's great to have a theater that has so many Theatres in one place but the problem is that the place is continually getting more and more run down, there's popcorn and stuff all over the place and the theaters themselves could really use a little bit of Maintenance and TLC. I've had a couple of experiences with projector and sound issues as well. This could be common occurrence when it comes to theaters in your home town because in all fairness I visit this Theatre way more than any other theaters. I'd really like to see them fix it up a little bit and get the cleanliness and maintenance under control. They have an arcade area which is pretty much closed all the time so I wouldn't count on that if you're looking for a place to go play some arcade games.

The new seating is so comfortable. Social spacing, as is expected these days. I was sorely disappointed the one visit where the popcorn machine was down. Movies at home have been the norm but nothing can beat the big screen for action scenes.

My night. Used a gift card I got for Christmas. 26$ and some cents. Got large popcorn and a large drink. Popcorn was burnt and not up to par. 20 mins left of Star Wars The Last Jedi. The lights turn on and stay on for 3 mins. Lights turn off. 2 mins later the sound goes and the screen. Then the movie started to work but no sound and missed about 5 minutes of important stuff. The whole movie was made for the last part of Skywalker. But instead the full theater of people got screwed over. But hey here is a free 12$ free general admission ticket to any movie but you have to spend another 16$ on popcorn and drinks. And 5 of us had to go to the front and tell the manager and they can't do anything. So we missed the final part of the movie . The whole night ruined. And I really wish I was lying . Only 5% of the people will ask for a refund. So they don't care

Had a decent lineup/sized theater for a smaller town. We watched Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom on opening night and there was a good amount of space. Seats were relatively comfortable and there was a good amount of leg space. Screen was smaller than what we were used to - recommend sitting about 1/4-1/3 of the way up.

We booked tickets online following the new covid protocols in advance. We were able to refund tickets up to showtime. The night before our daughter was sick and we decided that it would not be a good idea bringing a sick 2 year old to the theater. There was no cancelling feature online and in order to get a refund I would have to drive 1.5 hours with my sick daughter in order to go to the ticket booth in person to get a refund. Landmark theaters said same thing. I will continue to tell everyone I know not to book in advance as they have worse cancellation policies than airlines.

Seats are probably the most disgusting uncomfy things ive ever witnessed. Half the speakers do not work in the cinemas either. Wont be coming back until its worth what they charge. Onnneeeeeee staarrrrrrrr!!! Update. 4 years later we got new seats and new floors. Not sure about the speakers but things are pretty decent minus the fact they don't clean the seats, kinda odd.

My son went to the show with a $30 gift card last weekend. He bought 1 ticket and 1 drink. He said he got a $5 bill back. What? Is a drink $13 if a ticket is $12? I don’t understand how 1 ticket and 1 pop adds up to $25!? What a rip off!

As of October 5th 2019, They have completely renovated the whole theater and it is a much better experience. The seats are Awesome, recline a little and you have lots of leg room. Much better experience. Would recommend.

My biggest complaint is the price of movie tickets, but I know that's just the cost of living. I came during a matinee to see the new grinch movie in its final week so there was maybe a dozen people in this particular room. The quality of the movie was good, and the sound was just loud enough the conversation of the girls sitting behind me was mostly drowned out. It was relatively clean but I think staffing is an issue for them, since the box office is usually closed and the signs telling you what movies are available outside the mall aren't updated. The staff i did encounter were friendly though

Love the renovations though when the seats go back I can’t reach the floor so then I can’t lean back! Everything seems cleaner and comfier. I also appreciate that they tend to bring in a 3D and regular version of popular movies. Makes it nicer for those of us who can’t watch 3D.
