I was excited when I noticed an advertisement from this optical store, to quote "Get a 2nd pair free" I was assisted to by an associate and I considered purchasing a pair of prescription eyeglasses to which the associate took a couple of eyeglasses frame, I even verified if the second pair of eyeglasses is free provided I purchased the first one, I paid the full amount and this associate grab the second one from the clearance section and I chose the design I prefer, only to find out that there was none after I picked up the merchandise after a couple of weeks, this is a deceitful advertising of the Hudson's Bay Optical Burnaby branch in Metrotown mall.

Dr. Bernard Kim was absolutely amazing! He took the time to explain to me what was going on with my eyes rather than just doing an eye exam. The Manager at the optical store was also super helpful and had great customer service. I will definitely go back!

With my friend, I dropped by Hudson's Bay Optical (4th Floor) to check out our eyeglasses. All staff working in the optical was kind. In particular, Ali, the manager, was very calm and kind with patience. He answered all of our questions and gave us kind explanations and suggestions, but there was no pressure to buy. On the 3rd-time visit, we finally decided to buy our eyeglasses, so we ordered 2 pairs of eyeglasses. And, the cost of the eyeglasses was reasonable and not expensive (cheap for some choices), even compared to Costco's Optical store (I checked Costco's Optical first before visiting Hudson's one). It was a pleasure experience to order our eyeglasses with Ali.

I lost my wallet and cell phone. One of the associates found them the next day, and the security called me to picked them up. The staff are very helpful, and cooperative. Thank you all.

Just over a week ago, I went into the Optical Dept to look at frames. I had been looking a several places over many months, but had not been able to make a decision. I've worn contact lenses for almost 55 years, so this was a big step! Sukh, the District Manager, happened to be there that day and I was extremely grateful for his help throughout the process of selection. He, along with Ali, Dept Manager, and Maryan, spent over an hour with me trying on many, many frames. They each had their own thoughts and suggests and it was so helpful to have their input. There was no pressure to buy anything, just genuine interest in finding suitable frames, should I decide to purchase. In the end, I ordered one pair for everyday and one pair for sunglasses. Their pricing was better than anywhere else and their service was first class. Thank you so much to all 3 of you!

Fast, efficient and professional service. I had a great experience dealing with the optical dept in the D/T Bay. This is the second time I have purchased from this location and will do so again next time. Great sake prices too.
