It's a mom and pop shop that's been a part of the tri-cities for years and for the longest time was the only place you could get movie quality halloween props and effects. However, with stores like Spirit Halloween seasonally popping up and now Party City setting up year round shop it's not the go to destination it once was for special events and party planning. It loses a star for me because the prices are not competitive for basic run of the mill party supplies like balloons, streamers, candles etc. That are easily found in every dollar store at a fraction of the price. The only size helium rental cylinder they have is $150! Party City you can get 2 different disposable helium tanks for 40-50 bucks. Of course it depends how many balloons you're filling but the $150 tank seems more for big venue, large party functions. They do have a huge selection of other rental items for when you'd rather not make a permanent investment, such as vintage style popcorn machines. Great local business to support and super friendly owner but if you're looking to celebrate on a budget you're probably only going to be picking up a couple of items from here.

We rented pillars for our wedding, not only are they affordable, they are super nice! They will drop off and pick up for an affordable and reasonable price! They have so much selection for all party needs! Decorations from weddings to Halloween! CHECK EM OUT!

I just want to say the man who runs this store is a gem! I was in the other day and ordered three large balloons and stanchions and he was so friendly and helpful - someone i truly felt deserved my money! Such a welcoming place, where I've never not seen great customer service. i also rented a popcorn machine in the past for a fundraiser and again had nothing but good experiences.

This place has everything you need to have a party! I rented a theater style pop corn machine for an event I had volunteered to do pop corn for. I was astounded at how many things this store carries from streamers and balloons to coloured wigs and costumes! The pop corn rental was a hit at the event would definitely be back.

Went into the shop to ask for assistance to find out more about balloon decorations, ended up being told "what you see is what you get" attitude. Such an unwelcoming shop! Tried to ask and wait for their recommendation, nothing came and finally decided to go for the other party shop close by. What a waste of my time and experience.

Amazing owners that are very helpful. You can call in your orders for balloons ahead of time so you don’t have to wait. They have gender announcement balloons and a wall of balloons to choose from, tons of rental costumes as well as costumes for purchase, machine rentals (cotton candy, popcorn and slushy machines) and a good selection of Ben Nye makeup. This is probably a great place for people in film as well as anyone looking for accessories to complete costumes. My go-to party shop!

Selection was okay but I am giving them a poor rating because of their staff person. She was a middle aged dark haired female and she did not like kids which is strange for a party shop representative. I visited the shop early this month with my wife and our two kids, 3 years and 8 months. Our three year old was excited at the sight of so many fun looking things, as I would expect any three year old would be. However, this excitement was apparently too much for the store clerk to handle. First of all, as we were checking out at the register, she told us that our son was "quite the yapper" (which I initially wasn't sure how to take) but then after we left the store, my wife also told me that when I was on the other side of the store at one point, my wife was asking her question when my son had interrupted them, and the clerk actually "shushed" him. That revelation made the "yapper" comment clearer. In addition to lacking general manners, why is a store clerk with the inability to handle an energetic and happy, and yes sometimes very talkative, three year old working in a party shop? Not spending a dime there again.

This is easily the best party place I have shopped at. It has so many items it's hard to know where to start. The staff are gems! There are so few places left with such a fun family staff. I have used their rentals and gotten balloons made several times and have always been looked after. The website doesn't do the shop justice so I often call to check if they have an item or rental equipment.

Came here for bachelorette stuff but they've sold out of sashes save custom ribbons that you can print any saying you want on them and use as sashes...they're not the nicest but were going for $15 a piece and took 2 days to make. Tiny section for other bachelorette stuff. Wanted to potentially rent wedding stemware and chargers too but they only had like 25 pieces of each thing...not nearly enough to rent to a wedding.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at It's My Party Shop. We were running a charity campaign for pink shirt day and wanted balloons that would last us over the weekend in our store. We visited a big party store near our shop and they couldn't guarantee that their "high float" would last us until the next morning. We called It's My Party Shop and not only did they say their high float would last the weekend, they also offered to start the order for us and have it ready in 15 minutes for pickup. We were beyond impressed. We bought 3 bouquets of balloons, they bagged them for us for transport (it was raining) and to our amazement the balloons are still floating over a week later. We bought them Friday Feb 22nd and its now March 2nd and all of them were still floating so we decided to add them to our outside signage for the day. We won't buy balloons from anywhere else again. Thank You!
