Places like this should be all over all the cities to have those of us who have things to recycle and by the same token they become treasures for others. why am I not giving five stars to this place then? The staff rude and unpolished. Management if you're reading this I think you need to circle around in the stores and make sure that there is a standard response and some basic customer service training it will encourage people to come and utilize facilities like this a lot more often.

Super large store and every time I go they've made improvements to the circulation flow so it's easier to find what you might want. Quality always depends on what's there at any time but there's a large assortment to look through and treasures to stumble on once in a while. Great for finding items for costumes or one off needs.

This is a great place to pickup vintage clothing (or technology) and indirectly contribute to helping out the less fortunate. Make sure you contribute something that can be resold before going in and buying stuff at what amounts to be vintage pricing. For the most part, items are well organized and well presented. Some items are priced way to high and others way too low. When buying sports equipment make sure items with expiry dates (like helmets) are still “legal”. This place can get quite busy at times. And realize that for some, this is the only place to purchase goods at a reasonable price.

Ah, thrifting! A guilty pleasure for some, a lifestyle for others. A source of costumes/props for the theatre set, a way to fill out the Corelle bakeware set you inherited from granny, even a source of decent artwork for the patient thrifter. This place ticks all the boxes. We'll laid out, as organized as such stores ever get (don't set your expectations too high!), and brimming with hidden treasures to reward the patient. They also haven't (yet!) succumbed to the "we think we're really an antique store" pricing of the similar, but vastly inferior, Salvation Army store close by in NDG. Definitely worth a visit or twenty :-)

This store deserves a negative 5 stars.! I really dislike this store. I do not believe a store that is GIVEN used products should be selling things close to their original value and in some cases more than. I only purchase stuff there if I have NO CHOICE but to. To make matters worse, you cannot return a product, but you can exchange for in-store "credit". This is taking advantage of low income people who depend on second hand stuff. If they over charge you for products and you return it, they make you wait for a manager who has to check their camera to be sure you purchased the item you say you were over charged for. My poor mother spent 20$ on something and it's original value was 17.99 . The store asked me to come back again the next day to INQUIRE about a refund ????

The store is good but I did not have a good experience with one of the managers (Mr. Martin). I purchased some items from this store. After I paid, i forgot to get all of them and one item was left at the counter. When I came home, I realized that, that item is not in the bag. I went back after two days to get that, but the manager Mr. Martin refused as I did not bring the bill. The other day, I found the bill and went back to get the item. This time there was a professional manager who handled the case by watching the camera records if that item is mine or not and it was mine. I am writing this post the big boss of this store to tell him/her that some of the managers in this store do not know their responsibilities and can not treat their customers well. I am extremely disappointed from Mr. Martin who could not handle the case and it made me spend some money on gas to drive multiple times to this store just for the same of a 5-dollar item. I did so, not because of the value of the item, but to prove it to the manager that the item is mine and he refused to give it to me while he could easily check that. BUT he did not.

This is quite a big Renaissance, and theyve got lots of clothes, but the overall organization of the store leaves something to be desired. At other locations, theyve got signs indicating what different sections are, but this place had no such designations as far as I saw. Often, items seemed to be strewn haphazardly around the shelves. Maybe since this store is often quite packed with people, it has become difficult to keep the place well organized. Selection of fiction books is not great.

This store deserves a negative 5 stars.! I really dislike this store. I do not believe a store that is GIVEN used products should be selling things close to their original value and in some cases more than. I only purchase stuff there if I have NO CHOICE but to. To make matters worse, you cannot return a product, but you can exchange for in-store "credit". This is taking advantage of low income people who depend on second hand stuff. If they over charge you for products and you return it, they make you wait for a manager who has to check their camera to be sure you purchased the item you say you were over charged for. My poor mother spent 20$ on something and it's original value was 17.99 . The store asked me to come back again the next day to INQUIRE about a refund ????

This review is for the Montreal west branch (right next to A & W). I bought some nice sweaters here . Most of them second hand or third hand. but you wont find nice sweaters all the time but just keep checking. You like music? They have tons of CD’s and tv shows dvds . You like reading? they have tons of books. You like decorating? they have tons of posters and picture frames. You need toys for kids ? they have tons . Just be careful because the place , like walmart, is not well ventilated. So your eyes may feel bitter a few seconds (probably because of the dust as well from most of the items) after heading out the store.

They stole 35 dollars from me. I have been shopping here for 10+ years and donating as well. I had some items to return (due to not being able to try on anything in store, I purchased and took them home to try on) but got quarantined within the seven days return policy. I had previously seen, on two separate occasions, a manager allow a return that was late as long as all the items still had their tags and there was a receipt. I was three weeks late due to being sick and quarantining and the manager who I spoke to wouldn't even let me speak, constantly talking over me and being incredibly rude. I had all items tagged and my receipt as requested. I had also just donated three large bags of quality items. They essentially stole 35 dollars of mine as I had no need of the items that I could not return. All I would've been allowed to do was exchange them anyways. I refuse to ever buy or donate to this terrible store ever again.

They sell used items almost everything mostly clothes dress for men women and kids. Sometimes you may find new stuff. Prices are definitely low but sometimes they marks overprices also specifically in the electronics item. I think it is due to the lack of knowledge of some employees who has no idea about the price of backdated electronics. However due to a big renovations they increased the price in general. Sometimes you may find valuable item with very low price.

We love shopping at Renaissance. The store is large, with a wide array of goods, including brand names and one-of-a -kind items. They have all sizes, from very small to extremely large.
