Have both shopped and consigned items here. Am very happy with the honesty of the owner, her knowledge and her guidance in every aspect. I found this gem of a store because of a bad experience with OUAC Brantford and am very glad I found it. When needing items for my kids, it's an easy go to. I normally go in with a list and come out with more than I wrote down which is ok because the prices are reasonable and the quality of clothes is great. I literally think EVERYONE needs to know about this place and support her as she is local, the store is local (and not operated as a chain)! Thank you for being one of those hidden gems that I wish everyone knew about... and I hope that my review reflects that.

I like their prices and deals on clothes however their selection is quite limited. I've also had nothing but problems buying strollers from them. I've gone through 6 from Peekaboo in less than 2 years. Most recently I traded mine in for a different one, had issues, and that was corrected - given money back and chose a different stroller. Now that stroller has been causing nothing but issues since I got it. It was a 130 dollar stroller with them, and I have barely been able to use it. Check their Strollers EXTREMELY thoroughly before paying.

I used this store 14 years ago with my first born and I loved it. The items were clean and in almost new conditions, just recently went back after many years and couldn't believe the difference in standards here now. Most of the clothes aren't gently used, the other items are either out of date or in rough shape ( sun faded, stickers peeled off, dirty, cracked) the store is jammed packed and over stocked with all the same items. It's almost impossible to really look through anything, couldn't take a stroller through this store and always smells like smoke and stale. I was completely shocked at how different this store has become. I will not go back. However, this store will most likely have what your looking for.

I love going in this store and digging around through everything. It's like a treasure hunt. Some items are pricey. I just don't buy something if it is out of my price range and look someplace else for that item. I've found some great little toys though.

They do have a good selection of used items, clothing, toys and such. I found that it wasn't very organized. I like shopping at once upon a child for lightly used childrens clothes

Peekaboo it's almost new has a very, very broad and deep selection of baby and children's clothing, toys, gear, and "etc." The staff is very knowledgeable about baby equipment, and can help to point a clueless new mum like me in the right direction. The prices are quite reasonable and they have regular sales. My two criticisms are that a) the quality of some clothing items is not always as high as in other gently-used stores, although the quality of most items is acceptable or better I do keep an eye out for fading, loose threads, etc. And b) there is so much to go through, it can sometimes be overwhelming. Although the volume of items means a good variety of things to choose from, it can feel a little jumbled. I have sold an item there on consignment, and the process was pretty simple. I was able to use the proceeds towards a ring sling that I needed, which the staff was happy to show me how to use.

I had a great experience at peekaboo. I am a first time mom and I wasn’t sure what I needed in regards to a swing. The lady showed me different ones and how they worked. She was very patient with me while I made my decision. The lady also brought it out and put it in my car as I am 35 weeks pregnant and can’t do much. I will be a returning customer, Thank you!

Great place to sell and buy new/used clothing and toys. Only negative is the store is a bit cluttered with toys. Clothing is fairly organized but not much to choose from. Always fair and affordable prices though!

Love this place. Tracy(owner) is super friendly and so are the staff. They always make friendly conversation, offer to help if they see my hands full with clothing or the kids! I've been going to Peekaboo for 7 years or more. Large selection of clothing and affordable prices and I have found great deals on name brand clothing. I love the consignment! I have always brought my clothes to Peekaboo and Tracy is reasonable with what she takes and I've always been happy with peekaboo!

I went in looking for some baby gates to make my house safe for my 1 year old nephew to visit. I wasn' looking to spend a fortune. Boy did they come through! I left with 2 baby gates and a portable booster chair for a very reasonable price. The lady running the store was so helpful and patient. She showed me how to use the gates and the chair. I will be back and I highly recommend visiting, it won't disappoint.

The store is really cluttered. It can be overwhelming, but if you’re in the mood to do some thrifting, it’s just great! The clothing selection is a lot smaller than places like Once Upon a Child, but there’s way more equipment, toys, strollers (there’s always a huge selection of strollers), and random items. It’s hit or miss for me finding clothing there, but I always find anything else kid related I’m searching for. The staff are very knowledgeable about babies and children, and they’re always very helpful and friendly. They’re much more fair with consignments than other places, and I always feel happy doing business with them.

I've been shopping at location for 12+ years. My oldest just turned 12 and my youngest is now 18 months. I love the savings I can find!! They carry all your babies needs, and if I'm unsure or need something specific I call first and always get someone on the line. I totally recommend this place to any new parent or grandparents if they are looking for next to new items for the child in your life.

Peekaboo is always a favourite place. Essentials for a good price (and better if on sale), and you know that not only are you saving money but by buying used you are helping to reduce stuff that gets thrown away, as well as helping another parent. Kids are always super excited to go too as there is a small play area in store and LOTS to look at.
