We are from out of town and came to Saskatoon for the day. No signs outside for business hours, no business hours online, it is in a building that you've got to be buzzed in so one isn't able to see the store front or if lights are on or off. Tried the phone number and got the piercing sound of a fax machine in my ear for my effort :(

Rosy made me a beautiful pair of custom mukluks over 10 years ago. She is a funny lady and there were some strange imperfections (like a few beads of the wrong colour), but overall it was a great experience. I was young and didn't have any money, so it was a big purchase for me. She worked with me to achieve the look I wanted. I still have the mukluks and always felt the price was worthwhile, moreso now as goods become inflated. Looking back I don't think she would have made very much on my mukluks considering how much time it likely took. I have since learned how to do leatherworking and beading myself. I was looking at the reviews and I seems like people have been unhappy about various things. Their complaints seem valid, but I guess what I want to express is that Rosy is very genuine. She is human. She is not perfect, as none of us are, but she makes some beautiful things. She is gifted and creative. If you work with her you need to have a different expectation than buying commercial factory products. She is very much an artist and I don't think she can operate too rigidly. I am impressed that she is still working her craft after all this time. I am thankful that she continues to make nice things for the world. I hope people will continue to support her and local artists/artisans like her.

I BEG OF YOU DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! I would give Rosy 0 stars if that was possible. She is almost IMPOSSIBLE to contact. Doesn't pick up the phone, or answer the door. I ordered a pair of moccasins as a Christmas gift, but they came in the wrong size, ordered again, wrong size. Finally I schedule a meeting with her so I can give her an outline of the size I want, she doesn't show up. She calls me a half hour later saying "I had to get bread". What? We had a scheduled time and ypu just BAIL on a customer??? Unbelievable, and VERY unprofessional.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Couldn't find the place because of no signage, my bf took a measurement of my foot to get me a pair for Christmas. Chose two styles of supposedly the same size because he couldn't choose a color and beadwork. Tried them on today and one pair is at LEAST a size too big and the other has gotta be two sizes too big or more. How can the same size differ so much and how can you not know your product well enough to give the correct size even with a measurement??

Love this place. Sometimes it’s just nice to come in and talk to Rosy. Her story is truly inspirational. Call ahead of time to see if she is available. Rosy is one person and has a life. I love browsing the tails and many furs she had available. I love hearing stories from her! Definitely a place you have to stop at while in Saskatoon.

This woman agreed to a price to make my Muks, then asked for more when they were finished. When she finally sent them she had not paid attention to how she cut the material and made two "left" instead of a right and left....too many excuses

If I could give no stars I would. Very rude and unprofessional! Tried to return moccasins and ask for a refund even though they were sealed in a bag and unused she was very ignorant and rude. Would not recommend her at all! WAAAAAYYYY overpriced!!!! Claims she was taught by an Indigenous elder but lost her teaching and meaning behind the work!

Had a pair of moccasins made for a small child and required them in a hurry. Rosy made them in just 48 hours and as a result we could deliver them to Europe in time for Christmas. Thank you Rosy, you did a great job.

Called a few days ahead of time to confirm that Rosy's would be open on Saturday, July 29th. I live in Calgary and was making a special trip down to Saskatoon specifically to purchase from this store. I was assured that Rosy's would be open from 11am to 5 pm but it was closed all day. I tried calling several times with no answer...no way to leave a message. I wasted time, money on gas and a hotel; so dissapointed and frustrated.
