I have been to a lot of the Treasure Hunt stores from Sudbury to Port Colborne. One of the things that I like about the Port Colborne store is the effort they make to keep the store organized and tidy. It makes it easier to find the merchandise that you are looking for. As per stores like Treasure Hunt. It is buyer beware and you should inspect the merchandise that you are buying. Some of the items have small defects and if that is okay with you then you could get the item at a 50%+ discount. I have purchased electronics, sporting goods, tools and seasonal items which I was happy with. My greatest saving came from clothing. Having two teens, I was able to get Gap clothing, Levi jeans, and Ben Sherman clothing at a crazy price. To get a pair of jeans for $5 is a steal! What makes this store stand out for me is the staff. I have always received friendly service and they would assist me on finding items that I was looking for. I would strongly suggest to follow them on social media due to the sales that they have. I have been lucky to attend the store during 80 - 90% discounts and trust me the savings in ridiculous during these promotions.

it definitely has some great prices. Its so hard to find anything that hasn't been opened already. You spend more time looking for pieces and wondering if it even works. Its a good spot to go in with knowing what you want.

You buy it it's yours so take the deal with the risk of it being defective or missing parts - but I've got many great deals. Take the time to check the box before you buy and ensure the electronic works before the 5 day return policy expires. And the staff are really good people. Enjoy your hunt!

I searched and shopped items that are invariably cheap. The bill in my mind was $40. But they took two tax deductions one for $5 other $9. I feel like I’m cheated. The total $54 would be the same amount if I would have shopped at any other regular store. Wasted my time and money. Not recommended.

I am a long time customer of treasure hunt. Its like you have to visit every other day to find good products or deals. But now days i believe their strategy has change and discount to most of product are set to 50% or lower which is not good. All items are listed at highest market price even though you can find it at cheaper price from a real store ( I must suggest to check the pricing online and compare and decide if it is worth the buy). Also the customer service/dealing is getting worse and non cooperative day by day. If i was writing this review a year ago then i would have given it 5 star

Its worst treasure hunt among all others. Staff is worst. Employer named Tammy treats client like she has no manners. We just bought bed and it was in 2 separate boxes so manager as well as Tammy asked to pay double prices as they scan 2 boxes but item is only 1. they have lots of stuff bcz 5hey dont do deal even half the stuff is not in boxes so after 50% off it ends up like full price in Walmart. They dont want it to go so they keep getting junk and none of there electronics works so now they did put not to open. They dont take electronics back in 5 days like other treasure hunt. Place is very dirty and I was in the store one june 13 2020 a blond worker started yelling at 2 older women loud enough that the whole store heard her I had a cart with a few things and I refused to spend money in this store after the worker lost it on the women I will not support a store that it's ok to abuse there customers the health board needs to go in this store the floors have not been cleaned in years the shelfs are so dirty this place needs to be closed down asap and the blond needs to lose her job or be charged for her actions

I usually LOVE liquidation stores. I know it is a get what you pay for bases; however, to sell at LeapFrog 3D interactive learning system with no book legit makes the whole system useless. ALSO, the WRONG CHARGER INBOX. Now I have a big thing of plastic sitting as I look online to see if readers and chargers are even still available. $25.00 wasted on plastic. SHADY to sell something, knowing it does not have all the parts for it to even function. I also noticed a lot of broken/damaged things they were trying to sell. $400.00 for a used kids ATV that the stirring mechanism was broken. The store was also in disarray. The shoes, clothes were just scattered all over the place. I will be back, but not before I call and inquire about the plastic I just bought for 25 bucks.

The cheapest place to buy stuff for the fraction of the price, bought 2 microwaves, one of them I bought that red, black and gorgeus, did not work so they gave me my money back, then I bought a new one exactly in the box and worked perfectly, I totally recommend this to people who have low or fixed incomes, including poor companies. ????????☺????

What an absolute dump! This is worse that Liquidation King. Product looks like it was literally just thrown into the shelves. Store is dirty and Purell is a must. Most of the "great deals" on hardware are broken...I can't imagine this lasting much longer here and in the Niagara Falls location.

Terrible!! I was a regular pre covid,went in for the first time with my 7 year old and was treated like complete garbage because I have medical mask exemption. I put on one of their face diapers to be able to go in with my son only to be accused of stealing on my way out!!! I am livid and will never go back!? You should all be ashamed of yourselves and when you wake up to the real world and the fact that the masks do nothing to protect you and only make you sick it will be too late! Wake up sheep and stop discriminating against those with brains in their heads✌️

Over priced, and inflated "original" price, broken items, missing parts make the item unusable. Case in point, bike for sale , listed at $300, on for $120. Complete break cable system failure, needs to be replaced at approx $125. A quick price comparison online at Walmart has the same bike for $175 brand new (not $300). Explained to staff and they said the price is the price...... Another time, bought an office chair. At home putting it together, it had the base with wheels, and the seat/backrest but no shock/piston to connect the two together rendering the chair useless. Went to return and was told there are no returns and was advised next time to bring tools and build the chair on the floor in the aisle.

The store is what it is, a liquidation store. Some prices are great and some are still at retail. Typical liquidation. However I did buy a hoodie this past Saturday and when I got home and put it on, it had 2 roaches ( The joint kind, not the insect) in the pocket. A little irked by that but what can ya do. I wish I took a photo but they have an office slightly above the change rooms with window views towards the entire main area, including a clear view of people trying on clothing.... I felt incredibly uncomfortable seeing that when I was trying some tops on. I also noticed there’s a camera in eyes view within the change room as well.. not sure if it’s a 360 view but I’m sure if it was, I’m sure they could get a clear view of people changing as well! Shocking... Aside from that, the place is an absolute dump. I have found some brand new products for super cheap but it’s very slim to none. There are other treasure hunt locations out of town that are in MUCH better condition.. and I suggest going to one of them instead.

What a dump! Their version of having items out is to have bin after bin of whatever items they can find thrown in there. Aisles are blocked with random junk that is just laying around. If you do manage to find something despite the terrible set up buyer beware. Everything I have purchased that required batteries had had to be returned. Annoying to have to make a trip back. Most of what I saw on the shelves and in those bins looks broken. I shop there less and less. I keep hoping they will clean up their store. It just seems to be getting worse. Also, what's with a store that big not letting customers use the washroom? Whoever manages this store is doing a terrible job.

Been to all the locations of Treasure Hunts. This one is my second favourite. I find they have a bit more inventory than the Mississauga location. The only thing is it's super messy. A lot of the items appear already used, but hey it's cheap.

Okay, here is my HONEST review. #1 this place is AWESOME for good deals, we go every so often and come out with a full cart of things we need but other stores mark the prices up way too high #2 it looks like a dump. Some of the stuff is used? Found a nice portable coffee cup. Opened it. It was the worst smell I've ever had assault my nostrils. #3 I feel like the employees aren't treated right? I imagine it's a horrible place to work. Give them some slack. I would leave 5 stars if the place wasn't such a mess ????????‍♂️

This store leads you through a maze of items, all haphazardly placed and without logical order or sequence. I've never seen an establishment so disheveled and cluttered. Being a liquidation outlet is fine and dandy but maintaining a certain level of organization and presentability is vital. Treasure Hunt fails royally on the latter two and while there are many a good find, the process leading to the discoveries is rather painful.

terrible customer service! I last went on December 7th recently. I was the last customer and was charged for everything i bought. However, one of my items was missing so i called them because i live far away and they said there is nothing they could do about it. i told them they can check the cctv camera to make sure i didn't take it and they said they will check and call back. its been almost a week and they haven't replied. i tried speaking with the supervisor but they still haven't replied or updated. Non co-operative staff. Make sure you have everything before you leave!

Treasure Hunt in Cambridge is a warehouse type store which has a revolving inventory of products. It is quite large with a good selection of clothing and small appliances. It also has toys, tools, bedding, matresses, and a host of other products. The prices can be good. However, items can be expensive, even more so than some large department stores. The store is quite cluttered and messy. In my experience the staff members are friendly and helpful. The store is a worthwhile venture, but shop with discernment.

There is often a lot of great stuff on the cheap,sometimes not. Staff is always friendly and products always changing. Lots of kids' toys and sometimes decent tools, appliances, electronics, etc... Sales would double in this location if management with spend a little more hours on their own people. Store used to be somewhat decent when it first opened. Since then every time I have gone in the place is a mess, there's broken stuff everywhere and I find the employees are getting more rude. The last time I went in I found a couple things that I had wanted, I was ignored by 3 employees while I was waiting to cash out. I took a time off from trying to find anything in this store about a year ago, now after my recent visit there I can say I will definitely not be returning.

This is a bargain hunter's dream. The inventory is constantly changing and no one really knows what brand names they will find when they arrive at the store. Remember, a liquidator helps provide solution to inventory problems by buying and marketing merchandise from businesses that are in distress situations, like fire, insurance or freight claims, bankruptcies, receivership, buybacks, overproduction or cancelled orders. A business doesn't make a profit selling to Treasure Hunt, but at least get something back rather than not getting anything at all. I've read here that sometimes the prices for some items are just as high as in other surrounding stores like Walmart or Winners. That's because liquidators like Treasure Hunt recognize the importance of brand and label control, so it tries to be sensitive to prices charged by other retailers operating in the same community. Like for example, if TH acquires 30 new brand-name jeans because of a cancelled order, it will try and sell them at prices competitive with other retailers. Regarding the condition of the store or that merchandise is all over the place or broken or missing parts, I'd bet it has to do with how the shoppers treat the stuff. Staff will be minimum to keep prices low, so don't expect things in order all the time (and l'm sure the staff try their best). lf you don't mind this, great, you can get deals of up to 70% off retail. Who doesn't like saving money? If it bothers you, nobody's stopping you to shop elsewhere.

There are times when you find a diamond in the rough (an old Navy bathing suit for $4), but there are also times when you end up with garbage (a soft top gazebo that has tears and scratched metal legs). What you expect from a liquidation store and is true to its name. A no frills shopping experience. Lots a stuff in the store. Many great quality items but also many items that are broken and missing critical parts. Usually priced accordingly, but they don't always catch missing/broken items so definitely open and try everything before you buy it. The pricing is a bit tricky, but essentially there is a price on the item (often already a discount) then you add an extra discount based on the shelf/area in the store you found it in. Prices can be a bit confusing since things tend to be all over the place, but I have usually found items to be what I expect or even less when they ring them in at the cash register. It is also pretty easy to get a staff member to verify a price if needed.

They wouldn't let me in without a mask even though the law says they need to respect the law. When I told the "Karen" that I was mask exempt her response was.... "I don't care! Went in there with a few things in mind and found what I was looking for pretty quickly. The store atmosphere is OK it's a discount store so it's not a grand shopping experience. Stock is moved in and out regularly so organization is pretty great considering but you are getting things at 50 -80% off shelf prices from store like Wal-Mart. The staff is always kind and helpful if you need assistance . I have purchased patio furniture curtains and small toys for my kids. It's a great stop to make when your looking to update or simply browse.

Better than Brampton location. Have been here a few times. Got two full on ninja blenders for cheap. You do need to check the stuff. There is an electronics table where you can plug stuff in. Most items are either missing parts, have something damaged, were open box items. About 70-80% are Wal-Mart returns. Clothing didn't really interest me and there was a lot. Did get some good deals on cereal and other food items that weren't expired. I always stop in when i am in town.

They Sell items that cannot be tested in store ( claim it’s a safety hazard but safe to test at home) if this is the case they should be testing the items themselves before selling anything to the public. I needed alot of stuff for my trailer so i went to this store every other day during the winter and watched for thier already low priced items to go on sale. I lucked out when kitchen stuff went on sale for 70% off, i got everything i needed including a large instantpot. The pot is reg 178.00 at walmart.. I got it for 23 buxs!! Today i got a bbq..reg 248.00 at walmart.. i paid 89.00. Still in box, no missing parts. I found all of the staff here friendly and cheery!!!. If ever i had questions i looked for Tammy because shes always gone out of her way to help me find what im looking for. Today she even lifted my new bbq into my jeep. I was shocked because it wasnt exactly light!!! Fantastic lady.. !!! great customer service. !!!!!

He took the time to ensure I left with a complete product and went above and beyond to make it a positive experience. This location is very lucky to have such an employee who puts customers first. Thank you for a very positive experience. I was able to get a few things at really great deals here. Worth a look, however you need to be patient and take your time since the place has alot of product and it's probably challenging for the employees to keep it all organized.

I often come in this place but this day I encountered a cashier I got her name but I won't mention here. She overpriced the wig Im buying. The white tag and yellow tag cost $5.98 but she said to me $10 because it's for adult. I asked if she is sure she checked on the computer it's only $2+. When I'm paying she gave me 3 stamps for their promotional point. My total bill was $74 +. I asked how much to spend for 1 stamp. She said $20/stamp. I asked her again if she is sure because the last time I always got $10/stamp. But she insist $20/stamp I cant do anything. When I came out from the exit door I called the website number of the store to clarify and the other line said $10/stamp. When I turned my head to look inside the store to see whom Im talking it's the cashier whom I did my payment. So, she knew all along it's $10/stamp. I went inside the store and looked other staff to help me get my right points. The staff called their manager but to my surprised after I told the case to the manager, he defended the staff he said Im only the one who complaint to the cashier. I told him I cant do anything if you dont put my situation to your shoes. He called the cashier and I explained to the cashier what I really felt because Im asian Im treated this way? Her finger pointing at me while she's defending herself. I told her not to finger point and used my finger too just to show her actions and she just turned around and go back to her posiion. This is my own opinion. Manager can't handle his own staff that is why some staff are rude and maybe the reason why the store is messy and unorganized. Some staff are helpful also like the white man who is always willing to assist to customers.Everytime I visit the store I often see him he is happy to assist customers. Fortunately, I didn't get his name.

Horrendous service.. got called to the register, and as I got there my cashier had to help the other cashier behind her (which is fine, I work retail and I understand Saturdays can be super busy) but as she served me her attention was on the cashier beside her, and I only had her attention for maybe ten seconds for a five minute transaction...other than her scanning my item, her head was turned around the entire time, and when she finally gave me my bill, she slid it across the counter without even turning towards me or saying thank you, and went back to helping the girl behind her. Stores was a disorganized mess. The fault lies with people rummaging through things, knocking things on floor That said, staff was really kind & thoughtful. Good deals to be had, one just has to check everything because sales are final.

i really liked this place! the mark ups are a tiny bit high but the bedding prices are great! im going back today to grab myself a regular price bed in a bag 11 piece set 109.99 for $50! eeekk! lots of other great stuff i would say its worth a look!

Had high hope for this place. Felt like a collection of left over stuff that fell off the back of a truck. Also..and this probably would help you tons.. Try cleaning up the place. Nothing was in order when going through clothing. Said med sz but tag lg..and it was in the xl section. Im not talking one or two pieces of clothes. All of them were so mixed up. I gave up and went to Value Village. Which i suggestion heavily. Sorry TH.

Can't beat the prices!!! Check the boxes etc to make sure the parts are there. Test the electrical items before buying. Take the time to hunt.... It's 100% worth it!!

Place is over priced!! And then discounted!! Rugs that are $3000?? And 90%off. Same ones are available for 200 at the rug store at the mall any day of the week! Also this place is filled with old outdated worthless junk

Amazing prices, just check over your items before you purchase because it is a liquidation store and items may have defects. Test electronics in store and if buying clothes just look it over for stains or rips or anything of that sort. Other then that it's well worth going, even if you live out of town it's worth driving out to. I picked up a kids sleeping bag that I seen at Walmart for 35buks and got it for 12. I also got a pair of Steve Maden men's dress shoes for 15. The store carries a lot of stuff from Walmart and other places at prices 30 to 80% off. You just can't go wrong checking this store.

This place is nice but I don't like the service. Cashier are behaving like racists especially a black fat lady who works at the cash counter. Totally disappointed and never wanna go there. Everyone is same, everyone os paying same amount. Do your job and show some honesty.

My experience at treasure hunt in Port. Colburne ont. Was and is the worse retail exp ever we went today for back to school supplies and they had absolutely nothing of what the Port Colborne store advertise they had. So very dispointed that. We will never shop. At the store ever again. And this review was put bon words that I'm aloud to use cause what I wanted to say would of been inappropriate

Bought a popcorn machine still in box. Opened box to find a dirty used and broken machine. My own fault to by from a discount store. Beware of products still in boxes. NO RETURNS!
