Tried some clothes on, found something I liked, then got it ordered in (i paid for the dress as well). 2 months later the dress came in and they ordered the wrong size. They loosened the dress, but it was still tight. Told me to loose weight before my wedding and told me to come back 1 week before the wedding to loosen it some more. The dress isnt made to be loosened, after loosening it you can see the stitch marking and it is easy to tear. And when altering clothes you want the dress to be a little bigger and then alter it to a smaller size, not the other way around. They just want to make money, so if you ever do go here to buy a dress, check if there is any breaks or previous alterations done. Once you buy the dress they treat you differently and are not as accommodating.

Michelle the owner is amazing. They had updated their hours so I would recommend you call in advance before going. Their prices are definitely reasonable and an average Qi Pao would range $270 ish which is a great price. We visited a few Chinese wedding shops in Richmond (Yaohan and Parker Place) and the selection is not as good and price range is around $450. KK Boutique has a great selection from traditional and modern styles and she can help you with alternations and she is very knowledgeable of what looks good and is appropriate. She even had kid options, more casual Qi Pao, shoes and accessories? Totally recommend this place if you are looking for a Qi Pao!

Wonderful place to get Chinese attire. I got my Chinese 2 piece wedding dress here and it's such great quality. The owner, Michelle, has been opened for 22 years and is very kind and helpful. She didn't pressure us to buy anything and made suggestions for alterations. There were also lots of dresses (not for bridal) for anyone interested. The prices ranged from $98+.

Lovely boutique shop located in China Town. They have lots of selection if you are looking for Chinese Traditional Dress. They can custom made any style you like or you can pick one off the rack. Lots of sizes available. The staff there are maazingr, super friendly and the owner Michelle plays beautiful Chinese string instrument (Guqin). Items are reasonably priced.

This little shop is great! My husband and I stopped in during the afternoon before our Chinese wedding banquet dinner (having been married a few weeks before). We were hoping to pick up a traditional red dress for myself to wear that evening, if possible. The staff was very helpful; they picked out a few that would potentially fit. After trying them on and choosing one, they did alterations on the spot. I purchased it, left the store wearing it and we headed off to our dinner. And the dress was a hit!

Best service and cutest store owner+assistant ever. Walking in was like walking into the store your auntie owns and runs. Will treat you like their own niece/daughter, helpful in giving style advice and getting sizes for you. Chose a dress, paid, and then changed my mind (before they could alter it, at least) - they accommodated all of that with ease. If you're looking for a cheongsam/qipao make sure you allot a good hour or more in there to try on the options they have. They've been doing this business for decades, so they know what's looks good for which occasions, and willing to give discounts if they see you need it. Speaking Canto or Mandarin definitely gives a plus for service! Overall 10/10 would recommend :)

Store woman talked about me behind my back saying "Only Chinese people are ok here". I'm mixed so that was awful, and they ignored me and didn't bother helping me. She didn't help me find the changerooms, she yelled and pointed at a doorway. She immediately helped another woman only because she was Asian. Really obvious racism, and this store should get closed down.

My fiancée and I were looking for a Chinese traditional outfit for our wedding. Luckily we made a stop at this cosy storefront in Chinatown. We met the owner, Michele, and she was really accommodating. She’s been in the business for many years, designs her own clothing and genuinely loves what she does. We found some styles we liked and she flew to Asia to bring back some more sizes to cater to our needs. The store itself is a little small and offers various styles for rental or purchase. Women’s dresses range from $150 - $1000+ Men’s tops were much more affordable at around $100+ Styles ranged from more traditional to more modern (shoulders exposed and higher leg slits for women’s dresses) Overall the experience was wonderful and you feel like family when you’re working with them! We love what we purchased and would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Make sure you go several months before your need it as they offer free alterations and may need to order in new sizes.
