The staff lied to me over the phone. I called to confirm an event days in advance, and the girl on the phone confirmed it was a walk-in event. I arrived with two very excited children only to discover i was lied to and I would have needed to sign up for the event. The person at the front desk treated me as if I was lying when I said I had called before. Very disappointed. Their staff needs to provide the correct informarion over the phone. Other than that the store is clean and tidy and well stocked.

Great toy store, excellent staff. You are free to browse and if you need any assistance at all the knowledgeable staff is eager to help. Today I needed a birthday gift and it took the young man who helped me about 30 seconds to lead me to the perfect thing! They even wrapped it for me! They have a large selection of toys for all age groups, books,games and right now (end of April) they have lots of outside and water toys featured.

The store itself is great. The staff is as bad as it gets. They act like you're ruining their day when they have to ring your purchases through. There's never anyone manning the till, so you either have to search for help or wait until one of them stops avoiding eye contact and actually deigns to do their job. I've been there many times in the last year and every time my good mood is ruined when it's time to pay. I'm about done with this store.

The only reason that I give a one star is there has no zero star. If you not familiar with their return policy, there is a hint. If you open it, you cannot return it because all return item need be in a "resellable condition". Which means they can refuse your return anything if your kids opened and played any toys. I hope your kids really love everything you buy in this store.

Frustrating shopping at best. So many items not priced. It's a guessing game to know how much something is. Had to use my phone to search for prices on their website just to find prices. Just tag the shelves like every other store already.

Overall a nice store with very nice selection, however their service leaves much to be desired. This is the second time I've visited the store to buy something that according to their website was in stock - however it wasn't . I've been told it takes several hours for their online system to update. So what's the point of checking to see if something is in stock if it's several hours behind and you carry so little product you'll sell out. Found what I wanted to buy on Amazon and it's coming tomorrow. Sorry Mastermind Toys, but you've lost a sale.

I recently visited Mastermind Toys for the first time. The person at the front was helpful and friendly. When it came time to checkout I was offered free gift wrap, which was a nice surprise. The soccer ball my 2 year old son picked out was in a bin filled with blue and pink soccer balls with three signs that said 60% off. When I went to pay I asked why the discount wasn’t applied and was told an employee put the discount signs on but shouldn’t have. It would have been nice if they would have honoured their mistake and then taken down the signs but I was refused the discount. The $12 off my $60 bill could have retained by business in the future. Edit: The gift I purchased happened to be the last one they had and it looked like the box was ripped open and taped on the bottom. I asked if it was a return and the woman working didn’t know. She told me she would give me a gift receipt so I could return it if there were any problems. I assumed the gift receipt was put on the box when wrapped. There was no gift receipt when it was opened and the toy was missing a part so it didn’t work.

They have a great selection of toys and games with competitive prices. The staff are extremely friendly and either very knowledgeable or fans themselves of the items. I particularly like that the store is always kept in order and shelves tidy.

We shop here regularly for gifts and our own kids. They have an excellent selection of toys and books for a wide range of ages. Good selection of Lego for a relatively small store, including minifig mystery packs. I love that they wrap (or did before covid), and usually have a couple of excellently priced “purchase with purchase” promos. Staff are friendly, all around great experience at this location.

What great service!! Were we greeted with smiling faces when we walked in. Very inviting atmosphere. Once we selected our purchase they gave us complimentary gift wrap and taped the gift receipt on the inside. My daughter and I were able to continue to wander through the store while they wrapped our gift. Then they very politely came to find us to give us our wrapped gift with a bow in it. Very very impressed with the store and staff. They will continue to get my business in the future.

Joke of a company, was gifted a defective and dangerous product. Due to the current closures we could not go in-store. Used their live chat and spoke to Dionne and was told the date had just passed for returns and we'd have to take it back "to see" if it can be replaced. I'm returning a defective product, not one I don't like. With service like that I'll stick with Amazon or Walmart thank you very much! EDIT: Spoke to a member in store once they re-opened and they provided an in-store credit for the item. While this was not the smoothest experience the staff at this location were understanding and easy to deal with.

Hello, This is one of the best toy stores that I have been to! They have a great variety in products and the staff is very knowledgable and is very attentive to your needs and wants. It can be a bit nerve wracking purchasing the right gift for a child but the staff there made it so easy. I would definitely recommend going there.

I originally called to ask about availability of a product I saw online. I was redirected to the website to view inventory instead of the store person checking in-store while I was still on the phone with them. I followed directions and "reserved" my product online because it said it was "in-stock" only to receive an email one hour later stating it wasn't. I needed the product that day, otherwise this wouldn't have been an issue. Disappointed with customer service.

A great place to look for gifts for all ages. I found a great Dr. Seuss adult colouring book around Christmas last year. The staff are really friendly but sometimes when the store is really busy, it can be difficult to manoeuvre around all the people because if the store size.

The staff was great, they were helpful and kind and took the time to help my daughter and I look for what my daughter had wanted. It's a very welcoming atmosphere with surprisingly reasonable prices. I was a little nervous about the "smaller style toy store" being over priced and I was pleased to find their prices were the same and some things even cheaper. The selection is phenomenal with plenty of options for all different ages. I would recommend checking this place out, and they even have fun events.

This please is amazing. They have options for girls and boys of all ages. They have options that are educational, gross, tendy, and all super fun. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. They offer complimentary gift wrapping and gift receipts. The gift wrapping is exceptional! There are many options for wrapping paper. The wrap job is excellent and they top it off with ribbon and bows. There is always ample convenient parking. And they have a wide price range for products.

Customer service is so poor. I bought a drone for my kids yesterday, and return it today when we noticed is too dangerous for the kids no matter how we tried to adjust it. The store won’t return it and let us deal with the manufacturer by our self. Looks like all there costumer service they have is just “deal it by yourself or throw it to the trash bin”. Will never go back.

Bought 2 crafts, listed as age 5+ on the box. Not only were the crafts waaaay too advanced for that age but the materials were super poor quality. The boxes were opened, yes, but when the items supplied can’t be used to create the item bought there is a problem. Wouldn’t even give a store credit. Was excited to support a smaller style shop but won’t be anymore. Better quality crafts at the dollar store, Walmart and Toys R Us for a fraction of the cost. Not sure I’ll even be able to GIVE these away. So disappointing.

I was here to find a gift for my youngest daughters birthday. I didn't feel particularly noticed or cared about .. after about 15 mins of wandering around one of the two workers stocking shelves asked what I needed and told me they didn't carry what I wanted. About 10 more minutes and a second employee asked and when I told her that they didn't carry what I wanted she asked the first and they both told me they didn't carry what I wanted. On my way put the door after deciding that I was done I was stopped by the young woman at the till (Brie? I'm sorry I lost the receipt) she asked about who I was shopping for and if it was an occasion, she asked what skill level my daughter was at and the toys she already has, she reccomended things that are popular in store and things popular on social media.. she walked me around and gave me a level of customer service that every store owner should be proud to have in an employee... I immediately told my wife how happy I was after starting off on a less than great note. Nice save. I'll be back.

Lego, mechano, books, games, activity toys, nerf guns, more Lego, remote control vehicles, puzzles, science projects, scooters, and also Lego.
