I really wanted to like this place, but for a thrift store the prices are just way to high. the store is dirty and has a rough atmosphere. The parking lot is like the surface of the ocean and full of ridges, holes, and valleys. suspension beware. the store is full of broken garbage of questionable origin. There may be some good finds here..... but I have never found them.

I love this store. It's stocked full of many different selections and I most appreciate the fact that they give some of their proceeds of every sale to the MS Society and they are a big part of the local chapter. As someone who lives with the struggles of Multiple Sclerosis it is very good to know that businesses like this truly care. The staff are very courteous and very welcoming. The Score is a must see for anybody who's looking for amazing deals on many different things I recommended highly stopping in.

Awesome place to shop, prices are great with deals every single day, sometimes even %50 off. Staff is extremely friendly and always happy to help. Store is organized nicely and very clean and easy to shop though! They have new and used items, for amazing deals, and will sometimes even go lower if it's been there for awhile! Defintely worth checking out

Their new location is very big. Well laid out and easy to navigate. Very disappointed with the retail prices. Small kitchen appliances, furniture, bedding, area rugs are extremely over priced.

Terrible customer service. Incompetent employees. Extremely disorganized with no real way if tracking sold items. My wife and I had agreed with an employee to purchase a sectional that was previously on hold when we initially appeared in store to purchase it. After explaining that we were out of town and unable to appear in store until the next day they agreed to display a sold sign on the sectional and reassured us it would be our as long as we made it in by the end of day next day to purchase it. We did offer to leave a credit card number to show our serious interest and willingness to buy this piece but we were told that they don't take payment over the phone and was unnecessary as it would be available to us the next day. The morning of the next day we get a call that someone else was interested and that the sectional was going to be sold to the first person to show up. Even after admitting to finding our note with intention to purchase and being promised availability until end of day they refused to correct their mistake with the other customer and inform them of the sectional already being sold. Sure enough with us being out of town and the other customer being local we were unable to arrive at the store on time and got the call that the couch was sold as we were en route to the store. Had we known this was going to happen and that their guarantee mean absolutely nothing we would have adjusted our plans and cut our family visit short and made ourselves available to purchase day of making the agreement. My wife and I will never step foot in this store again! Sincerely, Furious Former Customers

I used to frequent The Score often for great deals. They always had a wonderful mix of items, new, liquidated, used, it was all there. When stopping by after a while, I was extremely disappointed. The store was dirty, disorganized and just looking plain bad. Items were everywhere, the great layout they had previously was all changed and it was just a horde of... stuff. I hope they get better organized and choose to take better care of their store in the near future.

As an employee it feels a bit strange posting s review. The people I work for are the most amazing people I have ever met. They treat every one of their employees like family. It is expected that as a team we treat our customers as such as well. We refer to our customers and employees as our Score family. In all this is the best place I have ever worked. Their continued support of their community and the MS Society is inspiring. I cannot imagine a better place or better people to work for and with!

Posting a bit of a warning, we purchased a hood fan from this place. We were warned by a CUSTOMER in the store not to purchase things from here and they were peddling junk... ignored it and bought anyways. 1 month later and it blew up. was "new in box". Lesson learned...shady place.

Brockville is blessed with several thrift & discount stores. This is one of my regular ones to go to. The staff are friendly, accommodating, & the store is quite clean, plus there are a few change rooms & a customer bathroom. U can find both used & newer liquidated goods here, mostly clothing for the family, but also small household goods, some furniture & appliances, electronics, books, CDs, DVDs, beauty & health items & food. A little bit of everything. All sales are final with the exception of clothing which can be returned with original tags for a store credit or exchange. Also every day a different colour of price tag is half price, & sometimes there are bonus sales!

I find this place over priced with both new and used items. Visited the place a few times without buying anything because of their inflated prices. New items are comparable to the specialized stores that carry similar items and the used items are comparable to new items.
