Good old H & M. Was there to get some stuff. Quick shopping is never done at this store, because there is so much stuff. The store was a bit disorganized the day I went there, and a bit busy too eh. Anyway, the workers generally let you do your own shopping, you can get a hold of them when you need them. I felt so bad for the cashier, the store was really busy, and quite a few customers needed help. He had to be everywhere. Anyway, good stuff.

Rude staff by the name of Courtney! I was asking for an extra bag from a rude staff at the cashier cuz I ripped my paper bag with the jacket I purchased in it just few steps away from the store. She immediately said that they do not allow it. I explained what happened and then arrogantly repeated that they can’t allow it. So I ended up doing a refund instead cuz I’m already upset. This kind of service is terrible. They barely have customers and yet they still manage not to go extra mile to take care of their business.

Both times I shopped here, I had bad experience with the staff in the fitting room. First one was like "Can you hang the clothes after trying them on?" I do that all that time whenever I try on clothes, but to demand that to customer? Not classy. Second time, I had to try a bunch of clothes, probably 7, but only 3 of them worked for me. When I handed them over to the lady, she was like " Oh wow!", with a look that's like saying "oh you tried a lot, and you're only getting 3" I mean, i understand that it's annoying sometimes when customers try on a lot of clothes, but that is your job. And you don't have to make them feel bad for trying your stuff on.

I'm giving 2 stars because i usually get good service here and clothes are alright but mainly because i hate nothing more than losing money when it can easily go towards my family. I'm not cheap I'm frugal. I bought my wife maternity leggings on my lunch break and asked one of the employees about the return policy before buying and she said no problem, within 30 days . Wife said it was the wrong one (it always is) and wrong size so upon returning the store manager said it's hosiery and final sale she wont accept it. What a jip! Pls train your staff.

I bought 3 clothes from here and One of them was a size too small. When I came back here the same week to exchange it for the right size , she straight up rejected it. I had the receipt and the packaging was perfectly sealed. Terrible customer service. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to come to this location.

Pros: Decent quality of products, decently priced products, wide variety of products, and the sales floor is usually pretty well-stocked. I'm especially pleased that I don't have to cripple my wallet to find jeans that fit me well in terms of waist size AND leg length (whoever said that fashion is geared towards tall, thin people has clearly been in the habit of spending hundreds of dollars exclusively on designer clothing). Cons: Staff is rarely available on the floor for assistance--sometimes, there isn't even anyone manning the change rooms; Returns can sometimes be a bit of a hassle, depending on who is processing it; They don't do returns or exchanges for items purchased online, even for non-online-only items (at least, that's what the cashier told me at the time).

I was at the store at 2:38 pm today. At the change rooms there was a young man directing people to empty rooms with a smile on his face and greeting everyone happily. You can tell he enjoyed his work. His co--worker on the other hand was putting discarded clothes on hangers and did not crack a smile. A customer asked her a question and it looked like she was annoyed at the question. Saw all this while I was waiting for 15 min. The young man could teach her customer relation skills!

i enjoy this location a little more then south commons. I lol at the comments on here. the horrors of having to wait in long line ups or abide by store policies. people here are crazy. can you imagine if everyone knew the store phone #? poor store would be hectic grabbing phone calls. I normally like the H&M clothing, although I've never required customer service before today, and when I did it was terrible. For one, they don't have any of the actual store numbers, just a 1-855 number. I tried phoning that to get the WEM H&M store number, then I waited on hold for 20 minutes before they told me phone lines were closed for the night. You know customer service is not a priority for the stores when you can't even get ahold of them.

This store has horrible customer service. My son Accidentally bumped mannequin with his shoulder as he turned to see what his cousin was showing him. The employees yelled and were upset over this mannequins arm breaking then the fact that my son was almost hurt by this huge piece which was not bolted down or even supported by something of the same weight. Just a tiny pole. Get real! Asked to speak to a manager after the rude remarks. Was told they were all managers. Found out the "real" manager was not in. Absolutely rude! I will never go back to this west Edmonton store location! Spend your money at Kingsway if you like the store! They are the best!

Will never shop in this store again. Horrible experience. Purchased something online. Totally wrong fit. Went to HandM to return. Cashier working March/1.2019. On his own and did not know how to do any transactions. Called for manager who took an inordinate amount of time to respond. Another worker had to intervene because he was not using walkie talkie correctly! Manager of this store was soooooooooo rude. Told me "We don't do any returns here! I requested District Manager or Manager and she said "I have all the authority in this city? No-one will intervene? Now a week earlier they had refunded me in this store online purchase refund. Asked for District managers name or a callback she refused and after 15 minutes returned with a scrawled piece of paper. Phone number of course incorrect. Finally called Customer Service spoke to Jessica who said she was manager! Apparently not! Asked once again for District Manager to call me she states"They never reach out to customers" Why not? She was inadequate and was extremely rude!!!!!!!!!!Maybe K. Stenvenkel should actually listen or monitor sales staff! Website to voice concerns doesn't work. Disabled! In this day and age any negative reviews especially online can impact any vendor! What customers need to know is this is a store that does not value customer service. Any online purchases take hours to do and if returning a customer must pay for the privilege of returning to warehouse. Good vendors have this applied at time of purchase and do in store returns on online purchases at no cost to their customers! An ordeal that I hope others read about!

The worst customer service ever I can't even believe what I witnessed today at H&M at west ED I had a baby with me and I was in the store looking around when all of the sudden my shopping bag from zara ripped and my items fell on ground. I went to the cashier and asked this employee named Karen if I can have a bag and she was like no we can't give out bags I was like ok I will buy a socks just to get a bag cause everything was on the floor and she said no I will give you the smallest bag. I was like I have jackets on the floor like I can't walk all the way back to ZARA to get a bag when I have a baby with me and I can't carry all these stuff with me, she kept on saying no is company policy and we can't give you a bag. I was shocked to the point like what am I going to do I shop at this store all the time and was willing to even buy a socks just to get a bag. I asked her for a manager and she was like I am the manager even more shocked at this point how could a manager do such thing.. I will never ever shop from there ever again and H&M needs to teach there employees better customer service..

Had a horrible experience exchanging a pair of maternity pants yesterday. The cashier said I had worn the pants because of how it’s stretched out and stains on the pants. Added to that, the tag was attached to the pair of pants when I brought it into the store. However when they were looking for it, the tag was gone. This made it even worse because now it really looked like the pants was returned as worn. The manager came over and showed no sympathy and embarrassed me by accusing me of returning a pair of worn pants. I explained I had bought the pair of pants without checking because I thought it was the pair I needed. I was also in a hurry that day. When I got home and tried them one (with the tags still intact) I noticed I had bought the wrong style. However they hang all the different styles of the same color pants on the same rack. Therefore, I grabbed the wrong one and I’m here to exchange it. However, I had never worn the pants out or even removed the tag. I basically tried it on like how I would have in the fitting room at the store. The manager proceeded in asking if I would be okay if someone else bought these pair of pants that looked like this. I asked her what stops a customer from actually wearing the pants and returning it and your staff allowing the customer to return it. Now instead I’ve fallen victim to someone’s mistakes. Or what stops a individual from stretching out the pair of pants and getting stains on it when they were in the fitting room? They’re maternity pants, it’s quite natural to try them on in the fitting room and having your belly stretch out the pants a little. She essentially said I should have tried it on in the store before buying it. Lady, that’s not even mandatory that’s why you have a return policy that allows customers to bring back products they’re not satisfied with. At the end, I ended up keeping the pair of pants and purchasing the pair of pants I needed. I didn’t do this because I felt like I had lost the battle in argument. I felt that it was a waste of my human life arguing with someone who has a “manager” title but really doesn’t understand what customer service is suppose to be. Even if you weren’t able to exchange the item, don’t make the customer feel accused of doing something they didn’t do. Even if you suggested a 10% off for their next purchase because of someone’s wrong doing probably would have made the situation better. I really hope this manager finds another job. With that kind of customer service, she’s costing the company some money.

Horrible experience at this location. This is THIRD time that items placed on hold were put back before the deadline and I mean like hours before! No remorse from the cashier, manager was standing next to her listening to the whole conversation did not offer an apology or anything. It’s sucks that they get the best selection of clothes and so if we want the clothes we have to go back there but this is by far the worst location. Spare yourself the time and go to one of the other locations. Such horrible customer service! Managers need to know that if you are in retail you need to get your customer service down. Horrible experience.

The workers named Claire and Shandra are prime examples of why this store is a disaster. I would give this place zero but it isn't an option. This isn't even a review for others, this is a message for the H&M corporate office. This has absolutely got to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. First, Claire and Shandra do not know your store policy. The cashier would not exchange an item because it was the wrong size, the best part is that we were still at the register when we realized it was the wrong size! They stated that sale items are final sale and when we challenged them on this "policy" they threatened to call security. Really? I welcome you to look at the security footage and tell me who was the aggressive one. Also, take a look at the policy on the back of your receipt, better yet look at the photo I attached to make it easier for you. It does not say that anywhere on the policy that it is final sale. Second, the original worker Claire, is a terrible liar who claimed she was the only manager and then hid behind a "policy" instead of making things right for a customer who drove from BC to shop at west Edmonton mall. Third, the "manager" Shandra also hid behind the policy and refused to provide information to elevate this issue. If you're curious why the rating for this store is 2.2, now you know specifically why.
