While I did go dress shopping at a few traditional stores I knew from the start that I did not want to spend more than $1000 on my wedding dress. That being said, I also love lace and full skirts, and I didn’t want to shop online without seeing the fabric in person so off to The Dressy Attic I went! The sisters who run this consignment dress business are the absolute sweetest. I brought 4 people with me and we had a lovely area set up with comfortable chairs/couches, a changeroom, and perfectly positioned mirrors to see every angle. They were so patient and let me try on at least 10 dresses. The dress I ultimately chose had the softest tulle and such a beautiful cascading lace design and was well under budget. The Dressy Attic has now moved from Abbotsford to Chilliwack and is absolutely worth the drive!

I recently purchased my wedding dress from The Dressy Attic and it was such a positive experience, especially for someone who does not like being in the spotlight, and really hates trying on clothes. The owners are beyond kind and very attentive to what works and does not in your appointment. In addition to the dresses I had requested to try during my appointment, I was pleasantly surprised by the other lovely choices they brought up for me, based on what I had liked or disliked. They were also very open and non-judgmental about my choice to have a non-traditional dress. Even though this shop was very far out of the way for me, it was well worth it and I would have made another trip back if I wasn't successful in my visit. I honestly can't recommend this place enough!

As a consignor, this shop has been wonderful to work with! Making an appointment to have my dresses evaluated was easy and they were very helpful in examining their policies and procedures. I've now sold three dresses here and would reccomend them to sell your gently used wedding/special occasion dresses. If I'm looking for a wedding or special occassion dress I would definitely make this my first stop. I love being able to choose from a pre-loved collection.

This was the best experience I have had trying on wedding dresses and I have frequented 6 other bridal stores across the Lower Mainland. The owners have an excellent selection of dresses that are all in great condition. They are able to pick out dresses for you that look amazing. Also, the owners are so lovely to be around and their store has such a soothing and bright ambiance. If you want to support a family business, and are looking for an affordable wedding dress, make an appointment asap!

I dropped off my nearly new wedding gown at the Dressy Attic for consignment. The sister duo were super responsive to my initial email inquiries and they provided all the information about consignment up front which was really helpful. They have a huge selection of gorgeous wedding and special occasion dresses. I will definitely make a trip out to Chilliwack the next time I need an evening gown. The team there are super lovely people, and their shop is set-up inside their beautiful character house, so it had a warm, inviting atmosphere which was really nice. Thank you!

Beautiful consignment setup, run by a couple of very lovely ladies! I really enjoyed my dress shopping experience at the Dressy Attic, the ladies were friendly and sweet, and I felt no pressure at all. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you're in need of a wedding or prom dress! (Even if you don't find anything you absolutely LOVE on their website - remember that dresses always look different in real life than they do in person! I didn't fall in love with anything on their website, but I made an appointment anyways to try a few dresses on, and ended up leaving with a stunning dress that I absolutely love and am SO excited about!)

What a great idea for used dresses. Fair prices. I liked the appointment sessions. We didnt feel rushed at all. The lady helping us was so friendly even with my 2 extra kids being a bit loud and annoying. I would 100% recommend them if you are looking for a dress. My daughter found her perfect prom dress.

I am so happy I made the drive out to Abbotsford to visit The Dressy Attic. I was a little hesitant to purchase a used wedding dress but I am glad I came here instead of looking at individual dresses on Craigslist or paying full price at a bridal store. I was able to look online at all the selections so I had an idea of dresses and price ahead of time (something which you can't get a traditional bridal stores) and they had all the dresses picked for me before I arrived. They were very accommodating even after I was 45 minutes late for my appointment due to traffic. The girls were super helpful and were patient while I tested out the dresses from every angle and even tried a couple on again (making her lace up the back for a second time- sorry!). Prices were very reasonable and they even had some new dresses to choose from. I was excited with my choice which had a bustle already included (something I would have had to pay more money for elsewhere) and they even cleaned it for me for free. I am thrilled to have found a dress $1000-1500 cheaper than I would have had to pay elsewhere. They even offered to accept the dress back on consignment after my wedding. I would recommend The Dressy Attic to anyone looking to save money for their wedding (and they also sell prom dresses!). I will be going out again to look at veils when the wedding date comes closer.

Amazing experience from start to finish, the whole process was smooth from initial contact. They make shopping through the gowns on the website ahead of time so easy, and know their dresses well enough to be able to pull alternates during the appointment. Ended up in a dress I never would have given a second look to, opposite of what I had "wanted", and loooved it all because of an eye for what would look good on their customers! Very cute boutique styled store run from their home. It is decorated so well, you feel like you're in a bridal salon. Only complaint is I tried on a dress that smelled so badly of sweat that I felt sick. I wish they dry cleaned the items.
