This is the worst Salvation army I have ever seen. Been here twice and the selection is non-existent. Picture a Saturday - Sunday garage sale and you show up at 4pm Sunday. That garage sale would have better selection. Sorry guys, I try to support these stores but, you should just shut down.

The store has been given a fresh feeling after being closed for Covid 19 which was long overdue . New carpet and paint as well as proper protocol for number of people in store. My only issue with Salvation Army is that over the years they keep raising the prices as well as any item that is name brand or household items are marked individually and some of those prices are way too much for a thrift store. It feels to me like they are not thinking of people who are lower income and shop there due to not being able to afford new items . These items were donated by people who go out of their way to keep and then bring items to donate thinking they are helping the people in the community that are struggling financially not only by using the soup kitchen or other charitable things that the Salvation Army is known for but also thinking that people and children who need clothes and household items will be able to buy them unaware of how high some of the nicer and newer items are being priced at. Alot of the better quality, name brand or even items that are in better shape are priced high so the people who are really needing them don't have the ability to buy them . I feel that it says to those who are living in poverty and struggling that they are not entitled to buy things that are nicer that they have to buy the items that are less than . School aged children especially . It would be a sad thought if the clothes cost more than their family could afford. Considering that the Salvation Army purpose to sell items is to help those people.

The Salvation Army Store on Huron st. is hard to explain. Its a antique shop, a vintage clothing boutique, it has the food bank located at the same location but don't let that intimidate you, its all good. People helping people & recycling at its best. New & used clothing, homewares, furniture, music, sporting goods, footwear everything. We highly recommend this store. You can pickup all kinds of sweet little treasures.

From it's cleanliness to its abundant inventory I am so happy to recommend this as a must go to thrift store for anyone that's into saving money or helping their community. Going into this location, you've got to wait in line outside; till sales representative! Lets you in, could be one at a time; depending on how many people leave the store! At least they've got a bottle of sanitizer at the door, not like most locations! Anyways they've got a mild selection of different items from man's clothing ( went looking for my size, but to small; the biggest they had was XL)! In the same area, they had glassware to shoes! Which was 50% off today, for shoes! They have appliances to electronics, to even a window display; named sea view! Which is a auction display for March 26, 2021

I generally find had good deal when I go to the Salvation Army. I also like that you can get a card to collect points. With their low prices, I was able to get a pair of pants and a couple shirts with my $10 free coupon. I was actually surprised because I expected to pay more in addition to the $10 free coupon. Sometimes it just seems you're there on the right day.

The place is so packed with clothes it is impossible to look through easily, and it is the same scenario at the North Store as well. I am sure this is due to everyone deciding to clean out their closets over the lock down. Years ago the old Thrift store on Howard use to have a "Bag Sale" where a person would pay for a bag and could stuff as much clothes in the bag as possible. It was a good money maker and certainly had the clothes laterally flying off the shelves. I believe the draw back was people not being able to use the change rooms as there was always some one blocking it. (if I remember correctly) However, that situation has changed for now and we have all become use to buying clothes without trying them on. If you wish to clear your overstocked clothes a Bag Sale might be something to consider.

Their prices for a thrift store almost matches a retail stores prices. I looking at a shampoo was maybe quarter in it, the price for it was 2.50$. CRAZY ???? I can get full bottle at dollar tree for $1.25???? Used clothing around $6 even more. Jackets were EXPENSIVE ????‼️ THERE ARE alot of us that are on minimum monthly income. For me I'm old age pension. It's too expensive for me to shop there. But wen they have special sales I'd go check it out

I find the prices high, they don't look over the clothes very well as I've had to take ripped/stained clothing to the desk. They usually put it back on the racks, depending on who is working. They have a great selection of everything.

Impeccable staff! Today a "Karen" showed up at the store, she didn't want to sanitize or wear gloves. She yelled and carried on like a spoiled child. I think she crawled out from under a rock, to be at the store today. The staff handled the situation very well. However, they shouldn't have to deal with situations like this. Please, everyone remember be safe, be calm and be kind, just like the staff at this location. Good Job!!!

Lady working till was not helpful. I found an item that wouldn't have fit in the cart, I asked if someone could bring it up front and she told me to then asked how I would expect to get it to my car then laughed..I proceeded to tell her that most places offer carry up to the front and to the car. I ended up carrying it up front and to the car with my toddler helping..many generous people offered to help me none being employees of the store. However pricing is good, couldn't find anything clothes wise for my toddler who had an accident, left the store with him wearing shorts. Disappointed in the cashier & staff but grateful for the kind people of woodstock - from a londoner.

Create a job for somebody sanitizing handles etc after, gives somebody work and provide a positive experience for customers? All final sale so customers potentially ending up with clothing that doesn't fit, where does it go then? Back to you guys so you can resell over and over or in the garbage?

What a great thrift store. They have tons of products to choose from, lovely staff who will help you find what you are looking for, and their electronics are actually reliable. I haven't gotten an electronic or appliance that didn't work as well as they claimed (some of their electronics have issues, but the issues are clearly marked on the product).

A great place to look for discounted items and clothing. If your tight on cash due to moving or whatever reason, The Salvation Army has it all. From clothes, shoes, hats coats to electronics, dishware and funiture. Go regularly to find the good stuff as new items are shelved daily. The salvation army csn also help with other things for people living in a low-income environment. Stop in. Your won't be let down.
