I shop here all the time but tbh it's very unwelcoming because nobody talks to me. I've turned to buying my piercings online cause I often feel like a burden having to wait by a case for someone who is gonna ignore me as long as possible. Thank God there is one gentlemen that works there who is very friendly and always has the most colourful hair. He always makes me feel welcome and don't make me feel like an idiot when I can't find anything. I hope he gets tons of praise from HO and his management because he deserves it. I hope the rest of the team can follow in his steps, because THATS what customer service is about. It really hurts when you walk in and then the person behind you gets acknowledged instead. Please improve this :-)

My only suggestion would be to have easily visible name tags so I could compliment her by name in the review. All the other staff are warm, comforting and in no way pushy. Top 3 customer service in the mall. You hire good people.

If you're 20-30ish you're going to be smacked in their face with nostalgia the moment you walk in, and it's very likely you're going to be parted with some money. Endless popculture Tshirts, backpacks, hats, mugs, wallets, jewelry... I could go on. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Staffs are very helpful and very knowledgeable to help satisfy their customers walking into their store. The only thing that Spencer’s at CF Masonville Place needs is to restock more of their newer stuff such as hats, t-shirts, socks, posters, etc. They will often have the “Buy one, get one 50% Off” on their hats and t-shirts that is a good deal. A lot of cool stuff to buy from Spencer’s at your CF Masonville Place. I recommend this store where you buy hats, t-shirts and other.

Amazing deals on clothes and hats and all little fanboying/fangirling knicknacks that you want. They regularly have sales so you can get amazing deals on some stuff. Everything is made by spencer otherwise it will be indicated that it isn't. Their designs are original and just great to look at. I always love to come by their store and just enjoy looking at everything.

I was at Spencer's today with my two kids today. We'd been walking around for 10 minutes or so before a woman approached, asking if I had a mask. Upon telling her I'm exempt (I have Asthma severe enough that I require the rescue inhaler at least twice a day, and very recently came close to death due to anaphylactic shock to an unknown allergy, the anxiety not being able to freely breath is real) she told me it didn't matter. They discreetly proceeded to call the cops/security. However, I was allowed to pay for my son's things before leaving... :/ While at the til, the man canceled the call. I understand the employees are following what the higher ups lay out, I remained respectful. But this is crossing the line into discrimination.

Awesome character Merch from clothes to shot glasses to wallets, place to find ear stretchers and other body piercings in a wide selection. Costume accessories, lingerie that won't break the bank also sold in store usually. Staff is always on point and help as soon as you enter the store. Decent prices on most items and make sure you check out their electronic section they usually have neat looking lights... Oh and some drinking games.

Stafford are quite nice have no problems there but some of the prices seem a little high considering what the product is. though almost everything in the store is a novelty product and for a very niche market. They have a small adult section in the back of a party section just before that and all sorts of knick knack at the cashier. all sorts of novelty t-shirts on the left hand side that are worth taking a look at.

I love going to Spencer Gifts, it is a very, um... unusual store, to say the least. They have a wide variety of t-shirts, mugs, piercing jewelry, and other ordinary gifts; it is the unusual things that make this store unique. Their unusual items include, various black lights, lava lamps, interesting speakers, joke gifts, adult party items, and a large, adult, XXX, section. Any mall that has one of these stores, I always make sure to pop in and browse, if you are not offended by the joke, and adult items, I highly recommend you check it out.

Its a great place to get alt-brand items, such as graphic apparel, novelties, incense, and piercings. I come here frequently, as inventory is readily changing, and i tend to find myself buying something i didnt intend to on entering The staff is friendly, and seem to enjoy working there. PSA Be sure to keep children out of the back. They do sell adult items, and it is no one but your own fault if your kid sees a dildo.

Was a good place to go to but when we were inside there was a female worker who was complaining to us about the noise we were making. I was buying a gift for my brother and my friend had been mindlessly bouncing it between her hands. Honestly wasn’t making a lot of noise. I otherwise would have no problem stopping the noise if she asked politely. It was background noise at that point for us, neither of us noticed it. I work at a Pet Store. If there is anything I’m used to it is the squeaking of toys. But she was very rude and snippy to us. I was going to buy things there but we left empty handed because of how rude that one woman was. Other employees were great, it was that one very rude employee who ruined my experience.

Walked in the store today and not impressed at having staff roll their eyes and give me dirty looks when I explained that, I was unable to wear a mask due to medical reasons. I promptly left & will not be returning. I wonder if everyone with medical issues can expect the same treatment, or if it was just my lucky day. Staff may require customer sensitivity training. Also, people wearing masks are still required to stay 2 metres apart, but it's not possible in such a small & overstocked store!

A fun little shop similar to the "It Store" back in the 90's. A lot of fandom t-shirts, some backpacks and other odd items. Otherwise has some seasonal/holiday clothes that comes in, along with some other clothing and accessory items. Also has an adult shop type section at the back - I was surprised with this as I went with my kids while we were at the mall the first time I was there. I tend to find some items I like here, so I feel it's always worth my checking it out.

One staff member in particular was WAY too aggressive. If I say I’m just looking/browsing, it’s obvious I want to be left alone. They continued to berate my friends and I even after explaining we knew what we wanted and didn’t need any help. Customer service 101...leave the customer alone if they don’t need help!

If you're looking for a gift that is funny or out of the ordinary this is a great stop as there's tons to look at. Pricing is steep though for all that you are purchasing so be prepared to pay crazy prices. This is also an extremely small store that's hard to navigate so beware.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The food is always delicious. LOVE the views and service. It is usually busy but the service is still pretty quick for how busy it gets. I recommend waiting for an outside table in the warmer months! Its definitely worth it and you can take a walk on the lakeshore while you wait because they call your phone when your table is ready! Excellent restaurant.
