Prices keep going up. When you pick up an item with a dollar store sticker for $1 and this place has put a $4 price sticker on it, there is a clear disconnect with reality. Staff seem irritated and bored. Store set up is awkward, much preferred previous layout. Not a place we choose to visit first when thrifting.

I live only a block away so I'm there everyday. Most of what I own I purchased there. The prices are fantastic and the staff are wonderful! I bought a matching desk and cabinet set today. John, a staff member, saw I was interested and not only dropped the price but delivered it to my house free of charge!! I love this place!

The store was clean and organized. You can find some very high quality clothes sometimes for very low prices, I got four tops for $10 . The store is cleaner and the prices are better than value village.

Large and well organized thrift store. A lot of people prefer shopping here because it's well priced and the proceeds don't go to a bigger corp. It's quite spacious. Large selection of women's clothing. The men's section is quite small. There are some small furniture items available. Dedicate seasonal section all year round. Lots of toys etc for kids and currently a wall of beanie babies. There are also lots of prom dresses, albeit they're a little dated.

Place could be a little cleaner. But I'm writing this because my mother was NOT allowed to claim a mask exemption without a doctor's letter and therefore was not allowed entry. This is illegal. Uninformed people making arbitrary decisions based on fear is going to lead to lawsuits which you will LOSE. Not only this, you've lost a good customer and a great donor. Perhaps management should be diligent in knowing and training for the current situation.

I look at furniture items every time I go in but I find the prices are always too expensive for me. I've found a top or 2 and a few pairs of pants for great prices. $2 for the pants. I always glance through the books and baby items, and I've found some items for a fair price.

I'm an avid thrifter and have been going to Missions for a few years. The last year or so I noticed a significant price increase on some items and the quality decrease. I'm left disappointed and reminded of Value Village (high prices and damaged product) more and more. Also, the checkout staff need to be more careful when handling breakables.

Prices are too high for a thrift shop that gets its stock from donations...ie golf clubs not worth more than $2, if you want to make cash you have to move stock and the only way you move stock is to have low low prices.

I'm disappointed with the staff at this shop. Having never visited the shop before I was unaware of the "no children" policy. There was nothing indicating the policy at the door. When we went to enter my 9 year old got yelled at by the staff member at the door, because he hadn't followed this policy. He was sent outside, then I was reprimanded. I pointed out there was no indication of the policy anywhere. Apparently they have a sign that is normally outside but had forgotten to be put out. There was no apology for the treatment, and I was upset by the way the staff member felt she could treat my child. I will not be returning as I have a chid who is with me all the time,so I will be unable to shop at this store. Disappointing and unnecessary.

This place is a very good alternative to the other big thrift store brands in town. This place is locally owned and not for profit. They sell their clothing for a much more reasonable price than some other places. The items they get seem to be of excellent quality most of the time.

Went in there a few days ago looking for candles, pillar style as well as tapers. Couldn't see any so I asked someone. She goes back to look & comes out with a shoebox of tapers... and proceeds to hand it to someone else?! After that person had chosen most of the nice, not-warped ones the box was handed to me to pick through the leftovers.. the lady went back to look again & came back with some pillar candles and again she handed them to someone else??!! Did she honestly just not remember who asked or what I looked like?? The other person again picked through the good ones and handed me the rest. At this point I spoke up and said 'um I'm the one who asked for candles.. why am I not getting first choice on at least some of them'... the lady didn't say anything.. also when I originally asked I spoke quite loud so the other shoppers nearby would have known who asked for candles?? She then came out a third time with a huge scented jar candle which she finally gave me first choice on -- except I specifically asked for tapers or unscented pillars as I have asthma and can't use scented stuff! They need to pay better attention and give first choice to the person who asked & waited patiently. And considering this is a 'Christian' thrift store the other shopper should have done the right thing & let the person who asked have first choice on at least some of the items. Besides, at this time of the year why are candles not out on display in the store to begin with?? I realize this is a small thing but it did ruin my shopping experience there, considering I hadn't been there in some time & was happy to go revisit again.. at least I was....

Okay shop run by volunteers , I purchased 2 large framed posters which were 20$ each , good price . The only problem was the woman who brought them down for me was shaming me cause I was concerned of a few scratches on the metal frames ! I was not trying to bet a discount , I was more or less musing out loud whether I wanted to touch them up . I did answer her back and she just kept being an unkind person . Other than that there was some nice finds .

I checked their website to make sure they were open to accept donations and it stated they were until 5 pm. I arrived at the location and the worker told me they were not accepting donations and pointed out a crudely made cardboard sign attached to a cement barrier. I explained that I couldn't see the sign from my house and asked if they would take the donation since I was already there. He had to go ask his manager who arrived and told me that they would not accept my donation. I left and dropped it off at Valu Village. Who knew donating things could be so difficult......
