Outstanding selection of toys and clothes. Husband and I went in this weekend, just looking for a personal item for myself. The girl working that day was extremely helpful to us. She was very patients, and happy to go through the functions of many items. In the end, I bought a very expensive personal item, and a very nice dress from the store. I was very pleased with the selection, and will certainly be back.

The products they sell are very cheap yet they advertise it as great quality when most of their products made in China. And the girl we spoke to on the phone was quite rude. Lacey is her name. She accused me of swearing and yelling at her when all I was asking was an exchange. And she hung up on me. I would give this store no ratings as they false advertise.

I have been a long time customer of this store, I visited this past Thursday (feb 11, 2016 early evening) There were three staff they were absolutely wonderful! I tend to be quite chatty they chatted right along with me! I'm pleased to see that they are also starting to do some workshops for those of us interested or already in the BDSM lifestyle. Got there at 10:56am on Saturday October 10th, waited till 11am when it’s supposed to be open. They didn’t open. Went to Walmart and waited thinking I’ll swing back on the way home.. nope. At 11:35 a sign saying they’ll be back in 5 mins. Waited. Nothing. We drove past The Love Shop to come here. Never again. I usually order online but wanted to see something specific. Sorry it's late, but did want to write in an actual review but clicked it off by mistake. So anyways the store clerk was respectful of my space when I said I needed to look around. Helpful, when telling me how everything was placed so I could find what I was looking for faster. Knowledgeable, when I found an example of what I was seeking they were able to help me narrow it down to the right item. And finally when cashing out, informative, when it came to protecting the product and discounts that were available and how to use them. So customer service was Amazing, and the product is wonderful.

Yesterday I was out shopping and decided to check out the Stag Shop. First and only one I’ve seen in Burlington since moving here. Upon entering the store I noticed the sales person attending to a customer, but it was evident I had entered the store as a chime rang. I was not greeted. I proceeded to browse as well as look for the item I came in to buy. It had been at least 5 minutes since I entered the store and I still was not greeted or acknowledged. I could have easily taken a bunch of product and left. I heard the chime ring once more. Another customer had entered. I waited to see if she would greet the new customer. And ofcourse she made herself aware to the customer across the store and said Hey, how are ya?” They exchanged pleasantries and she continued to help the other customer. She headed in my direction which was by the register and finally glanced my way and asked me, “Can I help you with anything?” I asked her for the product I was looking for and she directed me to them. Great. I started to look at other items I was curious about. All I could hear was the sales person going over product knowledge with the other customer who came in after me. I decided to google the product I was looking at. It was the same price online from another retailer as it was in this store. At this point, I didn’t feel like I was getting equal customer service, so I didn’t want to spend anymore money. I stood by the register with the original item in hand, waiting for the sales person to finish talking to the other customer. She finally came by the register. She didn’t look at me. She didn’t ask me if I was ready to complete my purchase. It was like I was invisible. Then she starts to scan the other customer’s item. I finally had to say, “Excuse me but I was standing here waiting to buy my item.” The customer apologized and said I can go ahead. But it wasn’t even the customer’s fault nor place to apologize. The sales person seemed caught off guard and just apologized and said, “I didn’t want to have to put new gloves on.” Even if that was the case, she could’ve simply asked me if it was okay for this customer to go ahead of me. I would have easily spent over $100 in there. As they had items in colours I don’t find often. But instead I spent $8. I’m a Black, identifiably queer, person and the other customers were middle-aged white men. Stag Shop has a huge pride flag in the front window, but I guess they’re not inclusive of BIPOC LGBTQ+ people. At least not at this location.

Staff has been very friendly both times we have been there. Today we got the store manager Cassandra, she was very helpful but talked a lot as we were looking around. Her information was helpful but we already but knew the basic information she was telling us. We would have preferred if she only came over and offered that information if we asked. Was being a little pushy and telling us a lot about stuff we weren't even looking at.
