Lol I applied here and was over qualified when doing so. I didn’t get the job because apparently the pay wage I was asking for was “too high” and the manager said he didn’t think that they could make it work. All of a sudden they are now hiring for the exact wage I said I would need lol Funny how that works. This store staff is not friendly anyways you can feel the tension in there. Wouldn’t recommend this place to ppl of colour whether it be working OR shopping here tbh.

Took in some larger baby items just because we wanted others to be able to use them as well. They did not want them because they said they ‘do not sell’ even though the items were branded and only a year old. They seem to spend more time on clothes and books. Don’t bother driving there and carrying in larger items yourself thinking that you are helping others out because they do not want them. Customer service is also poor with long wait times and little communication.

It was a lovely experience shopping here. We got got many back to school clothing items for the kids, including some very durable snow pants. It was my first time there. The staff were nice. We got some good deals, 50% off. I also learnt that we could sell back items to them after my kids have outgrown them. I didn't know that before. They also have very lovely toys. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Prices seem to be getting higher. They don't even use common sense. If you bring something to their attention, they just tell you the computer makes the prices. Poor customer service. After reading about how much they give people, it's very disappointing that they are not more flexable. I found a pair of pants they priced at $10 with the original sale tag of 70 cents still on it. I brought it to the managers attention and she said she would put it in the back for "adjusting." Sounded like code for rip the original sale tag off. Great customer service would have been giving me a discount. I highly doubt they reduced the price and if they did, shouldn't I be the one to get the savings? Poor customer service. The store is clean and I will continue to shop here, but lately it's very hit or miss.

Came in about an hour after they opened, didn’t really have an friendly introduction . Can feel immediate tension as soon as I walked in. I can tell the managers don’t treat their staff members that great. Words gets around about your team and how they’re treated, just saying. Was met with cut eye from the unhappy workers behind the counter. Until I said hi myself, they replied with very effort and not a care. Didn’t really find what I was looking for. Workers don’t really bother giving you the time of day. They didn’t even notice me walking out even though I walked right past them. Customer service who? Definitely not here. Train your employees to have common knowledge of what customer service is, even if it’s just a nice “hello” when walking in makes all the difference.

They took out the name brand items (Nike, puma, fila, adidas, etc.) in great condition & summer items out of the box of clothing I had brought and offered me $27 for items that are worth $50 or more. Couldn’t even go to a full $30. I took my stuff back was not worth it. Plus staff need to be trained better, their a bunch of airheads.

This will be the last time I am visiting this store... They don't have knowledge on how the toys work and they are not even ready to listen what we say... I handed them a brand new toy which we never used at all they rejected it by saying there is string missing it...I even showed them how it works but they are not ready to listen 2. I got the tower toy last month from the same shop now they rejected the toy saying its a bath toy and we never accept this...They dont know which is bath toy and which is not... I think only this will be the location they have people who doesnt have any knowledge on toys as a employer..

Complained about her behaviour, and she whispered "there's my manager" instead of apologizing for her insulting and crude ways; only because I asked her for reasons why my things were rejected. So much work to get there lugging your things...not worth it at all! Would rather give it to charity or pass it on.

The quality of the clothe and items are supper and since I learned this store couldn't go any other place. We are low income but wear the most expensive brands because of Once Upon a Child.staff are amazing and very respectful ????. Please keep up the good work ????.

I love this place! I've never bothered to sell my children's clothes to them, but I have been a customer multiple times. Everytime I go in, I find what I'm looking for. They have great selection, great organization, friendly staff and I find their prices very fair. I also really appreciate their points program to help stretch my budget a little more :)

Five dollars for three bags of clothes, it cost more in gas to drive over. The thing that really upset us was they took our stuff on Saturday and didn't call us until Monday and wouldn't tell us how much they would give us for the clothes over the phone.

Store is nice & bright. I was there looking at boots in my child's size and they were ALL worn through the bottom with holes/tears in the soles. They shouldn't have been on offer. Was a waste of my time.

After reading such horrible reviews about this place I was kind of scared to go and sell my stuff. I had almost 3 bags full of tween clothes that I was just gonna throw it away but I thought why not give it a try. They took only 18 items from it and gave me $24.60 for it. They weren't taking winter stuff so asked me to come back in September. The ladies were pleasant and didn't show me any attitude or anything. Overall my experience was like 4 stars, only because they rejected alot of stuff. It was in very good condition and all. But I don't mind going again to make a few $$ since I live close to it anyway.

Not very good experience. The wait time is too long. Weekends are too busy and staff is inadequate. Thing which you take there for cash out, are not checked in front of you. You don't even know how much you are paid for what. Things can be managed if proper appointment system is there. Only thing, I like is proper clothing racks and well priced.

I went two times and every visit I experienced the staff as unprofessional and rude. The first time my father and I went, a female staff member acted like we were bothering her after asking a simple question. The second time, staff were yelling and laughing like they were at a party, totally ignoring customers. The store is small and has poor selection. I preferred Weecycled, unfortunately they closed down (probably because of once upon a child), they had great selection and great customer service. Definitely won't shop at once upon a child ever again, I'll find another consignment baby store in the GTA.

By far one of the better locations!! I brought stuff in on a Saturday and they were SUPER busy. I was greeted and handled professionally - Kudos to the staff for remaining calm n clearing everything in the front area within 2 hours! Love how it's so big, bright and ORGANIZED! I live in the west end and there is no comparison to the one near me! They never seem to buy anything I have, even my name brand items.

Came in about 45 mins ago to look for a new stroller for my youngest who is 4 and can't walk far. One of my back wheels on my umbrella stroller is almost shot. I went in to see if I can get one. NO ONE HELPED til I asked about the 50% poster which was after I left the store and came back. And saw 2 strollers that could of worked but were 40 and 45 dollars-NOTE These strollers were all Most 10 year old models and both were really dirty and one of the was also ripped in areas. I thought this was a company that keeps things low and reasonable. Clearly this one in Brampton, no customer service and way overpriced when quality isn't there

First time coming into the store and I was amazed at how well kept and tidy everything is; the staff were friendly, experienced both a sell and buy with them in one day. I was looking for an item specifically, and a staff member went out of there to check for me if they had any instore. Overall, such a great experience at store. Also want to add, how when you walk in, everything is easy to find and all labelled. Will visit again! Ps. I traveled to visit this location, and it was worth it in my opinion.

This is a very upsetting experience. To go in and get .75 cents for an item is insulting. They had one big bin full of my clothing ranging from puma gap Tommy children's place mexx gymboree to offer me $50. ? This was a big waste of time. Here is a suggestion I have you post online what your range is per item per brand u will save yourself staff and unhappy customers like myself. Post it! Dont waste my time and your employees!

Good store where you can get something for your gently used or new clothes. The staff could be more friendly and faster service. Good things go fast there, I have never found any in demand items, generally out of stock. Earlier pre Covid, you could drop by anytime. Now you need an appointment due to Covid, I guess. The appointments are about 4 weeks out. Call before you go to drop stuff and ask for appointments and precautions.

Unfortunately they discriminate against people with medical conditions and will no longer be supporting a location or franchise with these policies. Its very unfortunate for a company and franchise of this size to not comply with a basic human right.

We just left this store 5 minutes ago and I couldn’t wait to write my review. We brought in a bin of clothes. Brand names. Polo , gap, Nike, brand new toms , brand new converse, brand new as in never worn not even once. After waiting around the store for a few minutes I noticed my bin still on the table- I asked if it was done. The employee “ CL” rudely said “ do you have pets?! I said I had one.. she said sooo rudely “ I had to stop going threw the bin because I’m allergic” I said I just washed everything ? She said don’t wash it at your own house go to a laundry Matt ? Is she serious. What it would cost to wash it at a laundry matt is more than what they offer you. So before she saw “ animal fur” she took out a brand new gap sweater and about 5 pairs of shoes to offer me 12$. Since the converse had never been worn I took them back so my total was then 10.75$. They offer you nothing for your clothes. I’ve been to other locations where the staff are much nicer and knowledgeable and they give you what the clothes are actually worth. This was just a dramatic young girl with no manners . Maybe the store should let their employees know that people sell for half the price their worth so it can help another family out that might be in need and can’t afford store prices. Save your stuff and sell anywhere else. Kijiji or even donate it. I’d rather take nothing and help a family then their 10$. And one more thing. My pet that she’s asking about it is a chihuahua terrier. They’re hypoallergenic and don’t shed. So it’s not like my items were disgusting , although the way she was talking to my family was as if we just got them out of the garbage bin. Hire new staff and train them to have social skills , let alone customer service.

So inconsistent here. I was selling some baby gear that was barely used I’m talking maybe 3 times and very very well kept. An employee turned it down due to a single “stain” that only she could see. She showed it to another employee who could not find the alleged stain and said she doesn’t know why it was rejected as the product I was selling fly’s off the shelves there. I went to go take a look around the store only to find plenty of super dirty items such as a high chair plastered with food in every nook and cranny so gross. And clothing with multiple holes? Mind you I browsed for maybe 5 minutes. Make it make sense?

Getting too picky!! This is the last time I will be coming in. They’re getting to picky for people donating there stuff or who wants to sell. Today was VERY disappointing, I was selling my books and they take none as if they’re “too loved” as the lady put it. AND I was offering a beautiful dish set that children could paint but it “wasn’t in demand”. How about be thankful for what you’re getting!! Never again will I step foot, I’m going to places where they’ll actually be thankful and who deserve it, not this prestigious place????

I enjoy the prices and selection for my growing boy. However, at this location (Brampton) they do not offer a change table. While shopping my son pooped and his diaper needed to be changed (he’s 3 months) I ended up having to change him on the bathroom floor. This is a children/baby store - how is there NO change table? Thought that was a little ridiculous.

They informed me that i should follow the insta page cause when they get stuff they post it up. so I did and today I saw what I was looking for get posted I called right away and they placed it on hold for me and I went and picked it up. if i could get 0 stars i definitely would. brought in a bag of clothes today, play mat, and rocker. they complained that the play mat didn’t have all the toys so i went home found them all put it back on and brought it back to the store. they rejected everything. not only did they reject my stuff that is practically all new and brand name their customer service is complete garbage. i will never go back there.
