Enormous floor space. Everything is spread out, and multiple entrances from the main and side corridors. Unfortunately it's end of the winter season sale time and I needed gloves because of the severe wind chill this week, so I had to choose from what was left, which was nice but not as warm as I like. Also, since it was the end of the shopping day (closing at 6), staff was a little hard to find but very helpful and friendly when needed. Could only go after work, which is my problem. Will have to go back later in the week when they close @ 9.

Ordered curtains on sale, Simons then sent me an email saying they've modified my order, and the curtains have been removed. Called customer service, apparently even though I had paid for, and secured the curtains in my order, their website does not accurately reflect their stock and so they are able to modify orders after the fact. Nice new department store and a good competition to stores like the Bay or Nordstrom. The style of clothing they carry is modern bordering hipster, some items I'd expect to see at Urban Outfitters. I really liked a few items, not much on sale when I visited, compared to Gap or Old Navy. This is probably not the place when looking for real deals. The best thing is their European style Ève Café. We had a couple of pastries and coffee. The service was very friendly. We'll be back.

Super great store! If you are trying to decide to make a purchase online, buy it while it's still in stock because once it's out of stock, you may never see it again. I have regrets over not buying a few of a specific towel I liked. There is, however, one female staff member at the Park Royal store who I find excessively cloying and patronizing towards customers but rude to other staff members, and the sound of her voice drives me crazy, so I avoid her like the plague. I love Simons anyway!

A great addition to park Royal a few years ago and one of the few stores with a unique set of things to buy. This east coast flavour is a real refresher when you compare it to a lot of the other brands that have become permanent installations on the west coast. This multi-storey department store is relatively well priced, although it's not difficult to find yourself spending more than you expected once you've done your rounds of the floors. With their clothing there are some unique designs that tend to be a bit modern and it's a great place if you're looking for a change of style.

Simons is one of my favourite places to browse/shop since it opened at Park Royal in 2015, especially during sales season. They have a good mix of affordable and designer brands, although their in-house labels occupy more than half the sales floor, which narrows my browsing route. Their selection of footwear is weak, comprised mostly of preeminent sneaker brands Nike, Adidas, Converse, New Balance, and Puma; dress shoes are negligible. Designer shoes have most carried brands represented, but limited styles and sizes. Accessories, excluding a plethora of ties, is equally insignificant as it occupies a small section. As far as designer apparel goes, Simons carries traditional brands like Calvin Klein Collection, Paul Smith, Versace, and Armani as well as niche and hard-to-find designers like Wooyoungmi, D.Gnak, Ovadia & Sons, Ports 1961, Maison Mihara Yasuhiro, Études, PLAC, J.W. Anderson, and Umit Benan, to name a few. Diesel Black Gold and Comme des Garçon PLAY are permanent fixtures. Anyone who appreciates designer fashion should frequent Simons. Their selection and sizes may be limited, but that's part of the fun in searching. As I mentioned, Simons' in-house labels make up the majority of the floor. Their casual apparel, while well designed, I can do without. Their suits, however, are well made with mostly natural European fabrics and fit well at affordable prices (sub $500 range). The alterations department is good for what I had done (suit hemmed at the jacket sleeves and trouser legs with turn-ups). Anyone shopping for a suit should consider Simons' Le31 line. Simons doesn't have stockrooms, and therefore, don't carry stock so what you see on the floor is what you get. If the floor looks empty at times it's because stock has been cleared or what didn't sell went back, or elsewhere. During sale season their discounts can run steep—up to 85% or more, so show up early. Prices will drop over the course of a few weeks from when a sale starts, as evidenced by multiple price stickers on tags. I've noticed overtime that when Simons replenishes stock they also get new brands and styles, albeit still in small quantities and limited sizes. I have peculiar shopping habits so I can't speak about customer experience. From what I gather the sales associates try, but as a customer, don't expect much. If you want designer brands you're better off going to Holt Renfrew or Leone, and if you're after niche and harder-to-find brands, visit smaller boutiques like Roden Gray and Haven. While Simons falls short by comparison I've found some amazing deals, so I recommend it to any serious shopper.

Walked in here this week when shopping for clothes. I tried many different chains in the mall just looking for some nice decent quality clothes, and boy were they all so disappointing. I was ready to give up until I remembered that someone told me they thought I would like this store. I am so sad I didn't come sooner! They have so many different styles/niches of clothing available, even some super modern fun party clothes which was such a nice addition. The best part is the quality+price of the items. You would pay the same price at many chain stores for clothes that will fall apart when you wash them, but not here. This is now tied for my fave store with Uni-Qlo, but I think if I go back here more and more it may become my absolute fave. Got some nice workwear and accessories, it was so hard not to buy everything.

I'd give this location a 4 because the staff is always really nice and you occasionally find unique things to wear, but there is one thing about this location that drives me insane. There's an old man (possibly homeless?) Who will not stop talking to you unless you completely ignore him and walk away in this location. He's not threatening or rude, it's just every single time I'm in this Simon's he will not stop talking to you (or other people around you) in his loudest voice possible and is constantly getting in People's way. It's just hectic. Sometimes he will talk to you again and again until staff ask him to stop, which he will, but that's why it goes to a 3.

Simons is definitely a top-tier destination of the Park Royal Mall with an amazing array of style and product on 2 levels. Located at the west entrance to the enclosed mall at the Main Street intersection (with parking and additional 2nd level entrance), this historic Quebec-based department store provides a fine and broad selection of both North American and European fashion. The space is bright and expansive with a central atrium featuring Douglas Coupland art work ("Bow Tie" | cf. his other public sculpture at Grosvenor Ambleside -- "Tree Snag" ) suspended above the escalators. Truly wonderful place with wonderful people. Always a pleasure to visit and especially during the Holiday Season -- to really put you in the spirit.

Very nice clothing store where you can find something for every taste. Simons has been around the Quebec city shopping ecosystem for 100+ years. Covid-19 was really difficult for this great local business. Please check them out in stores and online. Service and help could be a bit better in shops but is still ok. Not many employees speak English though. Hope they keep up for another 100 years. Check the Fontaine de Tourny un front of the parliament building, it is gift from this company to give to the community. It is beautiful, especially at night.

What a nice change it was today to walk into a store selling goods NOT the same as everywhere else! I found Christmas gifts for 5 family members, a couple of treats for myself, and even my husband who hates shopping tried on some stuff and came home with a sweater. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised with some of the deals I found on a few clearance items here. Unfortunately it has zero flow, you will be looking at bathing suits with winter gear. Everything is every where all scAttered in different sections... it’s a lot going on. Staff not very friendly or helpful, only engaged when I approached them. Random high high end section a dress for $1500 then low low end a top for 5 bucks. We bought the top :). Pretty changing room but could use a good dusting/cleaning.

I love this store. It’s bright and clean, easy to find items using their app. All sorts of clothing types whatever your style. Neat home decor too. Decent quality in house stuff for the price, though they have lots of high end designers too. Employees are dressed well, always walk around the register to hand your purchase, and are friendly on the phone. Usually free shipping online which is awesome as North Van is a trek, and mailing returns back is free.
