The Antique store in Saskatoon with the most stuff and variety. Owner was very helpful, kind, offered a immediate small discount, and even filled, and offered to fill in the future, the lighter/case I had purchased. Prices may be a little high but what do you expect. With online shopping and a general shift in the market if it was any cheaper places like this would go out of business.

This incredible place is jammed packed with vintage goodness! Despite, what others have said, I have found the owner to be quite friendly and very reasonable. I would go as far to say it's the best antique location in the the city as most everything I have needed I have found here.

Pretty good guy. Bought a few things off of him. His prices are exactly what they're worth didnt seem to be a guy who wanted to bargain but kind and liked to talk. Dont know why people called him ornery/grumpy

This guy is pretty rude, creepy and definitely more of a hoarder than a merchant. Complains about his life then tries to make you feel worse about yours. Terrible experience and never visiting again. Not worth it. His prices are also outrageous!!!

Grumpy owner, who doesn't like customers. The picks are interesting, but more upscale vintage than anything truly antique. Plenty of '50s art deco pieces in great shape that are way over priced for what they are. You would probably do better just going to farm auctions to score these items are at least half their retail price. Most likely what the owner does. It's also stuffed with way too much stuff which makes navigating it difficult. Feels cramped. Instead of having just well picked items, there's plenty of overpriced junk located within some neat treasures. Avoid.

I would love to give a proper review but I was not able to get in the store during business hours. We live hours away, arrived at 2:17pm yesterday. The sign said we are open and when we went to go in the door was locked. We knocked and called the phone and no answer. Very disappointed, as we are not sure when we could come again.

Great mid century modern pieces but the shop was so packed and disorganized it was hard to even walk around. The guy who owns it is ok but seems a bit standoffish for a shop owner

I have had a very disappointing dealing with Brian, the owner, here. He is extremely difficult. Over $1500 of antiques were purchased from Past & Present in Saskatoon. The next week I needed to return the items as they were not purchased by someone who was in full mental capabilities. The business told me to contact them in the spring with regards to this transaction. I did. They had no room to take the items and I was told to call them again later. I did. Again I am getting the run around and I still have all of the unwanted items sitting in unopened boxes in my basement. Now I do not know if there is I can do to get a portion of the funds back. Do NOT shop here - you will get ripped off!!

Believe the reviews. Unfriendly, overpriced. So crowded you cannot walk or even see things. Everything is stacked and piled you can barely get through. The prices are out of this world.

Love this place! My wife and I have made many purchases over the last few years. We scored some super rare Glamalite glasses, some beautiful lamps and many odds and ends. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere in the upstairs room is like going back in time. Wonderful!

I had never been to this antique store before, it is now my absolute favorite! It is packed full of antiques and vintage items, if you are looking for it he probably has it. I really enjoyed talking to the store owner, he was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful! We will definitely be back as often as we can!

Love this little shop but I'm going to give Brian what for next time if he doesn't move some of the boxes out of his isle. Lots of good stuff if you can get to it. Check out the upstairs as well for goid vintage and mid century.

Amazing selection. So sad everything is overpriced and the owner is ‘difficult’. I’ve visited several times over the years because I love the selection but I just won’t go back anymore because of owner and prices. He is more of a hoarder than anything and not very nice.

Hours on their Kijiji ad say 12-5. Google also said they were open. Here at 315pm and owner was leaving. Was very rude as well. I’m from out of town and won’t be able to come another day.

Some great stuff, in particular mid century modern tables and chairs but I now understand why people say the owner is gruff.... Makes you think twice about spending your money there. I'll look see if I can find what I want elsewhere and if not I'll go back there because he does have great product

I followed my IPhone 6 right up to the front door of this place,(find my iPhone ), and quite rudely I was told that I should look elsewhere than inside this guys store for it..he's pretty nervous for theft, he eyeballs you while you shop, kinda fits the character...I wouldn't shop there, looks more like he's a hoarder than a merchant. With a commercial lot, you can't live there unless you run something, et voila, Crap you can find at the dump or kijiji for free..

I dont know what everyone is talking about. I went in and started talking to the owner and he was very helpful. Yes the place is very packed but i liked it. You really have to look for those hidden treasures.

This guy is a miserable jerk. He watches you like a hawk, and will not barter even though his prices are out of this world. He has some good quality items, but I would never spend another dime him his fire trap of a store.
