Great hand made toys, lots of unique other toys that I don't see in the big stores. Very friendly staff and a couple of bunnies as well. There are some things to do outside for the kids though the play equipment is dated.

Lots of unique gifts and toys, that you don't see anywhere else. A must stop if you have kids, or are a kid at heart!

Interesting place to make a quick stop. Some nice homemade toys; however, you'll pay for it. Example, a plastic pirate ship from Walmart will cost about $30-$40. The wooden handmade equivalent here will be $80-$90. In the yard, there are a few animal statues that kids may enjoy.

There is a workshop in the back kids can watch through a window. They assemble wooden toys. The shop is small and has toys and trinkets you could commonly find at most children's toy shops. The weirdest thing: creepy high fantasy female fairy statues everywhere. Scantily clad in various poses, looking as if plucked from an adult fantasy novel. To me these have no place in a children's toy store. Yet 1/4 of the store seems dedicated to these statues.

We always stop here whole in PEI, kids love this little toy store and there are many things here that you can't find anywhere else along with handmade wooden toys.

Cute shop the owners are very nice. Alot of cool toys i havent seen anywhere else. Alot of different types of toys. So many wodden toys made by the owners. My son loves the ball and cup game he bought. They even made a little wodden car. Also fun fact this little shop supplied toys for The Santa Clause movie.

What a gem. This is a wonderful toy store on the drive from Charlottetown to Cavendish. A great assortment of things from fairy villages to hand made wooden toys. They carry the high quality toys at reasonable prices. A good section of dragons and elf's/fairy's too

We went here end of May, before tourist season. They have a wonderful selection of wooden toys and crafts that you don't see anywhere else. The lady (who I think must be the owner) was very helpful and friendly. She gave us a free metallic my little pony craft for us to try without us asking! There's also an opportunity for kids to try and make their own wooden toys in the workshop area but unfortunately we visited too early for that. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

This is an awesome place to come to! I was going to buy the light up Tetris blocks, but the lady working was very honest with me about how they didn't work very well. I really appreciated her honesty so I didn't end up wasting money on them. She has a wicked awesome sense of humour too! I also really enjoyed visiting Emily and Charlotte, the bunnies. Because of my wonderful experience here, I will definitely be a returning customer when I'm back on the island.

Very friendly staff who know their stuff. If you want to learn about toys, hear some inspirational stories, and maybe even visit a fairy garden, check this place out. Carries quality and unique toys as well as some cool gifts, books, and novelties. The owners craft their own line of wooden toys which you can buy in the store, and they even run programs where kids can design their own toys. Even though I visited just as they were closing, I had a good conversation, tour of the workshop, and visit to the fairy garden. Highly recommended!

A cornacopia of educatiomal and fun children's toys, a plethora of statues of fairies and dragons and the best ice cream, pirates bounty. Salted caramel and black licorice. I assure you, it and the store are a must.

Interesting spot with a really diverse selection of items. I had never been in before and anticipated it being more wooden toys for children only, but there's really a huge selection for all ages. It's pretty well laid out and easy to walk through. Lots of little things to stop and look at as you go. The only odd thing for us is that we didn't see staff the entire time, and we were in there for about 15 minutes. There was a bell if we were so inclined though! Neat spot overal, I would absolutely recommend stopping in

Great little shop for kids but watch them carefully and don't bother coming if you need a wheelchair or stroller it's very crowded and if anything was bumped into you would be yelled at for sure.

What a great toy store! They carry various brands of toys but are also known for the wooden toys that they make right on site. If you have a young child, the staff will help them make their own wooden car or magic wand. If they choose the car, they get to pick the number that is burned onto the hood and both doors. They’ll also add a licence plate & your child’s name. A great keepsake from your PEI vacation. The staff are very friendly and the owner is very passionate about toys. Definitely worth a look if you’re in the area.

Your factory is amazing ! I go to Prince Edward Island every summer with my husband and daughters and one of my daughters inperticularly loves the fantasy figurines ! She has a gigantic tub full of them at our home in NH ! Thank you for giving her the experience to love and play with those dolls .

As a kid (around 2005) this toy store was my favorite place of all time, we got a cool castle that we still have to this day. I fondly remember begging my parents to take me to the toy store every time we went to the island, they had some nice bunnys to greet you. Not sure if they are still there but it was really cool. If you have kids and in the area check it out! Might be a little pricey but it's a cool place to visit

There is a beautiful little ferry garden to walk through, it has so many thing to see. Inside is a kids dream come true even if your an adult you will be sure to see something to your liking. Kids have the opportunity to make their own toy. There are so many things to see.

Coolest toy store EVER. Super kid friendly, I put my baby on the floor to play with all the wooden toys, and they had dolls and dollhouses out for kids to 'play-test', which my daughter loved. Easily killed an hour there and brought home a bunch of stuff.

This is a shop full of treasures! Each shelf is populated with toys, games and figurines that would be difficult to find anywhere else. This includes a massive variety of faerie sculptures. It's more than just a toy store, though; it lives up to its name with a workshop in back that hosts toy making classes. The outside of the shop is even more playful and whimsical than the toys within, including gnomes, animals, and fairy tale characters dotting the outside of the building, a playground and a little, hidden path.

Custom on site created woodworking and a wide variety of other toys, statues, and other trinkets. Great place to visit if you want that special souvenir or gift that isn't just a generic maritime lobster or lighthouse. I always stop by if I'm in the area, even if just to look.

More mass manufactured toys than I expected. I guess they had to change with the times, it must be hard to compete with flashy plastic toys. Pretty well everything in there is rather pricey. They have a beautiful collection of fantasy/fairy statue figures, ranging from small to quite large. Did not go into the workshop. Cute outdoor area for all your picture taking needs.

i have been looking for wood toys by a company called Janod that are no longer in production, my option was Amazon or the toy factory, i added them to my amazon cart expecting the brick and mortar store to be more expensive, but to my surprise and delight the Toy Factory was cheaper that the online giant. glad they are around as it is hard to find quality toys for children.

Really nice toy shop, even if you just wanna look around. Some hand made toys and stuff you wouldn't see in a regular shop. Would love to see it have more space, as there were wayyy to many people there in the small aisles without masks. I understand it's up to them and I respect that, but it feels like an accident waiting to happen with all the people touching and playing with the toys. The toy building classes and room is closed during covid, so unfortunately you cannot do that this year. I'm sure there is something there for everyone to enjoy.

While visiting from NS we went to this shop and my son bought what is called a miracle bracelet. it's nothing more than a really pretty bead bracelet, but he absolutely loved it. While at summer camp one day he went to rainbow haven a local beach here and a wave took him under and the bracelet got washed away. Needless to say he was pretty devastated. I called and spoke to Carol explaining what happened, I was hoping they would mail me one, of course i would pay for shipping etc. but Carol took it a step further. She happened to be coming to Halifax and is not only meeting me but giving my son another one free of charge. We aren't talking a huge amount of money, but to my son it meant the world. Luck would have it they had one that is the exact same color of the one that got washed away. I cannot thank Carol enough for her kindness and generosity, she has definitely made my son a very happy young man. I'll be sure that one day he will pass the same on to someone else. Thank you very much!!!
