We went all the way back to fetch the clothes and brought them over-brand-new clothes, all the labels and invoices were there, but they were not refunded. The white old man wearing glasses said that he must return the goods before he can do a price match. ...But you don't give us a refund...Doesn't you treat the customer as a human being? Such a rude clerk has brought many negative effects to this mall. The ball is over. Train your sales staff well. I went into this store today to purchase a new Canada Goose jacket for myself. The saleswoman was very short with me, and, when going to the stock room to find the right jacket in my size, took so long that my girlfriend and I began to wonder if she was coming back at all. When she finally returned, she said they don't have what I was looking for. As a compromise, I asked if I could just try on a different colour in my size that was on the rack instead. She refused to remove the security cable that runs through the arm, saying that it was, and I quote, "impossible to remove.", with a tone that I implied I wasn't worth her time, and probably couldn't afford it, anyways. She proceeded to then half-heartedly suggest a few other jackets adjacent to the one I was inquiring about, seemingly at random, completely disregarding the criteria I had described to her moments earlier. I said thanks, and we left to go look for my jacket elsewhere. Unfortunately, no other stores at Pacific Centre had the jacket I was looking for, so we returned to Harry Rosen about 45 minutes later just to try on the one that was my size with the security cable, and were greeted by another saleswoman who was, again, very short with us. "Did you forget? We don't have that one in your size." Was literally her greeting. "This is from the last season. It is last year's style. We cannot order one for you." (Which seemed like unusual, as it was, and is, currently available on the Harry Rosen website for order.). She repeatedly brought up problems with the purchase, without making any sort of an effort to suggest any solutions or to even once apologize for the inconvenience. Again, she spoke with a tone that reeked of superiority and pretension. It was almost as if she was trying to talk me out of buying it so I wouldn't have to waste any more of her time. I don't expect the world of retail employees, but they could at least just be polite, make some sort of an effort with a prospective sale. Even if they can't procure the jacket I was looking for, had I been treated well and had a good experience, I would have certainly returned for the restock next season. Now I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

After shopping around at numerous stores, the service provided by Enos at Harry Rosen blew me away. Enos quickly gained my trust by showcasing his attention to detail, professionalism, and knowledge of clothes. He consistently gave me great fashion advice with the sizing of the suit, design, and colors. I was always provided with multiple options to pick from, and Enos made me feel confident in my decided choices. I went with a custom-tailored Atelier Munro suit, and James, the manager, came out to help do my measurements. James was also highly professional, and I was very impressed with his attention to detail. I always have trouble getting the right suit jacket right since I have such a broad build, but he noticed right away without even me mentioning this issue. I can highly recommend anyone looking for a suit or any other formal garments to ask for Enos. I was completely blown away from this experience as it was a day and night difference with the service Harry Rosen provided compared to other suit stores. I will, without a doubt, come back to Harry Rosen for all of my future needs.

Sale associate was very judgmental at Vancouver Pacific Centre Harry Rosen. Went in and asked one of the sales associate if he could show us any leather jackets for my partner. He took one look at us and said “there’s nothing for you guys”. He went on to “try” to show us couple of jackets but it felt extremely demeaning. I felt so humiliated by the whole experience. Will choose to visit elsewhere for better service.

Great experience at Harry Rosen and with clothing advisor Enos Lu. I went in to go purchase a suit and was a bit nervous going in as I wanted my space and did not want to get bombarded by associates asking how I was doing. I was provided my space and when I needed help someone was there. Enos helped me find a suit to my specifications and brought the perfect one for me. The price was right and the quality of the suit was very good. Enos was able to get the fittings done in a timely manner and I was in and out of the store in less than 45minutes. Enos’ personality and attitude was great all around and was super easy to talk to him. Definitely recommend anyone coming in to go find Enos! He was extremely helpful and answered any questions I had.

As soon as I was introduced to Moe Akbari, I saw a notable difference in the attention to detail and overall quality in my suits. After several suits now, I will never shop with anyone but him. I'm not a big spender, but I was moving up in my career and I wanted to look into some entry-level brand-name suits. I want to thank Dan Miller for taking the time to help me find a quality suit that worked with my budget. I ended up getting a Samuelsohn suit in the winter and was very happy with the fit, colour, and quality. I contacted Dan again in the summer and bought a Z-Zegna suit. I'm definitely not a regular Harry Rosen customer, but there are promotions throughout the year where you can get a deal on those entry-level luxury brands. If you're on a budget like me, it helps to do some research on your end and know what you're looking for; I'm sure your salesperson will be very helpful and not pressure you into buying something you don't need.

Based on previous experience I think Harry Rosen have a good selection but the service is terrible here. we went there today to buy a pair of pants and after describing what we are looking for, the sales associate welcoming us in persian brought us a pair. my husband tried it on but we were hesitating and didn't feel like it's what we want. the SA noticing our hesitation got obviously frustrated and literally told us that's it and acted like we should go out of the store. I went into this store on Fri Dec 8 after work to see if they had something my dad would enjoy as a holiday gift. I've purchased numerous gifts from this location over the years, a few of which were Fred Perry polo shirts for Christmas. I asked a shorter, dark-haired sales associate with an underbite and lisp - standing in the middle of the store doing nothing - if there were any polo shirts available. He answered, "No, it's winter". Ok. Any chance you still carry Fred Perry? "No, it's not high-end enough for us." Well, I guess that’s one way of saying ‘Go away, you’re not wanted here.’ As I was getting ready to walk away from him, he continued on with his condescension asking "Why do you want a polo shirt? Does he live in Arizona?" I told him it was for my dad and it's what he likes to wear, but was this necessary? Who needs this kind of grief over a polo shirt?? What the heck is this guy's problem? You sell shirts for a living, you're no better than the teenager working at Urban Behaviour, get over yourself.

Harry Rosen's main focus is high-end, designer, classical tailoring, and sportswear. The Ermenegildo Zegna across the hall flanking the entrance to Holt Renfrew is part of Harry's (correct me if I'm wrong). Its products target middle-aged men, professionals, and men who don't know how to dress themselves. The young crowd will prefer Holt's more ostentatious offering, while Harry's attracts the more reserved. Sales associates are generally helpful in giving advice and good customer service—you're never short on people greeting you. Staff is diverse, and not Asian-centric like other luxury retailers. When I think Harry Rosen, I think "meh..." Nothing extraordinary, and wouldn't be my first choice when I shop but it's a solid store that serves its target customers.

She has been an incredible help, makes great suggestions and finds good deals for me that work with my wardrobe and budget, even pushing me to try something new on occasion. Upon arriving in store I was greeted by Wes, the managing director. He was warm and engaging, and exuded an aura of calm, quiet confidence. Even with the additional demands of managing all the Harry Rosen stores in the region, he devoted himself without hesitation to the entire process of assisting me in purchasing a new suit. After discussing my requirements, I was shown to a well lit private changing area and presented with a selection of beautifully designed suits from Hugo Boss, Armani and Z Zegna. Wes's choices were stylish and well suited to my specifications, his experience and advice invaluable. His accessory suggestions were also impeccable, providing options for matching shirts, shoes, belts, and pocket squares. One of the things that really puts Harry Rosen ahead of the rest is their commitment to the customer. They have a lifetime maintenance guarantee which provides complementary alterations and repairs for the life of the suit, free of charge onsite tailoring, and a generous returns policy should the garment need to be repaired, replaced or returned. I felt very confident choosing a beautiful dark navy Drop 8, Z Zegna suit and 2 stylish slim fit Eton dress shirts, and with Wes expediting the minimal alterations required, I was able to pick them up within the week. A special mention also to Vinh who provided expert tailoring advice and attentive assistance. Overall my experience at Harry Rosen was simply outstanding, from the excellent customer service to the extensive range of quality suits and accessories. I highly recommend you visit them first, when you are in the market for your next suit.

When we first walked in the store before Christmas, Johnny was the first to greet us and made us feel welcome from the start. I ended up buying a whole outfit and ordered more, and Johnny did all my fitting, gave me advice and will assist me with all the clothes still being shipped there for me. On top of that he communicated with me by text to let me know my clothes were ready and kept in touch until I finally picked up my altered clothes. I'm happy to say Harry Rosen will be the only place I do business with as I'm redoing my wardrobe. Thank you Johnny for the amazing service, you made a customer for as long as you work there.

Harry Rosen continues to be the go-to destination in town for menswear due to the fantastic customer service. In my case, I have had the same Associate (Domenic Smaldino) for almost thirty years and the trust in that relationship for service and advice is at the heart of brand value you rarely get in retail these days. Overall, I am a fan of Harry Rosen - however, I can not say I'm a fan of this particular store. I booked a 11:00 appointment online, and was confirmed that I would be meeting with Natalia P. I arrived a few minutes early, and asked if someone could direct me to Natalia - I was asked to take a seat.......after 30 minutes of waiting and Natalia a no show, I just left annoyed. What's the point of booking an appointment? Update - the GM reached out and acknowledged the mistake, which was appreciated. Natalie didn't start until 1:00, it was an error in their system. Sometimes a simple apology goes a long way....I'm back to being a fan.

Like Mr. Harry Rosen stated; treat every customer like an individual. This really come true in terms of service. Trust me, in Harry Rosen, tailors are really polite and will never look down on you no matter what you're wearing. However, as a customer at Harry Rosen, it's sad for Harry Rosen to change their policy of free tailoring during Covid - 19. As that being said, I look forward to having that free tailoring policy back after Covid!

Where do I start? For a customer who comes to this establishment quite regularly, I was quite disappointed at the service I received. After repeatedly trying to get some assistance (on a day which wasn't particularly busy) I had to give up and attend the OC location (who were brilliant by the way). Staff were quick to attend those who were accesorised in LV or Gucci, most of whom upon close observation were not making any purchases! Very disappointed with this particular experience. Normally they are great. I hope this was just a one off.

I have been shopping at Harry Rosen for a long time. There actually was a Harry Rosen when I started shopping back in the day. Well, I was to attend the interment of my sister Marilyn's ashes. I had a Boss black suit that I had purchased some years earlier but needed a top-of-the-line white dress shirt. I checked the Harry Rosen website and found a contemporary fit Canali dress shirt that was perfect. When I entered the store a young woman helped me but I did not care for her suggestions, one of which was the Harry Rosen brand. From my experience, it's best to deal with a sales person who belongs to the Millionaires Club. Eventually I found the Canali shirt I wanted and the salesman promised to have the sleeves altered within a week, the day before I flew out. Thanks for your help.

There was only one long delayed from my last order. At Tom Ford. They somehow lost my pant on the way from Italy and Sim helped me solve the problem at the end. I highly recommend the store.

Best menswear store in Vancouver. More selection than the closed down Oakridge store. Wide selection of formal wear such as jackets and shirts. They also carry lounge and casual wear as well and there is plenty to choose from. Great and consistent quality of merchandise and the brands they carry are excellent as well! Service here is unmatched. On my visits, I’ve been helped by my style advisor Caroline Liu. She has always provided exceptional service and is very professional. Her colleague Tiger has also been helpful as well. Staff here aren’t pushy at all and they give you your space. Overall, would recommend instead of other larger department stores as the service and quality of goods they carry here is the best, bar none.

Just briefly wanted to share my recent experience in the store. Fred helped me find a pair of dress shoes that suited my style as well as my budget. I had ordered a pair of shoes in store through Fred and left satisfied overall. Through no fault of his own, Fred contacted me the next day to inform me that apparently the dress shoes couldn't be located at the other store. He went on to find some other alternatives that were similar to the original product I had ordered and we managed to find a great alternative. Fred definitely went above and beyond my expectations. I would highly suggest that anyone stopping by the store speak to Fred. Fred was really friendly, professional and detail oriented. It definitely makes it worth stopping by the store whenever I'm in town.

I've always thought of Harry Rosen as stuffy, but I've been invited for my citizenship ceremony next week and haven't bought any new formal shirts since pandemic, so went in to buy a shirt. I was intercepted by a short stout chap wearing glasses who asked me if I wanted help finding anything. I'm a 6'3 guy with annoyingly long arms. Very few clothing brands fit me off the peg, especially in N. America. I asked the attendant if Harry Rosen stocked any brands that offer different sleeve lengths. While I expected to hear "no" I didn't expect to be told "no, we don't, only weaker shirting brands do that". I walked out mid-sentence as I didn't want to darken Harry Rosen's towers with the "weak" shirt I was already wearing. One of the grossest, most off putting, and nonfactual things I've heard from a sales attendant. Looks I will be spending the rest of my days torn between wearing ill-fitting/rolled up sleeves from "strong" brands that Harry Rosen stocks, or tailored, well fitting shirts from "weak" brands.

I would have given negative stars if possible. I went there with my husband to get collar stays and a few other small leather goods. The sales people, even single one of them, literally saw past us, like we were invisible. What is worse was a few of them actually manage to make eye contact with me and pretended that they did not catch my eyes. We were looking for help for over 20 mins, no one even acknowledged us. Finally we walked up to the counter where a gentleman helped us and all my husband wanted was the collar stays. What he said turned me off completely that I swore to never support this store every again. He said "that's it? That is all you are going to get? Come on, get other stuff to make it worth my while!" Never in my life have I been so applauded and disrespected by a store presented to have class and prestige. We weren't dressed head to toe in designer, but we were polite and just wanted to get help. Seriously Harry Rosen, you should be ashamed of your training as well as brand direction. Money does not buy you class and you are a pinnacle of that.

I purchased Thom Browne grey sweater on Oct. 4th, 2021 in Harryrosen Pacific Centre.. When I purchased this item, the sweater had quality issue in store. So I asked sales guy to give me the brand new one. After checking the store warehouse, They told me that he did not have new one in store, and have to mail me one. He asked me whether or not it is ok. I told him I am fine. On Oct.8th, 2021, I still did not receive the package it is amost two weeks. FedEx and HarryRosen all do not want to take responsibility for this. I also called store manager Alnoor Dawwod. He told me he cannot make any decision. HarryRosen has very poor aftersales service and poor reputation. I warn all of you to be careful if you want to purchase item from HarryRosen.

I had never been to Harry Rosen before but for my wedding I wanted a a fitted black tie tuxedo to call my own. When I walked in I was treated as if I owned the store. I was greeted by a Mr. Saeed Esmaeilioun and I have never been treated with such exceptional customer service as I had with him. Not only was he tentative to all my needs, but when I changed my mind on an item he received it back with the same grace as he did when I first purchased it. When the day came to try on my new tux Saeed came in on his day off solely for my appointment. He stayed as long as he needed to until I was satisfied. He also offered some suggestions to my mother who joined me on some dress ideas and colours. She took his advice and was complimented many times at the wedding. Harry Rosen, do what's necessary to make sure Saeed stays on your staff; your store is at a loss without him. On his own he could be a consultant in retail for customer service. Go to Harry Rosen for the fine clothing and ask for Saeed Esmaeilioun and his level of service will be your bargain. Exceptional!

In-store experience - ok. Online experience - horrible. They haven't been emailing tracking/shipment confirmation. Between Harry Rosen and Canada post, it's a big mess of hunting and wondering about your order. Customer service doesn't appear to pickup the phone during normal business hours (time zone difference noted). Made an online order Tuesday night (the item in particular had 1 in stock at the Pacific Centre location). I did not receive a shipment confirmation, just like my last order that I had to chase down 2 weeks ago, so I called the store directly on Friday. They told me they received the order but the item was just sitting in the stock room, unaccounted for, with no intention of being shipped out yet. After catching their mistake, I told them that I would like for Harry Rosen to deliver the item immediately via express shipping - my request was disregarded the next day and they are choosing to ship standard beginning on Monday. It seems they were not willing to do anything to redeem their error. I was not impressed. I definitely expected better from a luxury goods store which I've spent thousands of dollars at.

Will try to sell you products based on a "lifetime tailoring warranty" but will not fully explain the caveats of the warranty and then refuse to honour it -- buyer beware - I spent $1100 on a suit in 2015 - The salesperson at the time reassured me multiple times I would be able to bring in the suit to be altered for up to two sizes, and this policy would be valid for a lifetime. - I went into this location to get my suit tailored a few days ago. - A sales associate and the manager told me for the most part the suit is unalterable as the suit's manufacturer did not leave fabric room to allow for alterations - The manager offered me a $100 credit for the inconvenience and misunderstanding. - I emailed Wes at customerservice@harryrosen.com,spoke with him over the phone. I told him: 1. At no point did the initial salesperson inform me about the manufacturer-specific limitations to tailoring, and repeatedly emphasized the lifetime tailoring policy when selling the suit. 2. I felt the $100 is inadequate to compensate for a product which I have spent $1100 for. In response, Wes felt Harry Rosen sold me a suit in good faith as: 1. I have worn the suit for five years, and if I saw a problem with the tailoring then, I would have brought it back 2. Harry Rosen cannot be held accountable for "drastic" weight or body shape changes I explained to Wes: 1. When the suit was first tailored upon purchase, I felt it was already a bit tight but was reassured by the salesperson that suits are supposed to be fitted as such and it is normal for it to feel a bit tight. Furthermore, I've only worn the suit a handful of times and have not even dry cleaned the suit 2. I've only gained 10lbs, which is a reasonable ask to be eligible for the changes to be within 2 sizes (most internet sources state change in 2 sizes is approximately equal to change in 25-35lbs) Even with the explanations, he was not able to give me more than a $100 store credit. He said Harry Rosen is having a sale and I could probably buy a pair of pants or a full suit for a discounted price. I am very disappointed with the customer service and do not feel like I got the value of a $1100 suit at all. I'm left with a suit which I can't even bend down to tie my shoelaces in, and would not recommend buying from Harry Rosen at all. If you are, ask about the manufacturer-specific limitations to tailoring. Wes/Harry Rosen, please let me know if I have misrepresented anything or would like to further discuss options.

It's unfortunate the Oak Ridge location is temporarily closed down but I'm glad most of the team is still working downtown. They carry a fantastic selection and I enjoy the perks with being a Sartoria Club member. My only feedback for improvement is they should carry smaller sizes for people with slim built.

Not my regular store, but the SA, Matt, was incredibly attentive. He understood that I would be buying some items there, but was also perusing to purchase from my SA in my home city. I bought my wedding suit at Harry Rosen and it was a $2,400 Zegna 3-piece suit. The sales associate was very knowledgeable and that part of my experience was fairly positive. There was an issue with the durability of the suit. Initially, I was presented with some options that weren't satisfactory and then the management at Harry Rosen went above and beyond to remedy the situation. They were fantastic in following up to ensure we reached an appropriate resolution for a new suit. They were extremely knowledgeable and professional in their handling of the situation to make sure I was happy with the result.

Having recently moved to Vancouver from Toronto, I can honestly say that I have never experienced such poor customer service from any retailer. EVER. I have had my fair share of poor customer service experiences with the Harry Rosen brand over the years and prior to finding my two advisors (one at the Yorkdale location and one at the Eaton Centre location). Unfortunately, I think that I will be taking my business elsewhere when it comes to in-store purchases and/or shopping online with the brand via my trusted advisors in the Toronto locations. I think that Larry Rosen would be absolutely stunned if he was aware of the way the staff diminishes and tarnishes the brand. Overhearing employees speak about their clients in the store is completely and utterly disrespectful. Especially when they are still being serviced... I understand that high-end retail comes with its fair share of "challenging clients", but customer service and the level of professionalism demanded of employees should not diminish when dealing with others clients. Employees at this location should be cultured on the nature of their business. The high-end retail environment, where "experience" is an integral part to building lasting relationships and brand loyalty, requires customers to be treated with respect (subject to certain exceptions) and professionalism.

I don't think she took my observation/feedback seriously.. Overall, a very bad experience.. some great salespeople among the overly aggressive hordes that descend on you as you walk in the door. they cannot even hem a suit accurately. at least 4 times now over 15 years they have hemmed pants for me with mismatched lengths. I am still waiting for a suit that was purchased mid november (2 months ago) all it required was the waist let out a little and the pants to be hemmed. Zero reason to go back. Salesperson was good but i will not put up with the the incompetent tailoring ever again.

He greeted warmly when i came into the store. Also big thank to Leona, who was super patient and nice. I recently came across a coat online and attended the HR downtown store to inquire. Alfred Lam was eager and able to assist me in sourcing the jacket. He immediately made some phone calls out East and was able to bring in one of the last ones from Montreal, within a week, and then have it tailored within days. A true miracle worker! My dealings with Alfred were consistently impressive from start to finish. A true professional with a clear eye for style. I also understand he recently moved to the downtown branch from Oakridge. I would think they are truly lucky to have him. Will shop again!
