Love this shop. The staff are always so friendly and they have some great stuff on sale usually. Cool yeti products, hammocks by ENO, slacklines, climbing gear, and even kayaks! Along with all the usually stuff like clothes boots and glasses. You will find something great here!

This is a such a great store! They have a great selection of items for outdoor activities, such as hiking and climbing. The best thing about this store though is their customer service. They have incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable staff.

A Cranbrook Institution! Our go to spot for livin' that Kootenay life. I've been going there since I was but a wee little lad, and have always had excellent experiences. The staff and owners are always very friendly, super knowledgeable, and really care about helping you get exactly what you need for your next adventure. If you're local, you already know. If you're just passing through, definitely pop in and check them out!

I'm frustrated that this store isn't open evenings like MEC. Most people work during the day. I spend a couple grand a year and it would stay local if the merchants would be open at night.

Great outdoor store in Cranbrook. They carry quality brands and usually have lots of sizes. Only downside is if you have limited mobility it does have an upper level with stairs.

Very professional, friendly and efficient service - I can highly recommend High Country Sports. We were looking for a particular snowshoe and High Country was the only store to still have stock available. After a phone call and a few emails Iain posted them to us and we received them after a few days. The service we received from Iain was absolutely superb - he kept us in the loop all the time.
