Lots and lots of party supplies for children and adults. Prices are fair, of course there are items that might be more expensive than other places (ex: solid color plates and utensils) but the convenience of finding all in one place can make up for that but you can always get your main party flavour here and get the rest of your items at a dollar store per say. Employees are very helpful -in my own personal experience - and they assist me in finding the items I’m looking for. We come here every year to get our birthday supplies.

Ain't no party like a party city party. Incidentally my helium balloon still follows me around my apartment 2 months later. So much for 4 days. It's perfectly deflated to the point where the hot air turbulence from the baseboard heaters pushes it around my apartment. It's like it likes me!

I'm planning my mom's 70th bday and was doing some comparison shopping. Overall, it's too expensive. The pics were some of the items I'm comparing mixed with hard to find pieces. One of the pics shows disposable helium tanks, which I'm surprised and how few balloons they fill. The store doesn't do tank rentals and an individual 9" balloon is 1.99 to fill. 2 bucks to make a balloon float! No thanks. What the store is good for is specialty items and themes. While their intent would be to make this a one stop, party planning, shop, I'd rather stock up on basics at Dollarama, Dollar Tree and on apps like Wish. I've also never seen the store in a state of completion. I don't know if it's my timing but everytime I'm there the seasonal section, which is the first aisle and impression you see is half stocked with a lot of bare shelves. It is an American Chain brand new to Canada but it reminds me of Targets failures in Canada where half empty shelves meant completely empty stores because customers stopped going.

I will never go into this party city ever again. I went in to the store this evening not realizing that they were closing at 8:30 On entering the store the the first thing that was shouted out was "we close in 5 min". No good evening or welcome to party city. Then at 8:30 another shout out "the store is now closed. I understand where they would like to leave work but it could have been expressed in a nice tone. I went to shop for items for a wedding reception. I will be going to the location in Langley to give them the business as the Abbotsford location does not need the business

If you just need a balloon and cards then dollar store is still cheaper but if you need a bunch of things and don't want to drive to different places this is the place you want to go. Also they have a crazy assortment of balloons that you won't see at the dollar store from tropical animals too the avengers characters

We have been to several Party City stores all over USA. So, we decided to check out this location to get some party supplies. And the store didn't disappoint us with its large collection of goods for fair prices. If you are looking for birthday party supplies or items for theme parties along with Halloween costumes, this store won't disappoint. The perfect party decorations, they stock is also commendable. With ample parking spaces, I think this store should be your go-to destination when planning to get party supplies.

To start the parking lots were very nice, the customers seemed to be very organized and patient. upon entering the store I was greeted by a ecstatic eccentric employee who was ready to help me with my every whim. the store smelt of helium which I really liked and chemicals which I LOVE (the kids love them too!) this store really put me in the mood for holiday. The store was stocked to the brim with festive goodies, the masks were very elaborate and the costumes priced affordably, the employees did not wear face masks at all which I loved. The food was delicious (I could eat here every day of my life). All in all I will never be returning to this location again. 10/10 stars.

I’m very impressed by what Party City has to offer, they’re a one-stop shop for all things party related and they have stuff for all ages! Room decorations, tableware, table decorations, serveware, catering items, balloons, helium tanks, party games, party favors, candy and more! If its party related, they probably have it! The store is really well organized by product type/category and color as well, you have to see it to know what I mean. But they literally have a whole section for blue party supplies, one for red, one for gold, etc.! Very easy to find what you’re looking for! Not only do they have things for all categories, but they have every occasion covered as well; birthdays, engagement parties, weddings, retirement, sports events and of course seasonal items like Christmas, New Years, Halloween, Easter, Summer, whatever the occasion they have probably have it covered. Do note that seasonal items are of course only available seasonally! It’s also worth mentioning that their selection of Halloween Costumes is quite significant and well organized, definitely worth checking out next October. This store is conveniently located on Macleod Trail not far from Southland Drive and has a good amount of parking. Did I mention they’re quite affordable as well? Party City is actually part of the biggest party goods supplier in North America, which means tons of inventory for us at lower prices! The biggest downfall? Service is just okay… and definitely varies. Still worth a visit when you’re planning your next event or party. Also before buying online I’d stop in, you might be surprised by price points comparable to online and you won’t have to wait for shipping. Cheers to your next celebration!

I was with my mom and my wife to buy balloons. One was for my dad’s 60th birthday and another balloon was for my wife’s babyshower. The asian guy from the cashier was accommodating and helpful. He was helping us to choose the right balloon. Everything was fun, until someone that works there blonde, fat woman told us to shut up, because she was on the phone. While in a current shock, I answered her back and told her that we did not know she was on the phone while we were getting help with the balloons and told her that they should prioritize their costumer first. Her approach was very rude! We waited in line for our turn like everybody else and we didn’t expect such inappropriate behaviour! >:( All nice workers except for that rude karen blonde old lady.

I just looked online for a bald cap. I live in Kitchener and the only ones in stock are at the Cambridge location. I drove all the way here just to buy this item but when I got to the store none were located on the shelf. When i asked for help the young lady looked in the system and found them but they had no location. She asked an associate and was told that i can't buy it until it is on the shelf. There were 3 ataff members standing there doing basically nothing and not 1 of them would even attempt to go in the back to find this item for me. The height of laziness. I am so disappointed in the service here. I WAS going to a costume event as Professor Xavier, but unless i actually shave my head, i will have to find another costume. I doubt i will wver come to this location again. The management should be aware that their staff is turning away business. I have probably spent 130 dollars already today. Sorry about your loss. To add to this, i have changed my costume idea. As i sit in the parking lot inCambridge, i am going to drive to Kitchener to buy what i need there instead of walking 50 feet and going in tge Cambrudge store. .youve lost my business forever.

Their online shopping set up is not conducive to ordering their balloons! I understand there isn’t much they can do because of the lockdown but ordering balloons online and waiting hours and even days for someone to call you back only to tell you that you now need to go back online and pay for helium before you pick them up is insane. I also didn’t get one of the balloons I ordered because they were “out” but no one I spoke to on the phone during one of our many back and forth conversations ever mentioned to me they weren’t including that balloon I already paid for. Very frustrating customer experience! We are paying top dollar by choosing to shop at party city when there are cheaper alternatives so I believe I am justified in expecting better customer service.

Never buying Halloween props here again! It was a waste of my money! The "Pumpkin" battery operated lights I bought: only 3 out of 4 pk worked! The clown make up kit my daughter used, said she had to apply multiple coats of the paint to get a bold, filled out, look. I bought a mini strobe light for our small bathroom upstairs, to create a "spooky" look for people coming up the driveway, It did nothing to the effect. I went to this store thinking they sold high quality products, but I was disappointed with the outcome! I may as well have went to the Dollar Store!

I had a horrible experience with a short-haired woman working at Party City. I asked her about a shirt as she was on a ladder & she repeatedly, very rudely, continued to say, "What size." She was so rude and it was very uncomfortable. When I tried to confirm a price with her, she immediately said to look below the item beside me in a very rude way. Overall, my cashier was very nice, but some employees need to be nicer.

The manager, Lucas went out of his way to help us when our Rental Decorations from another shop seem to go awry. He even offered to loan us one of his own tables. After picking out replacements, our original store came through, but Lucas was gracious and kind. I will definitely go back to Party City for my future events. The selection is enormous, well laid out, and a feast for the eyes. Kudos to this great store!

Staff sent me to the back of a massive, understaffed lineup because I hadn't pre-selected my balloons. Upon re-entering the lineup, multiple customers had also made the same mistake yet they were allowed to quickly pick their balloons on the fly and get in the helium queue. By the time I got back up to the front I was told there was a 30 min wait because of all the people who got ahead of me!! For this reason alone it gets a 1star from me.

Would have given 2-stars for the weak service from the first employee but the second was more than decent. I was searching for a specific party theme items. The line cash register line up was about 6 deep with 2 on cash, not bad. Found an employee on the floor standing in an aisle she seemed to be a supervisor since the others where hustling around doing work. She seemed very annoyed with me asking of if they had the theme I was looking for saying it's out of season and nothing was left. She lead me to a random corner and stormed off. However bumped into another supervisor type, asked the same question and received a totally different response. He very enthusiastically lead me to a section set up with the specific theme. By the time I got what I needed the line up was about 15 deep with still only two on cash. By the time it got to 5 in line then they added other registers. So annoying.

There are so many different themes of party supplies here. To my disappointment they only have a tiny section of dinosaur themed items. I wanted to get a dinosaur helium balloon but it is a whopping $24+. I figured I would rather spend that on items that the birthday boy can actually keep. I did find a deal on Disney theme characters. Probably won't get all my party supplies here as the cost adds up quickly. Ironically there's a Dollarma right next to them who sells some similar items.

My husband and I stopped here on NYE for last minute party decorations. They still had a good amount of supplies and reasonably priced items. I have previously been to the other Party City in the North, but preferred this location. It’s a much larger store and easier to maneuver. The staff were very friendly, specifically our cashier Kiera. I will use this as our go-to party store in the future.

worst customer service experience ive had during this whole pandemic. i placed my order online, called 15 min later to check in and was told to wait another hour before they even processed my order, i called 2 hours later for over half an hour before finally getting an answer just to be told they dont do same day orders. i cancelled my order immediately after that call and will never shop here again and will personally tell as many people as i can to do the same. absolutely ridiculous. also both young folks i spoke to on the phone were incredibly rude

A good place to get party supplies and seasonal items. It's nice that things are organized by colour and theme. Staff is usually busy at the cash desks, so I haven't really had customer service other than being rung through. I very much prefer this, but others who might need help only need to ask one of the employees. It's even nice to come here sometimes to just look around and plan parties that may never happen.

Lots of stuff that is nicely colour coded so if you have a theme or a colour pallet in mind you can get your stuff quickly. The size of the store might surprise you - it’s quite deep inside. I find sometimes their seasonal stuff takes up an overwhelming amount of space, but that makes sense too because many people are hosting seasonal parties and… well… that is the market the cater to! We have had amazing results with their helium filled balloons. They last for days (weeks sometimes!) and when you have a house full of kids, a couple extra days with balloons is fun and with the extra cost. Speaking of cost, this place isn’t really dollar store prices (though, some of the merchandise is of that quality) - get ready to shell out more than you think for “must have” items ????

Very disappointed! Purchased a New Years party box for $19.99. Contained party features for 10 people. Hats were nice, party noise makers did not make any sound at all! That did not go over well at the party for 6 in our bubble. Party City has not done a great job of making their online shopping experience curb side friendly. After purchasing balloons online, there was no indication if the price included helium or not. I called to check and the staff said they would call later to confirm. Long story short, it was really clumsy and required 2 separate purchases through their online store just to get balloons filled with helium. Also Curb side pickup is supposed to eliminate the need for human contact. Making people get out of their vehicles to collect items at the door puts staff and customers at risk. Other stores are placing items in trunks/back seats to help keep a safe distance. The balloons are beautiful and made my birthday special because of the joy they brought to my kiddos, but not worth the price and peace of mind it cost.
