Well organized place to find household items. All tools and appliances are tested and cleaned. Couches and chairs are steam cleaned. Donations welcomed in the back. Profits go to building affordable homes. Good place to volunteer.

This habitat for humanity location has been one of the better locations that I have been to. The store is always clean and the staff are always helpful. They have a really nice selection of second hand items. They also take your donations.

Great place for household things. You never really know what you're going to find in there. I really like that the proceeds go to help build houses for local families. It's a great place to donate and buy. Lately though I've noticed that the prices have skyrocketed, oh well I guess that's the trend now.

We went in and tested a loveseat and it was totally fine and sturdy, after we paid it took them nearly 30-40 minutes to get the couch for us... When they brought it out to the truck the center was visibly caved in and had no cushion support anymore, its almost like it wasn't even the same one?... What happened to the couch between the showroom and the loading dock that caused it to break?

There is new things everytime I go . Most things are reasonably priced but some I feel are asking too much, considering they are donated and for the community . It is always tidy and organized.

I really love this store. It sells all kinds of new and used construction supplies and different home improvement project materials. It makes small home improvements much more affordable and proceeds go to a very good cause. Their inventory is always changing as well so if they don't have something you need today they might have it tomorrow.

Fair valued thirft store. I had to go look for a dryer. The price was very resonable. They divered the dryer proply and to my old one away at a resonable price. Defiantly will check the ReStore another time when I have more time.

Awesome place for used and sometimes new building materials. They also have furniture, appliances, household items and a great staff. Metal recycling is available to. There is one in Courtenay too and proceeds go to building housing for deserving families. This society in worldwide and is always looking for trades people volunteers. Look them up on Google and get involved please.

My husband and I have been donating and shopping at this re-store for several years. Today, we went in to look for a dresser and whatever else we might find. We were stopped at the door and told we could not come in as we were wearing shields and B.Henry does not approve. We were actually wearing clear Canadian made MASKS that were sold to us as Masks, not shields! We spoke with the Manager who would entertain no other view concerning our masks though an employee in the store was wearing a thin neck warmer for protection. She offered to shop for us….really, look ‘n buy Restore. Otherwise, we were told to leave! These people do not think for themselves and wanted us to conform to their narrow uninformed conformist parroting. They were wrong and told US the customers to leave! We left NEVER TO RETURN! Losers!

I totally agree about the concept of helping families in need. But if you gonna spend over $100.00 on a subwoofer that was tested and it doesn't work when you first hook it up ,and all I could get is a store credit because it wasn't inspected properly ,Will never buy from you again after I've purchased and gave you lots of stuff that s what I get! Thank you!So before you buy electronics or appliances make sure they test it in front of you.Because otherwise if it doesn't work,you've just made a donation!

This is the most expensive habitat store I have ever been in. Their pricing has gone through the roof. these are donated items supposed to be being sold for reasonable prices. They are selling used bowls for 12.00$. I appreciate that it was a nice bowl but it wasn't sent to an antique store to be sold at regular store prices it was sent to a store to be shared with those less fortunate for a price they can AFFORD. And it was likely made by someone in art class not a famous artist. So, thanks for being there habitat you do great work building homes. But your c.r. store leaves much to be desired.
