One of my favorite small businesses! Lots of variety in styles and sizes and the only place I'll go to for all of my pin-up needs. Jen provides amazing customer service and asks the customers what they'd like to see in the store. She also supports local causes and bands and other small businesses! A nice little tip is that there are always cute bathing suits in stock because you never know when you'll need a unique pin-up bathing suit during a warm Christmas getaway! Shop at this store and support small local businesses!

As part of my travel plans to Vancouver I had intended to visit New World Designs. When I travel I try to find a shop that has some rockabily/punkrock vibe so I can pick out a new dress or accessorie. It's always a little difficult because I'm also plus sized. Although I wasn't able to visit, due to COVID19, I found out through Instagram that the owner was doing Sales Online through DMs. I decided since I couldn't visit in person I was still going to get my souvenir. She was so helpful and so friendly and even helped me pick the correct sizes without ever knowing or seeing me. She was right on the money too! The dress I bought was beautiful and fit perfectly. On t Top of that I also snagged myself some hair color to stave off the quarentene crazies. I still plan to visit when I can finally rebook my trip, and deffinetally give some love. 10/10

This place is like my dream come true. So much diverse selection and SIZES!! Adorable accessories and tons of handmade and local designers. The staff (Py) was so incredibly helpful and just a lovely soul to chat about the world with! I've purchased a lot of my event style dresses here, stage wear to beach! Got 2 dresses for weddings this summer but their jeans/pants and short selection is killer too. I have the hardest time finding jeans and even though it's almost not the season for them I had to grab these as they are most amazing. Cloche hats and sunglasses topped up the day!! Please support local and keep these guys around for years to come!!

Love this place - good selection of retro/reproduction vintage fashion, mostly 1940-60 type dresses, skirts, blouses. Pricing is pretty competitive for non-disposable fashion. $80-$120 range for full price dresses, and there's a sale wall up in front with good deals as well. Great range of sizes from small to 4xl or higher. There are a few men's items, a section for retro bathing suits and lingerie, and lots of shoes and accessories. Pro-tip, visit on a weekday if at all possible. The owner is great; she'll help with feedback and styling tips, and even do free alterations to get the fit right. Less fetishy or costumey than some of the places down the street; you can definitely find something here to fit into your wardrobe, and not just period parties.

Truly, what else can you ask for? All of that (and then some) with the extra added bonus of it being run by one of the loveliest Jens I've ever had the pleasure to meet. She'll help you get your fancy on!

New World Designs is the kind of place that you've always heard of but never really been able to find. It's a blend of old and new vintage items with a punk rock flair and an owner to match! One of the many fantastic aspects of this shop is the care of the staff and earnest desire to find the right pieces and accessories for you and in the size that you need. I was able to talk with Jen to find the exact thing i was looking for for a gift for a friend in the States. I can't express how amazing the gift was. I'd appreciated the store from afar, but during the forced shutdown due to COVID 19, Jen opened up her inventory to online orders and even though this was new to both sides, it was seamless and amazing. Take a journey there, or online and I know that you will find something for you, yours and even more. This is more than a reproduction vintage store, but a culture that's cared for and shared. Go there now!

What a find! I typically order my retro spooky fashion online but this place has a great selection of clothes and accessories...and the marvelous handbags! Love the curation of local artists and designers in addition to faves like Sourpuss, Hell Bunny, and Bettie Page. Owner Jenn is also a doll! Sized up to at least 4X that I saw. Looking forward to making this a regular shopping/browsing stop.

This is such a gorgeous store, I want to buy pretty much every thing they sell here. Not to mention it has superb customer service. I told the owner what type of dresses I was looking for. She said she had the perfect ones in mind, but they were at the dry cleaner's, so she said she could hold them for me when they got back. Once they were back from the cleaners she sent me a message telling me I could come try them on.

From style advice to just catching up on day to day blahs, Jen is super friendly no matter what. Just yesterday I was stressed that I couldn't come into store to make a purchase - for a one day sale - but Jen was able to figure something out so I could pick up my purchase the following day and still take advantage of her xmas countdown. This is the best clothing shop around. Seriously. The owner is literally the sweetest, most genuine shop keeper and lady you could ever wish for.
