Them purchased a belt ($49) last July. It is laminated and separated, I glued it .but it continues to come apart. I finally went in today to see what they would do for me. NOTHING!!! I won't be returning to George Richards, they could have offered me a discount on a new one, I got NOTHING!!!! So they won't get my business, the DXL in Mississauga provided great service and prices for us bigger guys! As you see they asked me to contact them, which I did. But they didn't get back to. Another reason not to go back!

She helped us out and even though we didn't buy from that location she called the other stores to coordinate two pairs of pants to be shipped to Hamilton. Thanks Sarah and keep up the good work. Friendly service, good selection of plus sizes, but in limited amounts. Stock of common sizes can get low in the middle of the week. New stock is out on Friday afternoon.

I’ve been here a few times to get some dress shirts. Staff are friendly and if you time it right you can get some nice items for your wardrobe at a good price. I am a big Tip Top customer and appreciate finding my size at George Richards; admittedly though I wait for the sales.

They do what they say on the tin, supply clothes for big and tall hombres. The two issues for me were: 1.small selection (oxymoron considering the name) and 2. Not the best fit. I needed a large extra long shirt and had to make due with an xl long.

This store can be very expensive but sometimes you can get great deals on clothes. Recently got a winter parka 70% off. Defiantly worth checking out their sale racks.

Poor customer service, especially the manager. Refused to replace a pair of pants that they had sized incorrectly because it was outside their 30 day window. Pants were also low quality for the price paid. Over priced, bad service and bad experience. 1/10, would not recommend. I suspect the positive reviews are written by staff.

The clothing itself is great however I find the service here sucks. I had purchased a pair of dress pants online. I closed my account at my old bank and there was only 1 option for return. In the original card which doesnt exist. I would be happy with store credit or trade but the staff insisted that it has to go on the original card the doesn't exist... I hope nobody else runs into this because the pricing at this place is high to begin with and to be left with somthing you can't use in the end is a real mood killer.

Thankful for a store like this. Staff are great at this location. New location is conveniently located on Hespeler Road in Cambridge. The staff understand sizing issues. One of only a few stores I can find my size. Clothing is top notch.

Very rude sales associate. I went to return a belt but did not have my order number. The sales associate rudely explained the company policy of online returns. I get the store policy but they way she explained it was very rude. She made it sound like I stole the belt or bought it at another store and was trying to get a new belt out of the deal. I don't know any local store that sells Britches name brand. It's bad when your coworker has to whisper "I am sorry" and try's to apologize for a rude sales associate. The store also closed 30 minutes early vs stated closing time.

Store was clean and well merchandised. Was able to get what I wanted, in my size. Isaac was wonderful to deal with. He listened to me, made suggestions, didn't upsell or lowsell me. He was pleasant, personable and knowledgeable. He made what is usually an uncomfortable situation for my husband pleasant and easy. We will be back.

Service was ok. I didn't like their attitude, it was a bit off putting. Their style selection also kinda sucks. Everything is tapered and feels like skinny jeans. If you're going to this store, you're probably not small. I went to the George Richards in London, ON and they had a much better selection. Good store, bad location, bad selection. Probably won't go back.

The clothes are nice, but the customer service wasn't great. We were shopping for a funeral outfit and my friend wasn't in the mood for shopping at all. They only gave us one item at a time (so my friend was quickly tired of dressing and redressing), didn't ask questions or make many suggestions... As a retail worker, I understand how important it is to ask questions and follow up, especially when someone is shopping for such a difficult occasion. I hope it was just a fluke.

What a great experience! I had never been to this store and decide to come and see what sales were going on for Black Friday. I was helped by a extremely knowledgeable staff member named Pat. She will be the reason I return to this location, I felt as if I was shopping with a friend. She was honest about sizing and what looked good. I wasn’t rushed and didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything. I did purchase some great quality clothing and will definitely be shopping here again!

Customer service was not good, my husband and I went in there just to browse he's 6'4 and struggles to find clothing because of how he's build. Figured why not step in and see associate came over asked if she could help we said no just browsing and then she followed up with "well just for your information you're a little to small for our store " and then starts to explain sizes - first of all never assume someone's size when not asked and second of all what if we were shopping for someone's present ? It is the holidays after all. My husband informs her that he indeed does wear sizes that work with the store and her response was just " oh ok". Just not how customers should be treated

I have been a few times and have always been welcomed warmly and promptly by staff. The gentleman who helped me today was amazing; very friendly and cheerful. I explained what I was looking for and sizes, and he spent a good amount of time looking for stock and offering suggestions. He was never over bearing and allowed me to shop at my pace. Another associate offered me advice on hemming a pair of trousers that I purchased. She mentioned that they tend to get shorter after the first wash and to avoid hemming them until after that. Once I got home and it was even listed on the label and they could have been ruined. Both associates knew their products perfectly, and it saved me time and potentially money over all. This is why I keep coming back. The clothes are quality and the employees are amazing.
