Very nice store, lots of great options and high quality pieces. Had my bridal outfit done here and I’m very happy with it and would gladly buy again. Clothes are a little high prices but standard pricing amongst stores. My only concern was that my outfit was delayed by almost two weeks. I would say order well beforehand and give them a leeway of a few weeks so you don’t scramble at the end. Beautiful work though and the owners were also concerned about the delay.

Salespeople are very nice and helpful, lots of selection and a very respectful atmosphere. A bit pricey, but there is some opportunities for price negotiation, and the outfits are well made with better than typical fabrics

I had a wonderful experience working with the owners and staff at Made in India. They were extremely open and receptive to my design ideas which resulted in 2 fantastic garments being created for my wedding and reception. They also have stunning designs of their own and perhaps most important I felt very comfortable with the staff and owners. Thank you for a great experience ????????

We went in to find a wedding lengha and the owner was very kind and accommodating. He advised his staff to help us further. The staff was very cold and snobby. When trying on the outfits they would not ask before just barging into the changing room (multiple times) to help fasten the zippers ect. The staff did not make us or the bride feel welcome and it almost felt like we were inconveniencing her (the staff). Would recommend the kind owner train his staff as these days service with a smile is everything.

Disclaimer: not Indian, but my boyfriend is. We just came here to look around. The store is huge, with an amazing selection ranging from casual to super fancy bridal. Many of the pieces are in the $100-$500 range.

I am a size 8-10. Went here for bridal wear shopping. All the sizes were so small (lehengas/lachas/suits) . Just the lehenga(skirt) would fit. Embarrassing experience. Made me feel very excluded. Other places had decent sizes and did fit alright. The staff was okay though! It’s the brand’s attitude towards sizing that was disappointing. Besides, definitely overpriced. Never going back irrespective of what size I am.

They follow you around as if you are going to steal something. The owners are rude and judgemental if you go there more than once to look. If you don't buy anything you get starred down and almost walked out. Do not shop here. The lady is especially rude and has a negative attitude which ruins your experience. I was trying to buy an outfit within a budget and was told there is nothing for you here.

I had the worst experience if I could rate them 0 I would. The sales associate are beyond rude, we had 2 follow us constantly and kept whispering and being disrespectful. My wedding is 7 months away so we thought we would browse and they told me how I should look a month before. Kindness and respect don't cost anything.

They are such a cheater ,showed us different saris oredred it from India ,,,but when we received they gave us same design but very very cheap garbage saris. When we asked to exchange or return they never returned.very big liar's. Don't go there.....

I just received my outfit for my daughter's wedding. It is absolutely gorgeous. Simi helped me pick my outfit by FaceTime. She was patient and showed me everything that she had in the store. We live in a small town in USA, and I desperately needed an outfit for the wedding. I spent over 100 hours online looking for an outfit!!! In 20 mins, Simi and I decided on this outfit. Thank you soooo much Simi:) Folks, don't waste your time online. If you live in the USA, with the exchange rate, it's much better if you shop at Made in India. When ever I'm in Vancouver I always shop in Made in India. They really are the best store for indian clothes. Thank you sooooo much, Made in India. Nicky S.

I highly recommend that no one shop here EVER! I've never experienced such rude and belittling service from a store before. They try to sell you over-priced pieces that are dirty, spoiled and falling apart. When questioned they yell at you in front of others and tell you to get out of their store. The owner himself is very rude and mean. Overall I will never shop here ever again!

This store does not deserve any stars!!!! The worst in Surrey ever!! Maybe the owner should teach the snobby sales associates not to judge people by the way they look when they walk in to the store! I heard the sales associates whispering to each other saying "why is she even looking around nothings going to even fit her" I wish I had called them out on the spot but just felt so terrible that I left the store. Did you ever think that maybe I was shopping and looking for an outfit for someone else? Not going to get very far selling outfits with having disgusting rude people working at your store with a bad attitude! I hope nobody has to go through with what I did! Learn a thing or 2 about how to run a business properly Made In India, trust me it wont kill you to be even just a tiny bit nice!

Rude customer service, bought a beautiful lengha from here and when I went home I found water stains on the blouse and skirt (from their steamer they said) - Took it back and they said they’d dry clean it for free. Still haven’t received it and it’s almost been 3 weeks...when I try to follow up they say it’s still at the dry cleaners and I have to wait for them to call because it’s not urgent...won’t be back here.

I buy majority of my outfits here and I absolutely love them! The owner is super sweet and always helps me find the perfect outfit. Got a custom piece made for my parents party and it was perfect! Everything was exactly how I wanted it and the quality was amazing.

Horrible! Offered no help and made snarky comments based on the way I looked. One associate came to help me get a better look at the bridal piece I was looking at, but the owner came and snatched it out of her handing telling me they don’t have time to help me. This is the second time I was discriminated based on my weight, last time I went in to try ready made clothes they fit and looked half-decent but I overheard two associates giggling about how I should look somewhere else because I definitely wasnt the type of clientele they wanted. Save your time and money, shop somewhere else!
