I believe it was the store manager due to different uniform.. she told my 4 year old to pull his mask to cover his nose and he complained he can't breath and was told to leave smfh other than that the staffs were good and store was great.. now I have to buy a better mask for my 4 year old to breath comfortable ????

I called in today looking for a Darth Vader costume for my son. The gal who helped me on the phone was very kind and professional, and let me know that they were on sale but that they couldn't be held. I made it in a little later that morning, and there were none left on the shelves. A very kind gentleman told me to hold on while he looked in the back; lo and behold, he managed to find one last Darth Vader costume mixed in with the Kylo Ren costumes- the exact size I needed! The quality is much better than what online costume stores were selling, and the price was completely reasonable. I wound up buying two costumes, partly because of the sale, but mostly because the staff were so wonderful.

Extremely disappointed that they are requesting kids two and up to wear a mask. We were asked to leave because my two year old didn't have a mask. They aren't even required to wear them in elementary school. The WHO say kids under 5 should not be required to wear a mask due to safety of the child. In BC kids under twelve are not required to wear a mask but are to be encouraged to wear one. It was a fight to get my child out of the store and it was hard to explain to him why we had to leave as he doesn't speak much yet. Then as we leave they say"have a magical day". Thanks.... Way to add fuel to the fire. I will certainly not be returning to any Disney store.

I love this place I had been looking for the Disney kids collection for $126.00 in the store unfortunately they were all sold out. The next time I went to the store I saw them in the clearance items for $80.00 so I asked the guy about it and he told me he was at another Disney store and saw lots of these left in clearance and told them he would sell some for them at his store because lots of people had been asking about them. I regret not getting more it was such a great deal.

If I could give this Store a minus I would...Horrible Customer Service! The staff are not friendly or helpful...the really lack Training. I will never shop at this location again after being treated so horribly. I would advise you to shop at either the Metrotown or Pacific Center locations as their staff are Amazing compared to this store. Such a disappointment for a Disney shopping experience.

Crazy busy store, only shopped here during recent sale for costumes. Very pricey in general, for example xmas ornaments were over $20. Music and video area gets annoying, not for people who avoid noises. Selection of clothes and costumes was good, as well as service.

Although there is lots of great merchandise to buy, one employee was following me around. When I placed the stuff I was carrying around down the employee came up to me and asked if I had placed it down and once I told her yes and where she went and looked immediately I understand that theft is a problem but this was a little too far for me personally and kinda ruined the experience. I guess I'll still try to have a magical day ????

I am a Disney fan.....the stores are disappointing me lately, the new .99 cent bag charge is the latest slap...lots of cheaply done poly-cotton clothing etc. the quality is just not there anymore and the prices are still high...quite disappointing

.It's worth to spend a day here. I strongly recommend you go here if you have the chance. Great place to play with the toys and have fun. Staff is really nice and it's always full in there. If you like better parking you should go elsewhere

not worth it, terrible customer service ✋???? came here last week to potentially buy some Winnie the Pooh boots, but I was told at the door VERY rudely that I was not allowed in, unless I was for sure making a purchase. I told the worker that I was going to buy the boots if they fit obviously and he still said no and called someone who seemed like the manager. The manager came out and was really rude and said he had never seen the boots I was looking for and made it seem as if I was wasting his time. So I left and as I looked back I saw the boots on a different display ???????? I’m just saying if you work at a Disney store you might want to hire people who are actually pleasant ????????

The staff gave me a eye roll cause I did buy the reusable bag she recommended. She said "just so you know we will not provide plastic bags soon." My kids love this store. The only thing that makes no sense to me is why do they not sell Disney movies at the Disney store. They could carry every Disney movie including hard to find ones and they would sell a ton of them especially now that movies are getting harder to find. I guess we will just have to wait for Disney+.

The elderly ladies working there need a crash course on how to speak to people properly, I was rudely spoken to by 2 grinch like women. Its COVID time and all of us can easily shop on line but we chose to come in store for a quick visit to spend $150 a child for Halloween to brighten our kids day. What happened to the Disney magic? Next time I'll stick to spirit Halloween. Side note there was a really nice young man at the till who was way nicer. Disney needs to ditch the Karen's.

I agree with the last post. Our kids were so excited to visit the Disney store and unfortunately the experience was ruined by an incredibly rude blonde lady that works there. She seemed to be unusually rude for no apparent reason, making very snarky and mean remarks to some shoppers. I just felt so bad for everyone. It's too bad, because every other person in the store was so kind, helpful and cheery. Hopefully the store addresses the issue and this individual realizes the impact an attitude can make on a child/visitors experience. It really is so unfortunate for the other staff and the visitors that understand how magical that place is for some.

Horrible customer service. I’ve been going to this Disney store location for a few years now and have always had a pleasant experience, but lately the customer service has gone down hill. Yesterday me and my daughter were inside looking at toys and mom decided to follow us. She lined up as per usual outside of the store. Several people had already left the the store but the employee who was letting people in didn’t acknowledge her to come in. So while she was waiting, she walked to the other side of the entrance to peep the window and see if we were still inside. As she did this two other customers lined up to go inside. He let them in and when my mom said she was in line before them (she was just looking to see if we were still inside), he said she wasn’t in line. He told her to stay where she was and he would let her in next. At this point a family of 5 had lined up. One customer left and he let the entire family of 5 inside the store. My mom questioned him and said she was supposed to be next, as per what he said. He again said she wasn’t in the “correct” line up and had to go to the “actual” line, when he was the one who said she could stay where she was. He was clearly discriminating. When my mom asked why he was letting groups of people in 5 at a time when only 1 person left, he said it was “company policy.” He kept saying she would be let in next but clearly continued letting others in before her. At this point I could hear what was going on outside and me and my daughter left. He still wouldn’t let her in and when he saw us leave together he said, “Have a magical day.” ARE YOU KIDDING ME? HOW FRICKIN RUDE. Until Disney decides to educate their employees on discrimination and racism, I won’t be a customer and won’t ever go back to this location.

This place sucks. You're better off going to Walmart or something. Firstly, they don't sell Disney books. Rather, all you get is a poor selection of overpriced cheap quality made in China products that don't work with a side of poor customer service. I purchased two remote control cars for a four year old for his birthday, neither of which work. Not only was the birthday boy disappointed in his birthday butt it was also hugely embarrassing . Right away I called the store and spoke with "Alex", who I found to be most condescending and unhelpful. I left my name and number for the manager Jeff to call me back at. It's now been five days and I still have not received the courtesy of a return call and I'm still stuck with two cars that don't work. Not what one would expect from a once iconic brand like Disney.

I went to the store with my 3 year old and the staff asked him to put a mask. At the beginning my son did but after a min he took it right off. The staff asked me if my son could put the mask on because it’s their policy for anyone over two years old to wear a mask. I did try but he didn’t want to put it on. The staff just rudely said “ well if he is not wearing a mask then you’ll have to leave the store”.I told them he is 3 years old. And do you think even a 2 year old can wear a mask for a long time. Even the provincial rule is that under 12 years old don’t have to wear a mask, but thankfully a lot of kids over 5 years old do and so does my 6 year old. Also the store falls under this province. They kept saying there’s a sign outside, well do you think a 2 year old can read? If this is the case then they shouldn’t even have the store open, after all it’s not essential service. Very rude and unprofessional staff.
