I used to really like this dollar store but yesterday was kind of horrible. The woman at the till rang my items through too many times, and when I noticed and went back she just rolled her eyes and let out a loud sigh and made it sound like my fault when I did nothing, she was the one scanning my purchase. Instead of simply giving me my money back she makes me go across the store to pick out something else, thus making me miss my doctors appointment. The employees there have always been very rude but this is too much...

I can't say that all the food from this place is good anymore. Today I landed on some Joseph's sugar-free cookies that tasted more like gasoline, so I threw it all out. I also bought an oat me! peanut butter bar which are sold at 1.25 but also didn't taste good. And the cashier wasn't friendly. You get good deals but don't ask the cashier a simple question, such as "why did this item scan twice on the bill when I only had one" cause it'll annoy them and you'll get a cold reply. I've been a cashier for 6 years and always treated customers kindly. I wanted all my clients no matter what their race or personality was, to leave with a smile. So I'll try to avoid this dollar tree.

I am pleased with the variety of product at the Dollartree. I wanted to organize my pantry shelf and needs storage bins on a budget. Not so many of my favourite colors but I was able to make a good use of what I found there. Though I still had to get my glass jars from Dollarama, I love the whole collection at dollar tree. You can see from the picture.

Honestly, the worst Dollar Tree experience. I went there after my job, so about 5.30pm. I was looking at things, i was interested to buy, but at exactly 6.00pm , not 6.02pm , two employees came to see me, to make me understand that I had to go NOW. I spent more than $60 over there and they didn't even want to wrap all the plates and glass i bought .. sincerely it was really rude . Do not let people coming inside if you will rush them after ... It was Sunday 16 I also work Saturday and Sunday, I know it is not really agreable but I'll never rush the customer to leave!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL

Its my $40 and up store so many cheap things for my DYI and art materials for 1.25 I'm a dollar tree acholic and now more so with lockdowns !!! Spring cleaning materials and art projects will keep me more than busy. Made this with there potpourri (when inwhich i have to keep going back to see if there ;);) flowers and fairy lights decorated a useless spot

Really helpful and polite, we were in campbell River on an urgent family matter so we stopped in here and had a very good experience. Our cashier was Christina and she was very quick to offer help with the products location and getting us some boxes. We were really surprised with the eagerness to go the extra mile. My wife and I both are from the island and have worked in Alberta sadly Alberta has really got an attitude problem so it’s refreshing to have someone serve us who doesn’t act like their really inconvenienced. Thank you Christina and I am sure the rest of the staff are of the same cut.

This is the best Dollar Tree location in the area! Everything is so clean and well lit, all the products are laid out in such order, and facing forward, you feel like you're in a premium store :D the staff is friendly and the manager is very polite, went above and beyond to assist. The products are also if much higher quality than most dollar stores, you get Walmart-quality stuff at fraction of the price - as if they have the same supplier as Walmart. Will be returning :D

A female staff was on a ladder and fell off. She broke her arm, leg and fractured her skull. I saw the blood run down her face because I was there in the store. The staff kept asking her if she was dizzy, as if to say it was her fault. I lost a lot of respect for Dollar Tree on 21/2/17. 28/2/17: She needed a hip replacement, broke her wrist in five places and needed stitches above her eye.

Same old things there nearly every time. But the prices are cheap and the selection is nice. The staff has usually always been nice since I remember. The food there isn't a wide variety and in the makeup section their is only concealer or foundation in darker tones, which is great for some, but sadly not all. They do however have a large variety of holiday/ occasion cards and party items. along with right now an entire section for back to school items which are handy to those who cant afford hundreds of dollars at kmart/Walmart.

I have been to this dollar tree many times,. I usually find what I'm looking for. They have great stuff in there. There is one rude employee that work there. I think in her late 50 or early 60, that is short with glasses. I asked her a question and her remark was rude, and it was like she couldn't be bothered with me. It's surprising how many items are on offer for $1.25 or less. I couldn't find every single thing I was looking for (notebook of graph paper wasn't there), but school/office supplies are abundant. Many small toys, garden tools and decorations, cleaning supplies, craft supplies, food items/snacks, kitchen and bathroom supplies can be found, as well as an impressive number of souvenir Canada items (for care packages or to give to visitors).

Can someone please explain to me how it's okay for an employee of your store to think it's appropriate to pull their mask down, lick their fingers and touch our bags during COVID? And then proceed to talk with said mask down their chin? Also extremely rude to my partner, with seemingly zero customer service skills unless you're the person behind us who received a warm greeting.

If i could give it zero, I would. The customer service is terrible and inconsistent. They claimed that product exchange aren't allowed even though receipt states, "We would GLADLY EXCHANGE any unopened item with original receipt. We do not offer refunds." The recent manager is rude af and unaccomadating - she did not bother explaining as to why I couldn't exchange the item even though they weren't busy. The store is a mess, products aren't displayed properly and are all over the place. It is crowded and not suited for social distancing (not their fault). A lot of steps in training and proper hygiene are necessary for the store to succeed and stay open. Have a good day though.

When into store to purchase sewing needles. Asked young lady if the had needles. She replied in the craft aisle. They have two aisles listed as crafts. Could not find product. Found aisle as she mentioned with yarn in it, yet labeled as party supplies. Still couldn’t located the sewing needles. Asked her again for the needles and she said right there and walked away. Still couldn’t find them. Customer service by this young lady was very poor. Walked out of store and went to Walmart.
