We have enjoyed shopping here and purchased many items for our puppy. Two weeks after our first visit we walked in and they remembered us and the type of my puppy we were buying. They steered us away from an expensive dog bed pointing out how our puppy would chew at first and they helped us find a puppy shampoo that would work with our human scent sensitivities. The employees clearly enjoy their work and meeting the pets that visit. The quality of their Bailey and Bella home brand is very good; fashionable, yet durable and reasonably priced. The store layout invites browsing and they have an area for dog bathing at a reasonable price. They have Covid-19 protocols in place with limits on the number of people allowed in store. They carry all the main brands of pet food.

Where can I start! Amazing staff so nice especially the manager!! They have so many choices for dog foods and treats and toys but for my rats they don’t have a lot. They always run out of rat food and they don’t have a lot of rodent toys or bird climbing toys that aren’t plastic. This all being said still the first place I go to get anything for my pets ♥️♥️ love the place just wish the rodent/bird section would grow.

UPDATE: VERY disappointing visit today. I am in this store weekly. Today I tried to return an item. They remembered me buying it, they found the sale in the computer and it was still in original condition/tags, package. Never used. However, they still would only give me a store credit. It also WASN'T a sale item. Friendly, helpful staff. Never had A problem getting help or finding what I'm looking for.

I love how sweet all the workers are, also respectful and helpful. Oh my gosh, Very gentle with all the pets but especially skittish dogs, always outgoing and bubbly staff. My pup is a rescue, and we had her nails done there, and they did amazing with how much she was squirming and just terrified. Still, we all banded together and managed to get her completed, and for only $10.00, everything is reasonably priced this is are go to place we take out pup all the time now.

I hesitate to talk to positively about any big pet store, but I have to say that these guys do cooperate with local shelters and rescues which is great, and the staff are nice. That being said, they still offer hamster cages that are too small for hamsters, beta tanks that are too small for a beta, unhealthy ferret food and all the usual tropes of a big pet store. The main things they are extremely well equipped with: cat litter, cat and dog food, cat and dog accessories, grooming supplies. For these things I like to shop here. Anything more exotic or aquatic, do your research and don't impulse buy here.

Do not use their services, just a rip off! Took my dog to have his nails clipped and did some shopping while I was there. Did not check his nails in store when I got home only two nails had been clipped the rest were either completely ignored or barely trimmed. Of course they charged me full price for this service so... I guess they feel they need the money more than your animal does!!!

I have never had a bad experience at this store. The eother have the products I need or tell me where to find them. The prices are fair, the staff are great, and they are locally owned. The only reason I heald a star back is the size of the store, which may be more about my size and less about the store. At 6' and 220lbs the isles are a bit cramped for me.

I must say Emily Assistant Manager truly went above and beyond my expectations. I ordered something online for pick up. The money already came out of my account. When I went to pick it up there was no record of it in their system. Emily called the help desk and was so diligent in trying to sort it out. They did have the item in stock however I had to pay for it again. Emily gave me a discount for the trouble and said the money should be returned to my account with in a few days. The money was returned and Emily even did a follow up call to confirm. What an amazing young woman and what fantastic service. I hope your superiors recognize how valuable you are.

It's an excellent place for a small pet store! They have a rather large cat and dog section but a rather tiny small pet section (small pet meaning hamster, rats, rabbits, birds, etc) and nothing for reptiles! If you're looking for a larger selection for items for small pets go to their sister store Total Pet up dragon lake hill near staples and A&W. The staff is super friendly, and can be super helpful! They do allow leashed or caged pets in the store (I've brought my hamster in before!). All in all 4.5 stars!

I have just left Bosleys yet again distraught for the poor Betta fish. Out of the 20 I saw today, less than half were even moving. Most of them laying dead or were completely motionless out of no will left to live in a small Tupperware. It pains me to see living animals in these conditions and I wish there was something I could do for each and every one of these fish. Please, bosleys, PLEASE do better. I was almost in tears having to see these poor souls next to the cat food. It’s hard to just ignore and continue on with your day when you come across something like this.

My go-to store for my cats. I have some pretty fussy eaters at home, so the return policy on food here is excellent. The store selection is quite varied, and nicely organized. Anytime I have needed suggestions for our cats, they quickly point me in the right direction. Kat and Meg are real assets to the store and we appreciate their service. Very organized and smaller than some of the other pet stores I have gone to in the past. I can always find exactly what I am looking for and then some! Great selection of treats and food. I've always found the employees at this store to be friendly, extremely knowledgable, and easy to communicate with.They are eager to assist you with whatever you need, even if that means having a longer than expected conversation:) They are very intentional with their words and the information that they share with you, treating your pet as though they were their own! I also love that they do not sell live animals in their store. Will definitely be making this store our number one stop for pet supplies.

Bosley's was our favourite pet store in our old town, so I had high expectations for this Bosley's when we moved to Quesnel. The staff here are so friendly, knowledgeable and customer oriented. 100% my dog and I love going here. A couple of times we have had to return items, and they are so kind about it. I appreciate them so much! Violet and I cannot wait to return for our next visit!

I was in today asking about some food for my dogs. While I was waiting for my turn I overheard the owner, a lovely lady and her manager talking to a customer about a return on some food. When they let the lady know an almost empty bag was not eligible for their return policy the lady became very nasty and rude and attacked the owner personally about her ability to run the store and said something quite shockingly racist. She then told them she would no longer shop there and they politely told her that was her choice and to have a nice day. Had that been me I probably would have blown a gasket. They offered every courtesy and patiently explained the situation and handled everything professionally. I’m sorry it happened. Then staff here is fantastic and they really know their stuff! Highly recommend!????

I prefer Dogwood Petmart, but the staff here are really friendly. Unfortunately due to being a box company, they can't control their pricing or rewards system so it's cheaper and more beneficial to go to Dogwood Petmart. Pro of here though is self serve pet wash and a wider variety than Dogwood.
