My sister in-law ordered us cloth face masks from this company, so we all have our own and they’re great. However she recently ordered some hats, we were looking forward to them because we loved the masks so much and love supporting local Canadian businesses, however the hats never came. When we requested the refund since they didn’t ship them, they didn’t refund the tax we paid nor the shipping. Very disappointed that they pocketed some of our money and couldn’t fulfill an order. With that said we will not be purchasing in the future because we feel that they did not appreciate our business or value us as clients. Shame!

I have spent far too long navigating their website looking for masks to fit my 12 yr old. They clump the masks without regard for size, as a true filter search. You literally have to click on all the style of mask options to find S/M (the recommended size). Their size chart is quite confusing for mothers seeking the right fit for their kids. They are forgetting to provide ease to "far away shoppers" with "our online experience". Reviews suggest masks are too small for kids. Clearly the "one size" does not fit all. Toddlers should be labeled toddlers, kids as kids (5yrs-11yrs), and teens as teens (12yrs +). A mask needs to fit properly to be effective. While they have many styles to choose from, most cater to females, which is something they need to pay attention to. Reviews have me hesitating to buy. While their mask appear to fit the bill in terms of comfort, they are not cheap and investing in multiple masks, may not make sense if we can not exchange them (understandably). Fix your website and I assure you more sales will come. I have visited your website several times and yet I havent bought for that reason. Without all the proper sizes well labeled, mothers are moving to the next best website for their family needs. I hope this review and the many others who have the same complaint/advise prompts positive change. Thank you for the opportunity to write this review! Finally found masks that fit my 8 year old and myself very well. The fabric and cut are so nice and made us feel comfortable and safer. We had no problem adjusting them slightly with a quick sew to fit a tad more snug. After trying a few masks from other companies, we are happiest with our Olive and Splash masks. We will get a few more shortly. Thanks for the quick turnaround from order to pick up. Transaction couldn’t have been easier and Melanie was lovely at pick. My son said, “what a nice lady!”

Absolutely the worst customer service in all of Canada. I ordered two (2) black bamboo adult masks back in March, I received weeks later one (1) child's mask. My order totaled some $60-70 not given. I have sent numerous emails and messages on MULTIPLE platforms, have had some generic automated responses and some real ones. Nobody knows whats going on there. CLUELESS!!!! As it stand it is June 3rd. The pandemic might as well be over as I am still awaiting a tracking number and of course the masks that I paid for and never received. Thanks so much!

I saw an article about Olive and Splash's bamboo masks and went ahead and purchased two .. and then went back to their site and ordered a bamboo crop top hoodie and a tye-dye shirt!! ???? Shipping was fast and I am absolutely in love with everything I ordered. The clothing is just so super soft and I am so happy I found a mask for my sensitive skin! Will definitely purchase more clothing in the near future from here! ????

I just picked up my second set of three masks. The drive-thru is easy and Melanie let us pick the colours, style and size of masks. We are wearing them on the few occasions we get groceries or pharmacy run. Last week I went with one of my kids to a doctors appointment and we felt so much better wearing the cloth masks. They are super comfortable and fit nicely. Thanks Melanie for your creativity, hard work and most of all your support!

I’ve encountered several people wearing masks from your company, and all of them have been practically see-through and clearly ineffective (two thin layers of mesh). Even if they “comply to regulations” it is still hugely irresponsible of your company to advertise them as medically sound/effective against COVID. We are still in the midst of a global pandemic. Out of respect for the people put at risk by your grossly irresponsible masks every day, pull your product from shelves.

Purchased three masks here. The black sheer one is very nice, works well for dressy events, like outdoor weddings. However the tie-dye masks do not fit well. Very disappointed in the customer service. Emailed twice to inquire about return policy, and there was no reply.

I met Melanie at a pop-up store downtown Burlington a few years ago, purchasing a sweater for my two year old daughter. Since then I’ve purchased clothes for myself — the quality is excellent (so soft!) and the style is ????. Melanie has gone above and beyond for me. After giving birth (and not wanting to leave the house), she dropped off various items and sizes for me to try on! Recently I purchased masks to support her small business as well as our frontline workers. I mistakenly put my masks in the dryer (suppose to lay flat to dry), but luckily they still fit, covering even my husbands nose and chin! Phew! I was super excited to receive my mask from this company and support a local business! I have been patiently trying to get assistance and help with my mask as their one sized fits all doesn't support all faces...like mine. They have since made masks for ALL face types (which is amazing) but offered me no alternative. I have been trying to connect with someone to receive a new mask or refund. I spoke briefly on IG with a person that asked me to mail back the mask (pay for shipping) which I struggle to understand given there is a pandemic and mailing a used mask back on my own dime was a terrible idea. I love their brand but I have been disappointed with how my situation is being treated. I want nothing more for local businesses to succeed especially at a time like this, but I can't stand behind their customer service with their product. I am bummed out that this 6 week process of trying to source support or a mask that fits my face properly is still left unanswered!

I ordered two bamboo masks on May 18 and paid $55.98 CDN. They haven't arrived yet and it is June 2. I've been patient but today I finally decided to track them using the SHOP app for the first time as suggested but there is no record of the order. I notice that there is no phone number for customer service but hopefully my email will have a positive result. My next step will be to contact my credit card to report fraud.

When you purchase online this great company has a section for notes. Mel and her team is great at reading them and help to accommodate you in whatever way they can. I was sent children's size masks as well. When I tried to contact the owner through email, I was completely ignored. I paid over $100 (2 sets of 3 masks + shipping) and now I have useless masks that are too small for me or my loved ones to use. Scroll through the reviews and you will see I am not the only one. What kind of company takes advantage of their customers like this during these hard economic times? I bought these masks because I wanted to protect my loved ones and Olive and Splash took advantage of that. Please do NOT buy from them. Please shop around before you commit to buying from them. Update: Wow, the owner actually replied to me, but not through the emails I sent her, but through this Google review because she knew people could see it. The reply from the owner is quite polite and seems like she cares. Impressive! This company had an advantage in that it was one of the first few to offer selling masks long before Dr. Tan recommended it. I can rest easy knowing Olive and Splash is facing a lot of competition from other entrepreneurs out there and no longer enjoyed their temporary monopoly. I'm happy to see a lot of companies selling cloth face masks online and and I did end up ordering from a company based in Calgary called hippohug.ca. I was pleased with the overall mask itself because it actually covered up my nose and mouth, the two vulnerable points for COVID 19. As for the masks I bought from Olive and Splash, they're in the landfill. It was an expensive mistake and if I can persuade one person to think twice before ordering from Oliver and Splash, I will feel better. Once again, I am not the only disgruntled customer to order from this company who were sent inferior masks. Take the time to read through all the Google reviews and shop around.

Bought two masks black and striped light mask. Each were fairly expensive at $25 compared to other reusable mask sellers. Wanted these for the bamboo material and thought they would be more comfortable. Sadly as many other reviews are stating the mask are poorly sized and designed. The black mask was super tiny child sized. The striped mask was bigger and could cover the face but the loops were too big and not elastic nor adjustable. The two difference in mask size and many poor reviews showed they were aware of the size problem yet continued to sell the mask. At this price point I expect an excellent working product. Very disappointing. Would not recommend this company for masks.

Masks look nice with soft fabric. However, they are not breathable. I sent shopping for 10 minutes with it on, it was very difficult to breathe. It is not worth the money.

We love this company! They have outfitted our whole family. The style and fit of the hoodies is perfect! We size up a couple sizes for our kids and rolls the sleeves until the grow into them. Material washes well and doesn't wear down over time. We ordered face masks for our family+friends, everyone loves them and we all look like Bane for Batman! ????????

The customer service Olive and Splash provided was outstanding and I was provided a lot of info about the company and how to take care of my masks. Just purchased and picked up three face masks from Olive + Splash. They are so great! The material stretches with your face when it moves, it’s super soft and feels so nice on your skin. And the big bonus for me is that the material is breathable while also keeping my family safe during Covid times. It’s hot and humid today and this mask is easy to keep on since it keeps cool! The price is good for an easy to use, easy to clean, great quality, reusable mask. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. It’s great to be able to shop local and pick up local in the drive thru, and not have to worry about shipping times!

Company doesn't appear to support any diversity using models of different ethnic backgrounds in advertising their masks. What a shame in the year of 2020, we have to beg brands to be inclusive. UPDATE: I'm sorry Olive and Splash owner, but what you claim is not consistant with what I have seen and I have looked through both your website and IG past photos and have not seen models with a wide range of skin tones from light skin to dark skinned. I'm not sure what your definition of inclusive is but it doesn't reflect the rest of the general population.

Not too happy. A pleasant person greeted us at the curbside window. She herself wore no mask even though we had to drive up closely - we had to be closer than 6 feet. This seemed ironic that the person serving us masks - wore no mask herself. We were invited to try a mask on for size. No thanks. Who, I wondered, has tried it on before us for sizing! It all seemed rather casual behind the window. We 2 and the person serving us made the best guess possible re our sizing. Our 3 masks were then passed over to us bare - without any packaging at all. That is, from hand to hand. The mask itself is soft and it's big enough top to bottom and side to side. And that's good. A lot of cloth masks seem a bit shallow. BUT the elastic loops are very large and provide us zero fit - even though I have a fairly large face and head. The website advises to tie a knot in the elastic to make a better fit. I have tried doing that without cutting it and it's uncomfortable behind the ear and the mask doesn't stay put. It may be better if I cut the elastic and make a neat knot or sew the ends together. If I do a knot, I'm not sure if that knot is better situated at the lower end of my ear or in the middle or top. I am feeling rather annoyed b/c I have purchased other better fitting cloth masks.

I drive thru on Sept 7th just after noon. The woman at the window was lovely and informative. I purchased four masks for my kids. I wasn’t offered a receipt and I didn’t even think about it until I got home and looked at the masks. I got the infinity ones. I did question their mesh look and asked about if they held breath in and were ok for schools and that’s when she said they were a lot more breathable but still held breath in. She said they’d sold hundreds for kids. Again, this review isn’t a knock at the person in the window. She was nice. I just felt mislead. I have sent two emails with my bank statement and a pic of these masks asking for some kind of refund. I haven’t heard back. This store could do a lot better if they had more customer service. They could turn a negative thing into a positive. I just haven’t had any response; which leads me to believe they don’t take a lot of accountability. Just too bad.

I am so pleased with the clothing purchased from Olive & Splash! I have a a hooded sweatshirt for my daughter and I and a pair of high waisted joggers. The material is so cozy and soft and the clothing looks beautiful with the added zipper on the side of the sweatshirts and ankles of the pants. I would highly recommend buying your masks here! The bamboo fabric is so soft and easy to wear and can be stretched or shrunk to fit your face just right. The exceptional customer service, quick response, care and attention to detail from Melanie was amazing! The Ultra Lightweight Air Mask is perfect for summer and is wonderful to wear. AT LAST !!!! I LOVE THESE MASKS!!! FINALLY FOUND A MASK THAT FITS AND IS COMFORTABLE TO WEAR! I am a business professional and I have to wear a mask for 12 hour days! The mask is comfortable and breathable and fits to perfection! I also have very sensitive skin that previous masks has irritated and gave me break outs. Since purchasing OLIVE AND SPLASH’s product I have not had a breakout or rash on my face ! I ended up buying some for my nieces and nephews as well and they love them.

I bought 2 bamboo masks - when they arrived I opened the package and held the material up to the light and you can see right through the masks. How could these possibly prevent the spread of COVID19 particles if you can see through it? I wrote a kind email to request a refund as they meet some people's expectations but certainly not mine or that of what public health officials recommend. I requested my money back. I sent the two masks which cost over $30 back at my own expense. After I had already mailed them, I got a response saying that they could not accept any exchange or refund and that I should give them to a family member. Did they not read or take heed of my comments about why I was returning them? In my mail box today, I have received these two masks back. They will be going straight into the garbage. No one should wear these if they wish to protect themselves. I am sure that this company was trying to make a breathable mask, to appear as though one is following face mask wearing requirements but, I am sorry to say, but in my opinion, you should not be selling these - please don't sell these any longer. Some people may not realize that they are not being truly protected from this virus. I realize that you are trying to help, but these just simply do not protect anyone.

Just picked up my Olive + Splash masks today and I love them! They were ready for pick up in 2 days and the drive thru window was great! The colours, quality and fit are great. I even got a beautiful violet one. I would definitely recommend these to everyone, if masks are going to become our new normal they might as well look and feel good!! Thanks for making them????.

The following message was emailed twice to the company and as yet we have had no response. The company has no published phone number a concern to be sure! "My husband recently ordered 2 black bamboo face masks which we received last week. Unfortunately we are finding that the fit is not what we expected. We both have small narrow faces and find that the mask is not large enough for our faces. With this, we also find that once we loop the elastic behind our ears, our ears are pulled forward and the masks slip off. We are unable to use $69.91 worth of masks!" We would not recommend purchasing from this company as customer service does not appear to be a priority especially during so challenging a time.

Just picked up some bamboo face masks today from Olive + Splash. Seems as though these will be a necessity for some time to come. Excellent , contactless, drive thru service for locals to pick up products that they order and pay for online. Very happy with the product as it is made from bamboo, very soft, breathable & well made. The face masks I purchased were O/S . If any of them felt a bit bigger for one of us to wear I simply popped it in the dryer after it was washed and it shrunk up perfectly. Will hang to dry from now on. Olive + Splash had a lot of masks in stock and they had my order ready in a week for pick up. I was given the opportunity to buy more after seeing the quality and fit at the window. Highly recommend :)

I ordered my first 3 pack of bamboo masks on April 3rd after watching a story on City News about Olive+Splash. I gave one of the 3 to my sister, a frontline grocery clerk. They were soft, comfortable and breathable. I have since placed 2 further orders. My sister also placed a further order. She will often change her mask up to 3 to 4 times during a shift and, as a result, has quite an array of masks. By far, the Olive+Splash masks are her ultimate favourite. In an effort to support my local businesses on the Danforth I've purchased a few masks, however, they can't compare to Olive+Splash for comfort and especially appearance. They are gorgeous, and as such, I've received many compliments. I highly recommend them.

Absolute waste of money!! I received 3 masks and each one was smaller than the other. Even the largest mask is not big enough for an adult to use. Elastic straps are of very poor quality and do nothing to keep the mask on your face. You’d be better served using a scarf or even a kitchen towel! A complete rip-off!

This company doesn't deserve the one star! I ordered 5 Black Bamboo Face Mask and instead I received 5 Children Teen and Smaller Adult Face masks instead. I tried reaching out to the owner Melanie and all I received was a bunch of excuses. As you can see the first two photos are of my masks that I received, and the other two photos is what I ordered and on her web site, which I thought I was getting. Buyers be aware I was ripped off!

Not a pleasant experience unfortunately..unreliable company..I ordered and paid Air Mask Ultra Light-Weight - Black and White Strip online, and chose the pick-up option..However, when I arrived at the drive-thru, I was told that the black and white strip Air Mask was sold out due to a pop-up sale..which I do not quiet understand as I have already paid for the item I purchased.. the air mask I ordered should have been put aside for pick-up..also I was not informed beforehand that the item was not available for pickup anymore..so I was left with no choice but to pick one of the four masks that were still available...really disappointed with the customer service..I would not buy again and do not recommend buying..

Mask’s are made with high quality soft material and very well constructed. Stretchy fabric straps are very comfortable and don’t irritate like regular elastic. We were really happy with them and returned to purchase more masks and a couple of sweaters as well.

Great product! Soft material... I would suggest having a wire in the nose area to allow for a snugger fit to prevent glasses from fogging up. But other than that very satisfied with this locally made product!

Honestly everyone needs a piece from Olive & Splash. I have a good few things and they are hard to top. I have a couple long hoodies, the cropped hoodie, joggers, and a toque. My husband has a couple long hoodies that look dynamite on him. My 15 month old son has a hoodie and a onesie and they are the cutest. Everything is so cozy, stylish. The bamboo material feels so amazing on the skin, and when you wash everything it stays just a nice as the 1st time you put it on. Just do not put in dryer. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself ;)

I see others have had the same issue, not sure if that should make me feel better or not. I messaged Olive + Splash’s Instagram page as I found their website confusing when it came to sizing and descriptions. Whomever answered advised me to purchase the children’s air mask for my 11 year old daughter. She also suggested that a regular S/M mask would fit also. I ordered one of each to be safe. The child’s mask barely covers her mouth... it looks like it would fit a toddler. The S/M also fits funny but is more accurate with sizing. The air mask’s tag/label also wasn’t sew on properly, it’s hanging on by a thread so I don’t feel like I can even re-sell to try to recoup the loss. I messaged the company on Instagram immediately with these issues and pictures of the tag hanging off and it was read but no reply. This was weeks ago. Disappointing after spending $56 for TWO unusable masks. Most disappointed in the poor customer service. Luckily I’ve found somewhere local that masks superior masks for much cheaper.

Masks are way too small and not as advertised. When we highlighted this to the owners we were asked to come by their place... we did, thinking they would make it right. Instead, we received push back and Olive and Splash saying they were fine. Really? And so we asked to return them... and were told sorry, no refunds as per their website. Really? Website show masks that are much larger, the masks we received don’t even cover our nose and mouths at the same time during regular use. So they are completely useless, our opinion. So sad to see entrepreneurs have such a short sighted approach to their customers and business. I sincerely hope Olive and Splash learn from this. Entrepreneurs are inspiring and such a lifeblood of Canada. Olive and Splash, please do entrepreneurs proud and perhaps adjust your product, your honesty in representing the product you sell and your customer service approach. Please stay safe and healthy. Update to my review in response to owner response. May 2nd 6:15pm. A few items of clarity: - the masks did not fit perfectly, they don’t fit at all and they are not being used. We purchased other masks elsewhere since. We spent $80 or so for masks from Olive & Splash and they are useless to us. Colour had nothing to do with displeasure and request for a refund. - Whether you can reuse the masks or not is really not the point. It is whether you sold a mask that is functional or not for the customer who put their faith in your product and expected a fit comparable to what was advertised on your website. They are not functional based on our experience. Any claim you make that the masks we purchased from you are functional is simply false. Claiming otherwise is saying we are making false statements. We have no reason to make this claim other than the truth, they don’t work based on our experience. - Prior to publicly providing this product review I sent you a thoughtful email directly to you after my wife returned home sharing her disappointment, which I also felt. That email expressed that I was saddened by your response and saddened at an entrepreneur taking such a short sighted view of customer service. I did not receive any response to that email and as our masks sat idle, and I witnessed a review on your website by another customer that your masks were not functional due to size I felt a responsibility to also alert potential buyers to our own experience as well. - There are many things you could have done or could do short of a refund that would have been a positive response that would have created a tremendous customer experience rather than what we experienced. And that in the bigger scheme of being a customer centric entrepreneur that prides themselves in quality products and satisfied customers would have had a tremendous impact at very little cost to your company. - I will not pursue this further. Should you wish to make it right, that is your choice and it is for you to determine what that might be. - Should you wish to respond via this review process to this, that is also a decision you can make. This response to you here is primarily to ensure accuracy and clarity of the situation and my review. - I sincerely wish Olive and Splash tremendous success and hope that there are continuous learnings you take to heart as you grow and as you endeavour to create customer delight in the experiences they have with your company and products. Our experience was terribly disappointing. Latest update - 2020/05/22 - Tragic. The terrible reviews keep coming in and the company appears to still ignore. Rinse, repeat the same terrible business practice. Magnified tenfold due to that fact people are buying these masks to protect themselves from a deadly disease but yet the Olive and Splash response (and this is my opinion based upon my own experience and the reviews I read here)... ‘yaaaa we realized there was a size problem and sort of tried to fix it but hey, problems are still happening... yaaa, just noise so let’s continue taking advantage of this horrible situation and our customers. Honestly, I am really disappointed with this company. I was looking forward to trying out their bamboo masks because of all the great reviews. I can’t review their masks because it was never shipped out. This review is about their customer service. I placed my order on July 7th, I ordered 4 different masks for over $100. I was expecting to receive tracking information within 48 hours. Which I didn’t, so I sent my first email on July 9th asking them for shipping confirmation. I didn’t hear back from them so I decided to send a follow up email on July 10th. After about an hour I sent the second email I finally received the confirmation email with a tracking #. I got excited thinking that it would be shipped out the next day or so. Well it didn’t, I kept checking the tracking # on a daily basis and it only said that the shipment label has been created. So, on July 17th I decided to send the company another follow up email, asking them when they will be shipping out my order. Still didn’t hear back from them, so I emailed them for the fourth time on July 20th asking them for a refund if they don’t ship out my order within the week and now I await for their reply. It really annoys me that the company has time to upload pictures to Instagram but can’t even find time to reply to a paying customer’s email. If there is a delay with shipping or if items are on back order, the first thing you should do is contact the customer to give them a head ups. I definitely will not be making another purchase from this company and will not recommend anyone to purchase from them. FYI – my emails were sent to info@oliveandsplash.com UPDATE: I ended up sending an email on the morning of July 22 stating that I wanted to cancel my order due to the lack of response. That afternoon I received an email from Canada Post saying that my order has been shipped. I believe it was express shipping because I received my order on July 23rd(next day). I ordered 4 masks and they were all in the correct size. The company sent an additional mask, I'm assuming as a gift, which was nice surprise. Only thing is though, that throughout this whole process, I never once got a reply to any of the emails that I sent. Honestly, the mask itself pretty good, it's soft to the touch and lightweight. It is exactly how it is described on the website. I ordered s/m and m/l, the s/m is on the smaller side, it will fit children or someone with a really small face. Would I purchase from this company again? As of right now, no and it's because of the lack of customer service. I hope they take the time to improve their customer service, because the product itself is actually pretty good quality.

Negative star for lack of response. After I ordered an emerald green mask for pick up, I realized I couldn’t go there for a few weeks. Emailed if they can just ship to me and I will buy another mask and add on shipping cost. Nothing, no reply. After I finally made my way there in 3 weeks, I was told the emerald green colour was not in stock. Honestly, how long does it take it to respond to emails on such trivial matters? The guy at the pick up window didn’t look busy at all. Terrible customer service

Absolutely adore these masks!!! My children (ages 7 and 9) actually wear them! They don't pull them off, they don't try and adjust them a millions times and they don't complain. The fabric is so soft and they are very well made. Highly recommend!

Olive and Splash is by far one of my favorite brands and we have always been so proud to wear O&S products. The products are truly incredible!!!! My daughter still wears the very first sweater I purchased for her 4.5 years ago...if that’s not quality I don’t know what is! We always size up when purchasing for my daughter, which allows the products to last for years. We have purchased everything from t-shirts, sweatpants, leggings, sweatshirts, hats, and scrunchies for both the adults and kid in our family and have never been disappointed.

I absolutely love the infinity masks! I have severe allergies and have been having difficulties finding a mask that I dont find it hard to breathe in. We had tried atleast a dozen different styles and kinds of masks looking for something that worked with no luck...until now. I purchased 2 of the infinity masks and I couldn't be happier! They are super soft and comfortable, I was able to wear it for hours with no issues at all and its the only mask that truly doesn't fog my glasses. They are amazing!!

Very disappointed in my last order. Bought 3 masks supposed to be bamboo and it wasn't. I emailed the company to have them resolve the issue and no response. I spent a lot of money to get the bamboo material for my child with sensory challenges. Save your money and purchase elsewhere. This company has no customer service or appreciation for Canadians supporting local businesses.

I recently learned about this company through a friend and my family couldn't be happier with the products. I ordered Infinity masks for the whole family and outfits for the kids. The quality of their products are phenomenal and I finally found a mask that can be worn all day without any irritation, we sometimes forget it's on our face. I can't say enough great things about the products I picked up, I will definitely be back for more. Do yourself a favour and try the products.

I picked up a set of three masks and the air light weight mask yesterday. I ordered in the morning and was able to pick up same day through the drive through window. It was fast and efficient. The masks are super comfortable and quality is great.

The infinity "mask" they sell is horribly immoral. It is layers of mesh. They even offer a 2 layer version, 2 layers of mesh. They should not be selling a mask/face covering that does 0% to protect others. Their other masks look great, but I'd never buy from a company that profits from anti-masker non-sense. I'm asthmatic and have no problem wearing a mask. My child is a competitive dancer and dances in a mask. This product is unnecessary and dangerous. It really tarnishes the business.

I ordered masks from Olive and Splash a couple of weeks ago - and the service was great! They answered all my questions, were honest about delivery times and made an excellent product!.The masks are really comfortable - err a little on the side of a larger fit, which is perfect because you can adjust the loops around the ears for a more comfortable fit rather than having it too tight. Highly recommend!

Ive order a womens hoodie, a childs hoodie, and a face mask from Olive and Splash and have been so happy with all 3 items. I keep the mask in the car ( washing after use) in case I need to stop somewhere. Even if its not medical grade, it prevents me from touching my face when out. My husband wears it too. The hoodies are the softest and wash so well! Cant wait to get the rest of the fam matches ones!

Wish I read about the reviews from this company before purchasing. Bought a mask, liked it, the size was perfect so I ordered another mask of the same type but in 3ply as I didn’t realize how sheer the other one was (she has claims all over insta/other places claiming you can’t see how sheer it is while it’s on but that’s a big fat lie). Nowhere on the site does it say the measurements are different from the 2ply to 3ply, mind you. The new order comes in and it is SMALL. I can’t even talk without it coming off my face. It’s super short on my cheeks as well. I contacted them via email - no reply. I write on insta only to get a short voice memo sent back saying how the pattern is the same but the 3ply ends up being smaller. Okay? So if you know this where is the info on the site. She asked me if I had it shipped/picked up so I replied shipped. No reply for days. Sent another message only for her to tell me to email her. I said I had a week prior with no response. She read my message and hasn’t bothered getting back to me. Really sad, poor service and I’m extremely disappointed in the price point, product and customer service. Do yourself a favour and purchase elsewhere. She doesn’t seem to care about getting back to customers buying her high priced items. - Eleni P.

Google should have an option for ZERO stars. Don't ever buy anything from this place. She is taking advantage of people at a bad time. Taking our money and ZERO customer service. I wanted to purchase 2 Bamboo no elastic air masks and she was out of stock for a while. I contacted her and she replied with an approximate date of arrival. I live very far from Burlington but I needed masks for obvious reasons and I thought it's best to support Local Canadian business. Finally the masks I want arrived. I drive over an hour to her Drive through window, she grabs 2 out of her basket and hands them to me. I did not have a chance to even look at them until I got home as there was someone else behind me. I assumed she handed me the correct ones and I was not about to try them on before I could wash them first. When I got home I washed them and laid them to dry as per instructions.They seemed really small and when I tried them I knew they were the the wrong size. I kept following her on instagram to see if I missed anything when I ordered and I see all the pics of herself and other grown ups modelling them and they look like they fit properly and cover your face and chin well. Then finally she does a story and shows the different sizes and I recorded her story to watch it and make sure that I was not wrong. I showed my friends the story and my mask and they all agreed that the size she gave me is wrong. I sent her an email Saturday afternoon showing her the issue and asking for her to get me 2 correct sizes in place of her wrong sizes. followed up twice, finally she replies today with this: " Olive + Splash 4:13 PM (2 hours ago) to me Hi Joanna, Thank you for the support and email. There are no returns or exchanges on the masks due to COVID-19. The product was shown to the purchaser and the purchaser agreed to the product, unfortunately there is zero returns on face masks and washed products. We are happy to extend a discount on your next order, if that should help. Thank you for reaching out and have a wonderful day" +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ She did not fulfill the order correctly! I ordered by the online info I had which is a photo of a grown up wearing a mask that fits well. There were no size options available and I was not choosing from the kids portion. Your niceties are worthless. I paid almost $60 for 2 masks that I can't use but I need . And I will never spend another dollar at your shop, discount or not.

Disappointed in lack of customer Service On April 6th I was perusing the Olive + Splash website. I had accidentally added a pack of masks to my cart. The next thing I knew, a pop up came up requesting my email;Thinking this was for an email newsletter I submitted! My next prompt was a confirmation of purchase. I was shocked as I did not input my credit card information, address, not even my name. I emailed the company RIGHT away (within three minutes) to let them know what had happened, and to please cancel my order as it was made in error. I didn’t hear from anyone in over a week so I opted to message them on Social Media. I received a message back right away with a cellphone number to contact. When I spoke with Melanie, the owner directly, She explained to me that it's very busy, completely understandable, and cannot possibly respond to emails from customers. After explaining the situation in detail, she was just as shocked as I was. She asked me to contact my credit card company right away, and she would do her part and contact her IT dept. She promised me that we would get to the bottom of this and rectify the situation immediately, and told me to contact her directly, as I now had her personal cellphone number. In doing some further research it appears her website uses and app called Shopify. To confirm, I have never registered with shopify, nor do I have my credit card information saved on my cellphone. While I know this does not reflect her company directly, I contacted Shopify to have all my information removed from their records. I contacted Melanie right away, as she requested, to inform her of my findings. In my message I reminded her that I had originally emailed her right away, and asked that she could honour my request, and just cancel my order. Didn’t hear anything. Messaged her two days later. Still nothing. To top things off, I got a notification from Canada Post ONE WEEK after speaking with her, stating that they had JUST received my shipment. I messaged her AGAIN to explain to her my frustrations. Still, to this day, have not heard a word. Received the masks, and they are far less than I ever expected. While I understand these are by no means medical grade masks, they are not at all as advertised. They do NOT fit anyone in our family, myself, my son or my boyfriend. While I will always support local when I can, It’s sad to say, I have never been so disappointed in a local business. It’s sad to see young entrepreneurs have absolutely no regard for customer service. In fact when asked about the situation Melanie stated that she "simply does not have time for customer service." Even went as far as saying that I probably lied, and had "buyers remorse," which was certainly not the case. Not only did I pay $52 for masks that will get NO use, I paid $15 for shipping for a local business I could have picked up from. I don't expect to hear from Melanie any further, as she's made it very clear that she does not wish to help me any further. I felt it necessary to inform everyone about my situation. Hope it helps

I was really excited to order these masks as I heard amazing things and wanted to see if bamboo would help my maskne. I wear a mask for 10+ hours a day and really wanted to invest in the right ones. I was totally fine with spending 58$ on two well made, local masks. HOWEVER when they arrived they were MASSIVE. I ordered the air mask ultra light weight in pink and blue. When put on my face, the mask was so large that it went down to my chin. I tried tying the ears but when I did the sides open up and make the mask ineffective. The past couple weeks I have tried to reach out to this company via email, social media etc with no response. As I am reading some reviews here it seems like I am not the only one who has experienced terrible customer service. I understand there are no refunds, although a good company would acknowledge that their products are defective and respond to their paying customers.

I recently purchased several of the new masks for me and my family members. I have a smaller face so needed to tighten the elastic straps by tying a little knot on each side and voila, it fits me perfect. My fiancé and brother have much larger faces and the masks fit them really well without requiring any adjustment. Everyone raved about the quality, comfort and style. These masks are a very small part of Olive and Splashs’ business and shows how they were quickly able to see the market need, adjust their production, and pour so much time and attention into making these much requested masks. I have also purchased sweaters, children’s clothing and toques for myself and for gifts and the feedback has always been overwhelmingly positive. Keep up the great work O&S!

I'm loving everything! I was recently introduced to the infinity mask by a friend. It's the only mask I can wear working out because I have a haaaard time breathing in other masks. I am so thankful for this invention! I also ordered the hoodie and sweatpants in black of course. It's my new uniform because I wear it everyday and refuse to take it off...like ever. It's sooo soft and cozy!
