Great place to find lots of clothes! I love that it's a mix of different brands, but all in great condition and at fair prices.

Nicole P

Due to COVID you cannot try on any of the clothes so be sure before you buy. Prices are reasonable and selection is always changing due to nature of the store. You can sell them clothes, shoes and purse as well. Be prepared for them to only select a few of your items; they are picky but that works well for you as a customer.

I've been to Platos about a dozen times. Generally I'm able to find at least a few nice items in good shape and fairly priced. I will probably give up on bringing clothes in though. The first couple of times when I brought in clothes to sell, they purchased almost everything. Now I usually get turned away even though, like many of the other reviewers are saying, my items are usually popular brands like Forever 21 and H&M, in excellent shape and still on trend. Meanwhile, you have to sift through a lot of clothes in less than ideal condition on their racks. I can't say I fully understand why this is. The staff certainly can't explain it. Anyway, I definitely still plan to shop there, although I wouldn't say I have better luck than I do at other places like Value Village. It is what it is.

Lane Spyksma

Cluttered, busy, not well organized. Expensive

Anastasiia Kholiavko

Brought clothes there with tags still on (never worn) and they didn't give me even close to what it's been paid for.

Eve Gomez

I have gone to Plato’s a couple of times just to come out a bit disappointed. Not because of the staff or the items they sell but for the simple fact their buy back prices are ridiculously low. For 1 pair of shorts (with tags) and 2 shirts used once I was offered $6! The pants are way to expensive I feel but their shirts and dresses are somewhat reasonable. I understand they are a local thrift store but that’s crazy to me. Furthermore, there sizes range from very small to very large. There is something for everyone usually. Staff are friendly the times I have gone. They have covid protocols in store such as the use of masks and sanitizer at the door.

I live about an hour's drive to Plato's Closet, but knew I'd be in the area and so set aside a bin of clothing to see how the process works and to maybe pick up a few items. It was well worth the trip! The staff were clear in communicating the process, and although they couldn't give me a set time, they let me know where I was in line and that they would call me when my bin was reviewed. While my family was looking through the racks - one of the staff found me and let me know they were almost done! By this time my difficult to buy for son had five items picked out. They kept about half the clothing, and they gave me a credit that more than covered the cost of the 'new' items. Definitely worth the visit - and extra bonus if you have items to sell. Do go and shop there - I love the concept and hope this store has much success.

It seems to have a good selection and prices but I took some 'old' stuff that's not even old (it just does not fit me and my husband) and, honestly we felt they didn't even checked our bags. I ended up buying a pair of shoes and my husband two shirts. Just don't expect to sell your stuff, they are really picky to buy

Lululala lala

Not a good selling experience; better to just donate to the value village if you want it to be done quickly and easily; and not waste your time; only accept 20-30% you brought in; good thing you can get some money back, the average price is 2$ - 3$ per item;

Alyson Benoit

Staff literally ripped a pair of jeans we brought in and said they were too ripped to take in... Place isn't designed well for social distancing and the attitude there isn't really to enforce or ask customers to respect those protocols. It's not a terrible experience, just not a great one.

elizabeth t

great place and helpful staff. people complaining about the prices they buy for don’t understand they need to make a profit!!

Alexandra

I went there yesterday for the first time to sell my clothes. They were all almost brand new, some of them brand new (with tags). I had everything nicely folded and orginzed by clothing type. They took around 25 items and they offered around 2.5 $ per item. Even if they were to sell it for the lowest price point (stained and pilling clothing cost around 8-10$, mine clothes were like new or new) it shouldn't be 2.5 since it is not 30-40%. Stained and pilling clothing is even more expensive there. They offered me 2.70$ for leather sandals from European desiger (they were like brand new, no dirt at the bottom, no signs of use). Obviously I took my sandals back, I sold the rest since I just wanted to get rid of it, but next time I won't bother to go there. I would rather find a person in need and give it all for free than waste my time. + My clothes been thrown into the box like garbage, they didn't bother to give it back in the same condition

Elizabeth Marjan

Great selection and even better prices! I always find a new cute outfit. Something for everyone here!

Alissa Merlin

Not many brand name selections (very limited on men’s clothing) as well as clothes are pilled and stretched out. Not the best place to sell to, I had name brands such as aritzia and adidas and they passed on those items. Overall negative experience.

Jesus Carlo Cagungon

Friendly Staff. Good Selection. Its a while to get to the fitting rooms cause this place is a great place to shop they accumulated customers. Good Price. Shoutout Hailey and Brandi.

Melissa Stabell

Go to Plato's Closet!! I always find a few great piece's for a great price. Their return policy is great and their staff is always helpful.

Alison Williams

I like coming to Plato's when I just want to look around and see what I see. I wouldn't say you'll find what you're looking for everytime, but that's part of the fun. I haven't figured out the formula for selling yet... (maybe my clothes aren't hip enough... hehe). It's nice knowing the clothes you buy are on round 2 or more. :) I care about textile waste, and this is how I can help.

Danielle Windecker

Great deals for our teenager!

UPDATED REVIEW: I've since had the opportunity to communicate with Sara through email and I feel listened to. She acknowledged my concerns regarding my latest selling experience and has looked into what happened where. I would recommend that anyone who feels like they've had a less than stellar experience contact Sara and see what can be fixed in future. She's a kind and understand person who wants the best for her store and staff, but obviously also wants to ensure that customers are happy and taken care of. To reiterate, I will continue shopping at Plato's, the selection is amazing. And I won't completely write off selling at present -- its definitely worth another shot in the future. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Honestly, this is probably more of a 2.5 review and isn't going to provide any information than other reviews. For shopping: I do genuinely like coming here. I've found some really amazing items that I've not seen elsewhere. Lately I haven't found as much since you can't try things on, but I can't blame them for that. It's clearly a covid policy and I can respect that. It's just a hassle to take things home to try on and come back. But, like I said, I don't hold that against them and totally understand. My only real shopping complaint is how busy the store is. When most stores are limiting the amount of people right now, they clearly aren't and its not possible to do proper physical distancing in their aisles. For selling: not worth it. I've tried on multiple occasions and have only ever managed to sell one to two items. Which, fine. It's their business and they know what sells. The frustrating thing is when you're told that they aren't taking some of your items because they have no room for spring/summer, yet their policy is to take all seasons all year round. If the downturn in business has caused you to have overstock then just put up a notice and people won't bring those items in, saving the customer and store staff time. The other frustrating thing is when you take your passed on items home and see that the staff member who went through your items never even unfolded the majority of them. This time around, I actually hung around the store and watched and saw the staff member dumb my basket, and without looking, began just throwing items back in my basket. They're also inconsistent on what they take and their reasons for not taking certain items. My partner also brought in things and they told him the shirts they were passing on were because they were too formal...yet the shirts the actually passed on were informal plaid shirts, while they took all his dress shirts... So either they're giving a BS reason or it might be time to have some retraining from management. Because that's confusing and makes no sense. From the owner's replies to previous reviews, I can see that there is the option to have a manager go through to see if anything was missed, but as these complaints seem very common, I can't imagine that it's worth it. And if that is the regular response that the owner has, I feel like that is proof that staff need more training. In short, not a bad place to shop (and I will continue shopping there), but really needs some crowd control (and maybe some proper masks for staff, not those weird little plastic things that just cover your nose...), but not worth trying to sell.

Caitlin Haldin

I love shopping here. Friendly and helpful staff. Great deals on higher end clothing. However I have found that the racks are often crammed full and they can be a little hard to shop comfortably.

Shay L

The best clothing store I have been to in BC. I have lived all across Canada and have always relied on thrift stores as a sustainable and affordable way to get clothes. This store is organized, the staff are polite, their prices are reasonable, and they often have promotions ongoing. I also need to send the biggest compliment to whomever runs their instagram page, the way that they promote their business by promoting transparency (hours, promotions, what they're looking for), and allowing holds on items is the best system I have seen for a thrift store.

Paul Mc

Great for cherry picking, and fantastic sales

Briannexxo

Went into plato’s closet recently and looked through almost everything and noticed there were tons of clothes that were pilling, old stained and worn. The styles they put on the floor are geared toward 13 year old little girls. I think they need to start being more open to accepting items that get brought in instead of turning everything away. Any time my friends or I have brought anything in, they barely accept anything. Their racks were also over filled with clothing making it hard to flip through clothes and looked very unorganized.

Colin Broughton

Picked up an order for my wife, I had no idea a shop like this existed. Great quality and selection.

Neely McGovern

So glad this store exists ❤

Hannah Meerse

They are VERY limited in what they will accept. I had multiple pieces of clothing that were brand name and brand new with the tags still on. The employee's were quite disrespectful and said to me "we only take modern pieces of clothing that suit a younger crowd" (I was 27) Safe to say I will never go back. Also, I found a lot of the clothes they chose to be in pretty terrible shape. Found many pieces with holes and rips.

Jessica Paige

I'm honestly done with this place. The staff are SO SNOBBY. I dread going there specifically because the staff are so rude. The last straw was yesterday, when I brought in a bin of clothes, was quoted a 30-40 minute wait time, and proceeded to wait an hour and a half only to find out that they only wanted two items worth $5. I then go in the bin to see they only went through half of it. The bottom was untouched. A complete waste of my time and zero consideration from staff. Thanks for the handful of quarters for the two items you bought. I won't be coming back.

Kristie P

Don't give much for your clothes, refuse alot and overpriced. Limited mens selection too

Sheylyn M.2000

Drove all the way from Langley to drop off 100+ clothes hoping to get some money for moving. They only took 4 items and I had waited 2hrs. I have a feeling it was because my clothes are plus size too as all I could see in the store were for skinny 0size small people. I'm so disappointed from the results because I had so many people tell me to come here. Not worth it unless your size 0 or pinky pink girly. EDIT: reading more reviews and the owners answers gotta say, when are jeans not in "fashion now"? Literally tried to give them 10+ jeans. Freaking just an excuse and seeing as others, they'd agree.

Emma Wesnoski

Best thrift store in abby!! They always have the cutest styles and the clothes are always reasonably priced! Staff is always so helpful and friendly. First place I come to when I want to sell my clothes!

Hayes Parshyn

Great store that is organized, clean, well stocked, and offers awesome value. I always find something here and am always happy with the price. The staff are friendly and helpful, even when it is very busy. I always appreciate their efforts. Definitely a must shop!

Hollis Schmidt

Sooo nice to have a Plato's Closet in Canada! I got most of my wardrobe from them in the US. Fashionable clothes at a cheap price, literally no other second hand shop can beat it. My only gripe is their 7 day return policy because I live in Vancouver and it's absolutely not enough time to return stuff that doesn't fit :(

Minnie

Nice selection of clothes! First time visiting and left with a haul of cute items.

Corinna Landsberger

Buying clothes is a good experience here. Selling is very difficult. They only take certain brands and styles and won't take your clothes if there is just one pet hair on it.

Katy Andrews

Daughter loves this store. She went in and shopped for half an hour while I stayed in the car with my infant. She had a good experience.

Lisa Dean

These clothes are Amazing... All sizes and Great prices. I went here with boyfriend and there wasn't a whole lot if nothing for him here. But for myself and a handful of my girlfriends we all scored.

Emily R

Great for buying, not for selling. The selection of clothes to purchase at Plato's Closet are excellent. You can find clothes, shoes, and accessories for almost any occasion. The selection is generally in better condition and cleaner than thrift stores. However, I would not recommend selling clothes at Plato's Closet. Every time I've come in to sell clothes, I arrive with a huge bin from my closet. I only resell clothes that are in good condition. At most, they have taken 5-8 items and I walk away with under $20. If you are just looking to get rid of clothes and maybe make a few bucks, then I would say go for it. However, if you are expecting to make a profit by reselling your quality items, it's not worth your time and effort to resell at Plato's Closet.

Kayla A

I would rate it lower if I could. Worst ever to try and sell your things. The girls there are stuck up and pick and choose what gets kept, basically nothing. They never take your items, even if they're brand new with tags. Never going here again!

Suzanne White Anders

This is my first choice for second hand !! Cool Stuff !! I spent $175 for both my girls. Would have cost over $600 at the mall !!! Please bring a location to Cloverdale !! It’s a long haul to Abby. I’d shop there every week if closer …. My daughter fell in love with these boots … mama had to say no … when she’s 17 maybe ????????

Jenn Friesen

I was recently at plato's closet to drop off some garments, and I had one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. I usually have a very pleasant customer experience here but as I was browsing the store to kill time for the staff to sort through my items, I overheard them openly criticizing my clothes, how "no one would wear clothes like this", "these clothes are so weird" etc... This was very embarrassing for me and I felt very uncomfortable by the judgement of the young staff working at the time. There are many different kinds of style preferences and I can understand people's varying opinions, but I found it unnecessary and uncalled for to publicly shame a customer. As you would expect all of my items were passed on and that's totally fine, I would not be a returning customer to this store location and I would definitely not recommend dropping clothes off here unless you have items that would fit in at a forever 21 RED boutique or any other cheap declining fast fashion aesthetic.

Lauren Penner

Lots of clothes, and they are in pretty good condition. The prices are good on most of the items as well.

Over a year ago, I had had of Plato's Closet for the first time and wished that there was a store close to home. A couple months later and I was absolutely delighted to hear that one had opened up here in Abbotsford. For those who aren't aware, this store is has only been open just shy of one year. Every time I walk in I get greeted by smiling staff members and it's almost always super busy with people scouting out the perfect deal. If you ever see me, I'd most likely be wearing at least one piece from Plato's and always receive compliments. I happily smile to myself knowing that an outfit that looks well over $100 is actually $25. I have been lucky enough to work/chat with Sara, the owner, numerous times and it makes me pleased to know that this store is owned by such a lovely lady and her family too lives locally. There have been worries about clothes that aren't always in tip-top shape, however it needs to be realized that there are masses of clothes that get brought in and the employees can only do their best to sort through everything. So yes, you can go to big corporate stores to buy new items that are overpriced, however for just a little more time and effort, you can look through Plato's to find brand new or slightly used pieces that you can easily wear to any of the fashion weeks. Knowing that not only did you score an unbelievable deal, but the people behind the scenes are amazing and truly care about their customers.

Blaike Holding

Brought in a huge box of clothes today, primarily name brand stuff. After browsing the store for about 15 minutes I got the message saying they had gone through my box. They only picked eight items near the top of the box, and didn't even bother to go through the rest. When you bring in clothes they request that it's washed and folded, but when they put it back, if it's something they don't want they just shove it in a pile. I like to shop here, on occasion I have been able to buy some pretty decent stuff, however the service is terrible! The staff are not friendly and didn't take the time to go through the box I brought in. I'll have better luck on marketplace!

Joanne Laurino

Came in here last week, for the first time, and had a great experience. All the ladies were very friendly, and the store had a great selection of clothes at amazing prices. While the store targets "teens", I found that the styles they carry do cater to a wider demographic than just that. I also found the store to be very well organized. Have already recommended this store to multiple friends! Will definitely be back!

Alyssa Paris

Love this store. I find the best deals and up to date name brand clothing inexpensive. Staff is nice and friendly they always greet you when you walk in.

Drea - Clueless Mama D

My daughter and I actually drove all the way from Coquitlam to see what Plato’s was like and we loved it! Worth the trip and a huge selection. She and I both stocked up. They had great sales too. We will definitely go back again.

Gillian Larissa

Plato’s does have a good selection but sometimes for the prices are a bit over the top when the brand is literally Joe Fresh or Ardene. You still sometimes have to sort through a lot of trash to find the nice stuff so it’s basically a slightly higher end Value Village. I do like going here but if I wanted to find better quality/higher end second hand clothes I would go to a different consignment store.

G “Insert nickname here” D

Decent prices, poor men's section selection. Especially for XL tops. My only complaint. Staff was very welcoming and polite.

Natalie Giesbrecht

Platos does not meet my standards of customer service. I went in last Saturday and I was running a bit past closing. They where not gracious at all. They where rude and I felt like they didn’t want me there. 5 minutes to closing they told me I can’t try on any more items - which makes sense I was fine with that. BUT the way the she said it was as if she had zero training in customer service. She mumbled in a monotone voice and looked at me like she was miserable. She came off very rude. The whole vibe there in general is off. Their employees don’t seem happy. There is no positive energy or perkiness. Every employer needs to make sure their workers know how to socialize properly and be friendly. Starbucks customer service is a great example if you want to step up your game.

I love giving companies 5 stars, and I hate giving companies less unless they honestly deserve it imo. Personally, not as "hype" as online made it out to be again imo. I've read reviews good and bad before I go into second hand shops so I'm aware and I'm honestly shocked at the replies some of the cx get from the owner. I went in there today not expecting much note I did bring in 2 large totes. All folded, cleaned and in either brand new or gently used condition. No holes, rips, stains and or piling. Lululemon, tna, wilfred, Calvin, puma, Levi's and more brand names. That are current for this weather and in trend at the moment. Unfortunately they picked a few things and not worth the price they paid me for again imo. Especially when most of there Lululemon range from $12 - $30 (I took my bachelor's so I'm aware of how it works, just not sure people are getting the benefit) The est time was 1.5hr -2hr was done within a reasonable time that was the only plus side. As I came from white rock, didn't want to spend all day there. Amazing company idea but a little "off" imo. Esp with what they pick as handful of the winter sweaters have fuzz balls on them. There was a handful of shirts/long sleeves I would of bought but stains threw me off. Esp the tan ones if you look close enough coffee maybe ? (I took photos as I noticed you argue unless you have proof and I write reviews for Google) (1st few are of jacket the white Specs are I'm assuming lint, and puff ball// others are stains of shirts I found) also alot of the clothes are stuffed on the racks making it overwhelming and creating lines and wrinkles in clothes but nothing a iron or steam press couldn't fix (maybe) I did buy 1 jacket, Lululemon and for the price I got what I paid for as inside lining was well used ???? but cheaper than Lululemon store. Def my bad for not fully looking more but still a decent second hand jacket. I think they should have an online service or something that helps say yay or nay to things before hand so people don't waste there time. But again that's my opinion from a business perspective, it would also help turn around your reviews esp with people saying they wait to long and make far drives (imo I again didnt mind as it was done well within the est time but everyone is different) The staff was decent but definitely rather talked amongst eachother than help or see if people need assistance. I'm not sure I'll be back as I rather stick to donating to ladies in need and or selling certain items on marketplace as I just sold both those totes online for $113. Which ladies works alot easier than driving to Abby to hope you get a Appraisal you're okay with. Thank you for your time with my stuff and creating a unique business it does work for some just not myself.

Victoria

I'm fond of the selection of clothing- if you look well there are hidden gems through out the store. However some of the staff are a little rude when it comes near to the closing time. While I understand that it is near the closing time and they need to get ready, customers are still customers. One girl at the till seemed highly annoyed that I didn't have enough change on me to pay for something because I wasn't aware they didn't have tap for Apple Pay and didn't bring my card. There are a couple staff that are really helpful and nice but most of the staff don't really make me feel welcome here.

Sakuraz

This place is amazing! There organized, clean, and super cheap!. I always find something here and am always happy with the price. The staff are friendly and helpful and I always appreciate their efforts. You need to shop here!

Tania Gelineau

Always polite and is always sure to acknowledge each person that comes in. Good customer service

Hope Fooo

I’ve been shopping here a few times. And Katie is the most friendly person ever. Always have a big smile. Always say hi to everyone that walks in. Very positive vibe.

Megan Smith

They sell cute clothes, but don't bother selling your clothes. Low ball the hell out of your stuff. Better to not sell, or sell on marketplace. Braught in a 100 dollar bag, and they offered literally 5 dollars.

Krystal Gnome

I came here once and drove 43 minutes because a friend recommended it, never again. Negative experience as a seller. As the others have mentioned, they provide extremely lowball offers on mint condition items for mid-range clothing and accessories. Here's my advice: sell the items yourself (online), donate them to Salvation Army, or find another consignment shop that will offer you a fair price for your goods. I browsed the store as I waited for the assessment to finish, but there was absolutely nothing that made me want to take my wallet out.

Leo Girl

Nice but lots of clothes...too many clothes! Sometimes the staff is abrupt and not always friendly Best to go early to get items looked at!

Katie Gunning

One of the best thrift stores I've been to, their prices are generally fair for what they offer and I've been to multiple other thrift stores that would charge way more for worse quality. I love how organized the store is, it makes it a lot easier to shop around and so far every staff member I've encountered has been very friendly.

Jackie Breukel

Have always loved Plato’s closet staff always is friendly but wow Abbotsford maybe teach the girls some manners. No greeting when we came in. Had our kids with us who were calmly playing but the bitchy no greeter girl in the front started scolding us right away. Make sure the kids do not go under the racks. Make sure this and that. It was a bit much. She was also scolding her staff in the front as to how they should put away clothes. All in all a very unpleasant experience. We just left. Not dealing with a manager who thinks she is better than everyone. Store itself is wonderful though. Great organization

Ian Mackay

Excellent selection

S R

Nice to be able to get some cash back but they are limited in what they will accept.

Hope Hellmann

Great selection of everything!! Very clean! Staff is very friendly! Prices are spectacular! What more could you ask for?!

H P

A great place for shopping with my 14 year old daughter. She has never left without finding a great new piece for her wardrobe. The sales are a great deal, and they have a great well organized selection, and though it is targeted to the teen/young adult audience I do see many adults in there shopping as well. We have taken brand new items both shoes & clothing in to sell a few times and that part of the experience was always awkward and they never tend to buy her/our things even if they are trendy or new with tags so we just focus on our great buying experience and take our used items to Value Village. Overall I would highly recommend the buying experience though.

Jo Jo V.

For used, their clothing is good quality and usually not too expensive.

Shay Johnson

Great prices and variety of clothing. Staff are helpful and friendly. Changing rooms are open again! Parking isn’t too bad.

J B

staff preaches about their being picky with accepting goods yet recently purchased item with a rip in it. told staff but still charged full price They accept fields store poor quality clothing told my family no more hard earned money going there. Not much better than a thrift store clothing is still ripped buttons missing.

andrew wake

Hard to find anything good for guy stuff because the men's section is so small. The stuff that is there is pretty picked over so they just need more donations to make it a better shop for men's clothing

Theresa Richards

I love going here, but as I've said previously. I'm too old to shop here now.

Ardel Hsiao

Most of the time when I come here I find a whole bunch of great things! Especially last year. They had such nice bags, shoes and clothes. I do have to agree with the other review that the selection isn't as on point as before and you do feel like you're rummaging through value village. But again, I always find something and the prices are ALWAYS amazing.

Deb Baker

Great selection of clothes, far better pricing than value village, and great, helpful staff. Ill be returning often, cant beat there fantastic prices.

quinn jeannotte

great place to sell and buy clothes

Morgan MacKay

I recently went in to sell some clothes and look around. I love the layout of the store, tons of great stuff and their prices are genuinely good. However, my experience with selling was not so great. I approached the counter and the girl helping me basically recited a speech about what they do- not allowing me a word in edgewise as I had some questions (it was my first time in the store). Their assessment of my items was quick and they bought about a 1/3 of what I brought in- however again I was given a script of why they didn't buy some of my things. It just came off as so- brusque. I have worked retail and I get that it can be busy, but I was there mid morning and it wasn't really busy. One suggestion I have would maybe have the option to be present when they go through your clothes- then they can explain why they aren't buying it. That way the person knows for next time! I just felt like I was in the dark.

Tessa Poole

The last two times I've been here I've noticed several items with stains and tears and left with nothing. I'm not sure what has happened but it's definitely not the same as it was a couple years ago.

Brooklyn Wagner

Not a fan. What the give you in return for consigning is kind of sad. I would rather support a locally owned establishment that what seems to be a teen version of value village but trendier....

amanda james

Quality has definitely not been as good as it was before, alot of items that are piling some even has stains on them. The entire shoe section is covered in dust and lint. I feel like there could be much better options for clothing if it wasn't just teenage girls pricing the products. Alot of fast fashion items prices at full price and not in very good condition

jennifer hutchings

Love this store!! If you have some time to shuffle through the clothes you can find some gems :)

son Julius

Clothes looked like value village clothing. Stains animal hair.????

Natalie Korz

I rave about this place to all my friends; it's cheaper than buying new, and cleaner than "traditional" thrift stores. Even though we all live in the Vancouver area, we make the trek out here every month or two because the deals are incredible. Just one example, i've gotten pants for a dollar during a red tag clearance sale. Oh and they have a rewards program so you get deals as you spend over time!

Kirsten Fanzega

Dropped off my clothing for resale. The process was quick and painless. The staff were very helpful at explaining the store policies and procedures. I would definitely recycle my clothes there again!

Jonathan Dunham

Love this place. Found a new place to shop. Yahoo

Troy Krauss

Great customer service...Good location...Cheers ???? ????

Elle Love

Just took a bunch of gently used/NWT clothes/shoes here, service was friendly and very quick. My friend and I both had a Rubbermaid each of stuff and walked away with around $65 each. Not bad at all! Would definitely come back to sell and shop! I called ahead to inquire about what they were looking for and asked about the process. The girl was very informative and helpful. If you’re looking to “make money back” on items you won’t get it here, they buy mid-range brands at best and you’ll only get a few bucks for it, so if you’re trying to get a decent amount of $$ back for things you’re better off to sell on Marketplace or Poshmark. Definitely worth the trip out to Abbotsford!

great place to shop! mostly high quality clothes, great prices (especially during clearance). similar prices to value village except VV gets their clothes for free while platos closet has to purchase them my onlycomplaint is that checkout is usually not very good. the cash registers and scanners are old, and it seems there is always at least 1 register that won’t work properly. gift cards are also quite hectic. unlike other stores that you scan the card and boom you’re done, it is a 10+ minute affair here. i still love this place enough to give it 5 starts tho.

Amazing selection all catered to current trends! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable too. They buy and sell second hand which is great for the environment which I looove

Awesome store!! Found so many beautiful items at beyond reasonable prices. It's one of the only store that my teenage daughter and I can both find what were looking for. Last visit we spent over 2 hours and found so many treasures. The staff are also super helpful, and very nice.

The staff leaves something to be desired as far as friendliness and service.

Plato's closet is a great place to sale and buy clothes and accessories. All sizes and styles are available. Some 70's and 80's cloth are hidden treasures. We found some brand pieces to a good price. Handbags and hats, even little accessories where a good deal. We live going ,as we can always try to sale our cloth and either get cash or store credits. It's always worth a try.

I love Plato's Closet, fantastic place to get lightly used brand name clothing for great prices! I've shopped here numerous times and I'll keep going back. Also, you can trade in your brand name clothing and sometimes they will purchase it from you. Great store, and great service.
