I went to that store and they have one of the best selection of costumes for Halloween. For me it's the best halloween costume store in Vancouver as the staff is more friendlier and really helpful compared to other store and their selection is amazing. They also have a huge selection of masquerade masks, venetian masks and also wigs at different prices.

I was there last week and was so offended that they sell confederate flag paraphernalia, which is overtly racist and responsible for death in South Carolina recently, and akin to selling swaztika clothes. I didn’t say anything but then my friend just posted that she did try to say something and management defended themselves. Unbelievable in Vancouver Canada. Boycott or protest.

Bought contacts. Walked out. Got a call the next 5 mins that my partner bought me some. The refuse to return them although I literally just left the store. Also refuses to put me in contact with upper management. This all happened within 10 mins. Terrible service. And OVER PRICED. go to dressew for your costume needs.

The vibe in this store is very hostile. I enter, it was quiet, the workers don't bother to greet anyone BUT... they will follow you through every aisle as if waiting for you to shoplift. People were entering and leaving the store quickly for this reason. At some point during my browsing session, I had 3 deathly silent workers following me with accusing eyes like this: ಠ_ಠ. I was hoping they would say hi or ask if I needed help, but it was clear they were instructed by the owner to catch shoplifters which is a very fast way to drive potential buyers away and lose rapport. I'm not some shady individual either, being more polished than the workers themselves, so if you're more chill about your appearance BE VERY WARNED. Please save yourself from embarrassment. Give your business to stores that respect you, not ones that accuse you the moment you step in!

Do not purchase anything from here- was told I couldn’t open the bagged costume in store. Brought it home and there was GARBAGE (ripped cardboard with stains on it) in the bag. Spent $70 and they will not refund me.

Lots of choices, many adult costumes range from $69-$129 poorly made polyester outfits. Great accessories but too expensive.

For a store that size, they definitely had a lot of costumes left 2 days before Halloween weekend. Tons of costumes left of all kinds. Quite a good selection. But I must say some of their prices are outrageous. Things like a simple side cheap looking holster is $30. Those long "Satin" gloves are $25 there- $2 at the Dollarama next door. Package costumes seem to be only slightly higher in price, but accessories are through the roof. And it smells a bit in there.... If you are dt, and in a pinch, they have a lot. But it is more expensive.

The owner saying “racism isn’t even an issue in Canada” is a pretty ignorant thing to say. Racism is an issue in Canada and elsewhere. If you’re from Mexico and trying to settle down into another country, it’s best to form your business around the community. Selling Donald Trump masks is different from selling merchandise that has a confederate flag on it. Also, telling a customer to leave is never good business practice. Word of mouth travels fastest.

The amount of people following me in the store was overwhelming and unnecessary, I left with a bad taste about the store in general. Admittedly I had a stroller, but no bags were attached and even very visible under storage. There was no need for every male employee to be directly behind me and watching my every step. My experience was ruined by this and I definitely won’t ever be back here in the future. I recommend that future femme customers at this store are treated with more respect/ subtlety.

Really great place, they have a variety of items in stock. The mask section is a visual enjoyment. This store is a must-visit during October in Vancouver for kids or adults, whether you want to buy a costume or just make-up.

This Halloween Store is awesome. They have the whole costume that I was looking for and the best part is most of it is in new condition. I like the part where I don't have to hunt for pieces of a costume. It's all there from full costumes, accessories, make up and more. This is a one stop shop and that's what I like about it.

I went in to look at hairspray, I stayed within the first 7 feet of the store from the door, saw they didn't carry the colour I was looking for, and left. I wasn't even inside for 2 minutes and yet the security guard still felt the need to ask to check my bags, I think maybe they should pay more attention to what the customers are doing & stop stereotyping certain people on what they deem as suspicious activity. All I did was read a can of hairspray ????

Me and my friend entered the store today and an employer kept following us around at all times? He didn’t follow anyone else so it was very uncomfortable. In the end he asked to check my friend’s bag with at least two other employers standing around us; since you were following and staring at us all of the time you would’ve known we didn’t shoplift, very unnecessary and creepy.
