I didn't manage to get her name but there's a short middle-aged woman was a manager at this particular location. I've never seen someone be so rude and mean and demeaning to a new hire, she also turned around and was extremely rude to me because she thought I was a different customer. Honestly she is just miserable, really ruined my experience. It's sad to see a person behave that way. I'll avoid the location of I am able to shop elsewhere. Otherwise service was fine, and the location is average for a Canadian Tire.

Brockville store has been an absolute mess since ownership changed last year. Aisles blocked by half unpacked product, TVs on high volume blasting ads all over the place, frequent loud announcements playing from overhead speakers. Used to love this store but now avoid it. Very unfortunate.

Wow the best service I've ever had hands down! It was moving day and my car was accidentally injured while trying to change my tired over with a friend. I called Canadian tire and Allen Y answered and I explained it was an emergency. He was fully booked and still said come right away and I'll fit you in. They even fixed my exaust leak after asking me. Thanks Allen and his team! I will be getting them to change my tired back in the winter! Cheers boys!

Canadian Tire employees made sure my kayak wasn't roadkill! I just had a really great experience at The Brockville Canadian Tire. I bought a kayak online from my home and then drove 2 hours to the store to pick it up. I also needed to buy all the accessories, car rack etc... The customer service counter had my kayak ready when I arrived. Two very kind and patient employees brought it out to my car for me. They're not supposed to lift the kayak onto to the car but helped me lift it on because I was on my own and there was no way I could do it myself. The car department helped me get the right rack for my car. The regular racks for my car are over $150 ???? but they helped me fine an universal alternative kit that was less then half the price ????. The outdoor department helped me get a kayak safety kit. Then when I couldn't find a paddle I liked, the employee checked all the other Canadian Tires and went over the pros and cons of the available paddles that best suited me... SO helpful and saved me a lot of time. To top if off, a lovely local Brockville resident named Cole helped me tie everything down. So amazing because I've never had to tie down anything on my roof and if I did it wrong my new kayak would have been road kill. THANKS COLE????

Called the store to confirm something was in stock (it said 2 were available online). Woman was quite rude but told me yes, 2 were in stock. It was a hard to find item, so I drove the hour to pick it up immediately only to be told that the item sold out 2 weeks prior. Such a waste of time - especially since I called in advance!! Canadian tire Prescott has untrained staff. Management is a joke. Told me my truck was obsolete. I had to travel an hour to Cornwall Canadian tire. Cornwall Canadian tire checked the stock in Prescott ,on the computer they even call Prescott gave him part numbers they have lots of parts in stock for my truck I didn't have to travel an hour ! Prescott and prices on sale won't be on sale when you go up to the front cash you have to argue and argue and argue . just stay away from this store!

This review is just to do with the Party City aisle/section. The staff were so sweet and amazing but I paid $50 for helium balloons that didn’t even last 24 hours. Not happy because in the past it’s lasted over a week from other Party City’s.

Open! And, reasonably staffed for a COVID-Saturday Afternoon. Arrows in some aisles, randomly... seemed to confuse people. Only one guy on auto parts with a line-up of folks needing serious help. So, I opted for the handy budget-brand headlight instead of waiting for him/someone to open the locked showcase containing better high price bulbs. Just wondering how much lost sales balances with $taff cost vs. locked $howcase vs potential for $tolen bulbs? If Cdn Tire insists on locking up product without having staff... I might as well go to a real auto shop like NAPA?

Dishonest or incapable auto service. I recently left my Toyota Yaris at Canadian Tire in Brockville to have my winter tires put on. They called me and said three of my tire pressure sensors were seized. They would have to break them to change my tires. They offered to replace them at $140 each. I told them I had my tires changed a few months earlier without issue. Unable to believe them, I told them to stop all work and I picked up my car. I brought my Yaris to the Toyota dealership and they changed my tires with no issue whatsoever. No mention of 'seized' tire pressure sensors. This is not the first time I brought my car to Canadian Tire and they called me to say they were having issues and there would be additional expenses. I feel like a fool for bringing my car to Canadian Tire for so long and paying extra fees. I don't think there's any explanation for this. Too bad. I'm taking the time to write this so that other people don't get duped by this garage.

Our van had a flat tire on the westbound 401 on Sunday and we had to stay at Brockville overnight. Being the closest Canadian Tire, we left the car there so that it could be fixed early on Monday. Got a text message from CT at 7:30 am mentioning van will be looked after and someone will advise. In 45 minutes got a call from Service Advisor (Scott) mentioning the wheel replacement will take 30 minutes however front left control arm was not safe to drive with especially all the way back to Toronto. Gave me a good price and time of 12 pm in the afternoon. Got a call from Scott at 11:52 am mentioning van was ready with completed repairs. Went over to pay and say thank you. Well done Scott and team CT @ Brockville. God Bless! :)

Went to automotive desk asked for rear axle seal.for my blazer .I didn't know what there suppose to look like.it was not til I had the axle out that he sold me the pinion seal..o.i asked the clerk how uch gear does it take hesays 1..no it's 2 3/4 liters.and of course covid lock down the next day..I tried to go online to get the proper things I need but the we site shows me trailer axle seals when I put my blazer in the search .so I had to drive my truck home with no oil in it what's the point putting in oil when the seal is no goof.and I've been with out a vehicle since then.thank you clerk at automotive desk.

My husband and I stopped by yesterday on our way home from Kingston, and so glad we did! They have a huge in store clearance section where we managed to get a fireplace and a snowblower. The customer service was excellent and everyone we talked to was glad to help. One man that helped us (assuming its the manager?) answered all of our questions and was very pleasant. It's true when they say a smile goes a long way!

Canadian tire has the largest selection and best price (if you shop the flyer sales). Brooks bearing will price match CT. Motomaster batteries are the best vehicle batteries in town (for the price), and with a 3,4,5yr replacement warranty. They will test your other battery for free to see if you need a battery or not. Canadian Tire is pet friendly so you can walk your dogs indoors while you shop! They continue to be held back by their unreliable system for ordering out of stock items into the store. We waited many months, and staff strung us along with moving deadlines. The new store layout is also physically harder to see down/navigate as more aisles are perpendicular.

Travelling from Montreal to Toronto on a Sunday afternoon when I got a flat. :/ No auto repair shops were open on a Sunday. Stayed at a local hotel and made my way over to this nearby Canadian Tire. The team was more than accommodating (even though it was a busy Monday morning). As it turned out, tire replaced (due to large hole) and back on the road Monday morning. Again, a great team at this CT! Cheers!

Not a bad selection of items. Parking is fine, lots of space and the snow is usually cleaned well enough to get around. Never used the mechanics there, so I can't provide a review on my experience with them. The staff are usually helpful although sometimes they will just give you directions as to which aisle you need to look in and don't try to help you any further. The store can have good deals once in awhile although I find you can buy items for cheaper elsewhere. The bike selection is terrible and the quality of bikes is hardly worth the money, too many mechanical issues to fix after using the bike for a short period of time.

Ordered a socket online. Waited for 4 days, no email to pickup. I went to the parking lot and asked the runner if I could pick it up. He took my last name and went into the store, he came back and told me it'd be ready in a few hours. I then called the store and spoke to a "manager" advised her i live 20 minutes out of town, she said there was no way to pull the order early, even though they did 2 weeks previous for me.... So I drove to tsc which is about 5 minutes away... And boom I get the email that my CT order is ready... I go back... Pick up my order.. Get home and the socket is the wrong size... Worst experience ever... They are so u organized it's unreal..

This place hires CROOKS! I brought my truck in and it was making noise they said steady bearing is falling apart they change it cost me $391 for parts and labor. I leave still makes same noise was a loose u joint. I went back service manager and store manager said we replaced what was wrong. so they take me into shop to talk to the mechanic. I grab my steady bearing off his counter it was in perfect condition. nothing wrong with it. he had to cut it off! but then they say after wasting my time and money on something that was not broken is ill give you half your money back. Don't worry I have a lawyer and all the evidence on what they did video and audio of them acting like they know something. If corporate Canadian Tire reads this and wants my info ill gladly send you the videos and proof of your useless employees in this matter. and for the slob behind the service counter F U

My car broke down just outside of town and brought it here. Unfortunately the service centre is closed on Sundays but they were quick to get it diagnosed and repaired early Monday. The service was great. I also browsed the store and found a lot of things I don't normally find in other Canadian Tires. Mostly knick knack and impulse buy things but it was nice to see.

DONT STOP HERE!!! We were travelling through from Cornwall to Toronto when I notice my tire light came in my car. we stopped at Canadian tire and they were two guys standing in the garage my son asked them if they can look at my tire they replied “go across the parking lot and put air in your tire yourself”. We couldn’t find the self-serve tire machine I went into the store later and complained to the parts manager. He put air in my tire. We got back to Toronto to find out there was a nail in my tire. We could have gotten into a bad accident on the 401. LAZY USELSS WORKERS!!!

They keep alot of stock on the shelves and variety. Could do more with Atv dept and RV shelves. Missing basic stuff like RV bumper caps. And Atv dept has almost nothing considering many Atv riders in this area. Eg Boots, Gloves and basic Atv parts, Eg mirrors phone, Gps holders storage compartments for racks. Just basic stuff. This store has greatly deteriorated under its new owner: (1) Store no longer accepts used oil for recycling. This is outrageous for a company that sells so much oil. (2) Store evidently terminated all the previous owner's staff - new staff is far less knowledgeable. (3) Store has few staff on floor to answer questions -frequently have to search to find someone. (4) Store very rarely has sufficient cashiers - leading to frequent long checkout lines.. (5) Store distrusts us: they prohibit backpacks in store -must be checked at counter). I've been a long-time CTC customer, but I avoid this store and shop at others.

I then went to NAPA to get the bearings witch where better and cheaper then CANADAIN tire and took my Nissan to my friend Bow who is a certified mechanic for 30 years and said there is nothing wrong with my Bearings . THANKS CANADIAN TIRE FOR THE STRESS AND WAISTING MY TIME AND MONEY.

Canadian tire is really a hit or miss experience. I enjoy browsing through their large amount of goods and when they have a sale, it's a real sale. Though a few things could be improved like the selection of items or lack there of. Also their credit card salesmen are a big put off and I have always wanted to leave after an encounter with them. Their help services are really good, but their cashiers are unfriendly. I went to buy pipefitting pieces to build a home project and the cashier kept asking me if I knew what I was doing buying these items and giving me strange looks, I almost went somewhere else.

Exactly as expected. The layout is good, the products are the typical Canadian tire products so you know what you are getting. The clearance section is handy. I wouldn’t use the automotive shop but that’s expected across the board for all Canadian tires so I didn’t dock a star for it. Garage issues not reflected in the rating and reasons not to use any Canadian tire’s garage: Automotive issues at this Canadian tire include: -oil change where oil was not added to the car after draining it. Noticed when they brought the car home so I filled it myself -when fixing Prescott CT’s alignment job they got rid of the pull but the steering wheel wasn’t centred (I specifically mentioned that I wanted it straight) Prescott Canadian tire: -went in with a slight pull to the right in a new to me car but the steering wheel was straight. Left with a heavy pull and the steering wheel about 1/8 turn crooked -my mom’s car left here without oil after an oil change, I noticed that it sounded odd when she pulled in (I was living there at the Cambridge Canadian Tire: -went in for an alignment, a bolt sheered off so they didn’t do the work but charged me anyways. They told me that it was safe to drive but right after merging onto the highway my wheel started wobbling horribly. In general it’s a great store but an awful garage. If you understand this you won’t be disappointed.

This email indicated I would not be charged until my order had been processed and it was not an official receipt, I was in fact charged the full amount yesterday well before receiving even THAT email. Now 4PM the following day still no ready for pickup email and I'm nervous if I cancel I will be in battle to refund the money I shouldn't have been charged yet. Will shop with Amazon from now on. I took my vehicle in to the automotive department asking for a diagnosis so that I could have my new to me used car repaired. I was told I needed an oil change, so paid to have a diagnosis and then an oil change. The following day I still had the same issues, so I brought the car back. They charged me again to have the car diagnosed. I explained I had already paid the previous day and they had not fixed the problem, However they were adamant I needed to pay another $65 for a new diagnosis. They told me my car was safe as I had a trip planned that day to Toronto. Needless to say, I barely made it to Toronto. When I arrived in Toronto I found a mechanic here, they diagnosed the problem, without charging me to do so, and actually repaired my vehicle. I do not recommend this Canadian Tire store AT ALL! I find it extremely in poor taste having to pay to diagnose my problem each and every time I have one if I am going to have the work done there. Customer service is horrible, no professionalism, and the mechanics are subpar

I went to get new tires put on a few weeks back. I was told by a service tech that my old tires are no good and they would dispose of them for me. I told them no because I was going to sell them (didn't fit on my new car). He did not have my old tires put in my car and then said he forgot when I asked about them. He apologized and I retrieved them from the garage with the assistance of a nice young guy. I ended up selling them for $60/tire as they were still in great shape (barely any kms on them). I would have been out $240 if I listened to this tech.

Since they live in Toronto they made arrangements through Canadian Tire to have the barbecue delivered. Somehow the delivery never happened so my son-in-law Pat spoke to the manager, Gabrielle. My husband and I arrived to pick up the barbecue and Gabrielle was there to help us. She had ironed out the delivery debacle with Pat and helped us retrieve our barbecue. She was so awesome (and Pat thought so too) and I felt like I really mattered as a customer. She and a helper loaded up our barbecue and wished my husband a happy birthday. On Monday, My wife and I had a flat tire on the 416 and couldn’t continue our journey on the space saver spare tire, we tried 4 different places on route, with no luck because of the tire size we needed. A quick call to your svc department and Dave answered and said he had the correct size, and to come in right away and they could do it while we wait!! Originally I was only going to replace the one tire and decided to have all 4 replaced. I work in the automotive industry for over 42 years and know the stresses that come with the business, on Monday Dave (& Mathew, The Technician) were able to provide an exceptional experience and allowed us to continue our vacation travel plans in less than a couple of hours. One of my favorite places to shop for a long time. I usually find what I'm looking for & usually shop in the housewares, garden, hardware or kitchen sections. They often have good sales on in their flyer, especially at Black Friday, X-mas, Fathers Day, & Canada Day periods. U can shop C Tire online too & choose to pick up at the store for free. New owners have taken over in the last few yrs & have totally reorganized all the departments to make it even better than it was for the most part. Time will tell how that goes. I enjoy looking at the hot sales items in the bins in the aisles, as near the cashes. I have a craving for the different flavoured Vortman wafer cookies they keep up there, but also I was told they no longer carry the Frank's chip peanuts---those were addictive! The staff is always great too. One thing though I have never liked about C Tire stores on general is the smell of rubber tires & chlorine that hits u when u walk into the entrance.

A mixed review. I purchased a boxed tool from here but when I went to assemble I discovered it had been opened already. I kicked myself for not checking when I was in the store. The parts were mostly just placed back in without taking care and I found loose parts in a sandwich bag. I was not impressed. Don't like being hearded like cattle forcing you to exit in one area only. If I'm not mistaken, it's also ileagal to keep a commercial exit door locked as this store does over by there automotive entrance/exit door. I prefer to shop in stores that are more accessible, like the beautiful Canadian Tire store in Kemptville. Yes I realize the game is to keep you in the store longer so you're more likely to buy more and also all the impulse items available to you while you wait in line, because of course there's always a shortage of cashiers. Either you cannot get near the auto desk because of endless waiting or you write a couple of hours off to get an estimate on auto repairs only to find they are ALWAYS way more expensive then anyone else. I dont even bother wasting my time at Canadian Tire any more .

Check your orders before you leave the parking lot. They gave us the wrong item and there is nothing they can do about it until the store reopens fully. I understand it is a crazy time we live in, I can wait, that is not a problem. Just letting others know to verify before you leave just to avoid the hassle. Even if they just put the bag in your trunk, double check all of it. Making sure product numbers match up. That is my fault for not verifying until I got home. I thought a switch would be easy.

We've had two flats in the past month since getting our new tires here. Both flats were installation errors as they were not sealed properly. Don't get or change your tires here unless you want massive inconvenience.

It has its ups and downs. Ups is that there are some extremely helpful employees that truly care about customer service. Downs about the brooks store is that it RARELY has the products in the flyers. I often have to travel to medicine hat to get the products on sale in the flyer.

Nicely laid out store. Needed something not kept on sales floor. Kind of painful getting someone to locate it but the guy was very helpful in getting the large box loaded on a trolley and to cash.
